Location is a bit remote, but very peaceful. Deer visited us daily. The furnishings were a bit worn, but clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant stay.

Not a waterfront property! Clean spacious, basic, 10 am checkout

The property was spacious, kept clean, appliances though dated (dishwasher) worked fine. It was a nice suburban property on a golf course. There was a cute outdoor deck and surrounded by trees. I was disappointed that the beds had to be made, including fitted sheets we had put evrything on, even pillow cases on. We had to spend our vacation time doing these things that should've been done. There was only half a roll of kitchen towel single ply. Two very old looking dish cloths which didn't use. The bathrooms had single ply toilet rolls (gas station style). There was just one and one tenth of it in one bedroom. The hosts kept exactly 4 towels in all maybe cause we were 5 people. There were no extras and none for the 5th person in our group so we had to share. As soon as we entered there was a shoe rack with the owners slippers and shoes welcoming us. The guest book had multiple entries thanking the owners for letting guests borrow slippers so the white carpets didn't get dirty. Seemed odd to have so many comment because it was basic 80s carpeting in a light colour. Although the house was nice enough all these little things created a mildly unpleasant experience. Vrbo messages went unanswered. There was no waterfront as advertised. And the checkout was 10 am which was too early for a 4 pm check in.

Family weekend

The house was beautiful and located in a private cul-de-sac. House was very clean and well-stocked with necessary cleaning supplies, spices and condiments. My only complaint ( which is why I gave it a 4, if it hadn't been needed, I would have given it a 5) was the living room couch is not a pull out as stated in the property description. My family and I had a great weekend and would definitely rent again.

Well equipped home

This house is perfect for a family group. It has everything you need in the kitchen. Each bedroom has its own bathroom upstairs. The heating system has numerous thermostats; perfect for everyone. Located at the end of a cul de sac; very private. Loved our stay here. Will be back.

Mountain Family Vacation

The house was beautiful with ample room for 8 adults and 1 toddler, the only complaint besides seeing some ants here and there. was that we were not able to use any of the property amenities. This was quite disappointing for me and my family members since it was prime season for the lake , pool and golf. We had to go off sight for recreation.

Great House!

Location is the best! Owners stopped by just as we checked in. They were so accommodating and helpful. She leaves you a book with all the details of the house, property, and nearby area. The house has three very large bedrooms upstairs each with their own private bathroom; that is such an excellent feature if you are traveling with multiple couples. On the main floor is two more bedrooms. One is perfect if you have a family with one or two young children because you can put them on the day bed that pulls up to be a queen. It is also located in a cul-de-sac so it is private and has space to park 8 cars (4 in driveway) 4 around the edge of the circle. Definitely would use this house again!

Great for Work Trip

I traveled to this property for a work trip and it was perfect! There were separate rooms and separate bathrooms which made it perfect for the sleeping arrangement among colleagues. The house was clean and spacious. The dining room table provided an ideal workspace for us and it wasn't too far from restaurants and other attractions. Definitely recommend!

What a pleasant stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the place. It was neat and clean with a very well stocked pantry and appliances. Three of the bedrooms had attached bath which was a very plus. The whole place was so well organized. It just felt like home!

This place is soo amazing

A beautiful home in a gated community, about a mile from the lake. The host communicated effectively and was very kind. The home was clean and spacious for my family and i. My family and i would love to stay there again. -Crystal P.

Quiet area

The house is large and comfortable although better suited to 3 couples. We had 4 couples. The 1st floor bedrooms were converted from a den and office and the beds are small. There is only a 1/2 bath on the 1st floor. The area is very pretty and very quiet. Overall, we liked the home and the area a lot.

Big home

Home in Pocono Pines was big with 3 big bedrooms on the 2nd floor and 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor that were originally a den and a study. We originally were 5 adult couples but 1 couple did not make it. They would have been very uncomfortable in either downstairs bedroom as the beds are small. There is no full bath on the 1st floor and all baths upstairs are in bedrooms, a little awkward. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed staying there. New sheets are needed, the king sized sheets were very stained and off putting. Luckily we had our own.
