Warm and welcoming

This property was clean and beautifully decorated. We spent 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The property itself is a little old but have been well maintained. Close to the Norfolk airport but it's very quiet at night. Great for our family and friends of 8.

Norfolk stay

The property is layed out well for families, Its dated somewhat, Previous renter had smoked in the house prior to our arrival we where alerted by the property manager about the smoke smell but not notified that it was pot smoke smell. Understand that is out of managers control so we delt with the smell. The next morning however we found the cabinet over the stove had a health population of Roaches the size of your thumb living in it. We had two more reservations for a total of 4 nights booked. we asked the property manager to cancel the reservations without penalty which they agreed to. we received the refund for one of the stays but not the second stay. Following that they have refused to contact us by email text or phone we have went through VRBO and they have also not been able to contact them. Still trying to get refund for second cancelled reservation with no sucsess. would be cautious renting this property. Check cabinets for big bugs.

Great Spot, Reasonable Price & CLEAN!

My family and I highly enjoyed ourselves. Very spacious, very clean. The only small flaw is the physical location trying to find the house on the street while driving.

Spacious and homey

Nice neighborhood less than half a mile from Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out back on the deck. Back yard is nice and large. Plenty of seating for family to visit on the front porch. Very home like experience. If I every find myself back in the Norfolk area I will be sure to book this property.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

My family and I (all born and raised in Virginia but been Texans for 10 years) were traveling to Virginia Beach for a family wedding. We were a little worried about booking a house with no reviews but so glad we went with our instincts. This house was more than amazing. It was so cute and spacious for our group of 5 adults and 4 kids, we were never on top of each other! The bonus play room in the back was a hit with the kids, they had more than enough toys to keep our littles occupied and the 2 twin beds in that room were an added plus for us that wasnt in the initial pictures. The kitchen was big enough for me to decorate a 3 tier wedding cake plus 2 additional cakes! The location was great...right by the airport, botanical gardens, not far from Oceanview beach, 5 mins from the interstate and plenty of stores and food places. Oh and the backyard was beautiful!! Make sure to have breakfast on the deck. Check in was a breeze and communication with both hosts was always quick. Thank you so much for an awesome trip back "home".

Fell in love with the warm charming home It is in a Great Neighborhood and Location. Safe, Relaxing and in the CENTER of everything! Airport 2-minutes away; Hampton Roads Area (Norfolk; Virginia Beach; Chesapeake VA: Greenbrier/Western Branch Great Shopping Private and Mall and other common stores; Oceans/Parks Golfing, Work Out Centers Planet Fitness/One Life/YMCA and Community Rec Centers. Easy access to Shopping and Outdoor events. Nice to step into the excitement and then come home to a relaxing home. Airplanes fly out and in on the other side of the airport so we only hear them from a far. Botanical Gardens is a Beautiful place walk and site see during the summer and Holidays such as Halloween and Christmas events.
