the condo was excellent, close to pool and stores.very clean. there was 8 of us total and we had plenty of room. check in was a breeze. the third bedroom could have used a dresser for more storage but we made it work. I would stay here again. the views were amazing !!! AAAA

Our Amazing Vacation

We had a great stay at Edgewater’s Resort. We come to this Resort several times each Summer and it is our Favorite. Our condo was very nice and roomy. Our host was great to work with and our unit was very clean. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony and the great view of the pool and ocean. We will be back each year to this Resort.

Beautiful Stay

We had a little bit of a hiccup with me arrived but Melissa was able to get us in the room no problem. The condo was beautiful and it was huge, the resort itself was very nice too. The condo was remodeled beautifully and it felt luxurious. I would totally come back again and we do plan on booking it again for next year the same time around.

We loved our stay in this condo! Very spacious and loved that there were 3 bathrooms. Nice view and convenient to the steps. Decorated very pretty, too. There were only a couple of cons… first off when we had to remove the sheets from the beds before we left, we noticed a ton of stains on some of the mattresses, especially in the girly decorated room with 2 beds. Not sure why there aren’t mattress protectors on them. All beds were very comfy though! Everything else seemed clean in the condo! The other issue was like others said, all of the plastic chairs on the balcony are broken in some way. We were still able to use them, but we had to be careful not to scratch our legs on the broken seats. Also one of the banisters on the balcony was loose, so I made sure to inform the hostess who said she would inform maintenance. We also didn’t use the bar chairs inside, they were wobbly. Other than those few things, everything was great and we would definitely rent this condo again! Love that we were able to check in around noon instead of 4, appreciate that so much!! We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this room!

Deck chairs were all broken and cracked. Handle from balcony into master suite was missing on outside. Mattresses were all very uncomfortable, need to be replaced. Gave us code for front door but failed to tell us we had to use it to lock door when we left for beach. So for 2 days and nights the room was unlocked all day and night. ( my door automatically locks when I leave at my house). No ceiling lights in any of the bedrooms. No bedside light in master bedroom. They had 2 lights, one was around a picture and one was around headboard. Thank heavens we brought a flashlight to use in master bedroom at night. Balcony lights had wasps nests in 3 of them and no bulbs in all 4 lights. Only 1 plug in master bedroom worked and same issue in other 2 bedrooms. Lighting was horrible throughout the whole condo.

Great place

Overall, this was a great place for a family vacation and had everything we really needed. Pros: Nice apartment (as shown), plenty of space in and outside, comfortable furniture/beds, lots of food and entertainment nearby in easy walking or driving distance, great beach with some paid activities (jet skis, parasailing), easy parking, the pools at beach towers 2 and 3 were the perfect temp (not technically supposed to be used by people staying in this apartment, though), some beach equipment provided (two beach chairs, boogie boards, and some sand toys) Cons: No beach towels provided, no doors between sleeping areas and bathroom sink area and the bathroom plumbing is unusually loud (loud faucets, plumbing groans loudly after flushing a toilet), main lagoon pool is not really heated so unpleasantly cool in April, upcharges to use chairs and umbrellas on the beach and some areas of pool.

Best Location

The location of this unit is perfect as it overlooks the pool and beach. Check in is easy and convenient. Property manager was quick to respond and gave us a late check out. The kitchen is well stocked with two types of coffee makers, an electric tea pot, blender, toaster and tons of cooking pots and pans. There aren’t many drinking gasses or much silverware for such a big unit and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. FYI and tip: no coffee, sugar, keurig pods to get you started with although it did have filters. Also, be sure to get extra toilet paper and trash bags. Each room had one roll of toilet paper which didn’t last 2 days. All in all we loved the big living space to hang out and enjoy our short stay at the beach for a triathlon race.

High school spring break with family

We brought our two teenagers and their friends to Edgewater for Spring Break. The property itself is great. So much to do! We chose this co do for our group because two rooms had two double or queen beds, so great for older teens with a few friends. Great location on the property and huge balcony. Close to pool, beach and on site restaurant which we really loved considering the size of the property. Also the living room and dining room easily accommodated the size of our group, which was great. Overall we had a good stay and the condo met our needs, but there were several things that could’ve used improvement. Very loud plumbing that you could hear throughout the condo any time a toilet flushed, no overhead lighting except over the dining table, no doors between bedrooms and main bathroom areas, main sliding door very difficult to open and close (to the point we just just didn’t use it), broken patio furniture, pots and pans need to be replaced (nonstick coating coming off, so didn’t really want to use them) and not enough silverware for the number of guests (6 forks for the entire condo). We also had to go buy our own pillows for the master because the ones in the room were so flat they were unusable. None of these were deal breakers, but things to be aware of when booking this property. All of these (minus the lighting and plumbing issue) and easy fixes that I’m sure should be resolved and we would consider staying in this room again.

Loved the property amentities

The property was amazing! We loved the restaurant, the store, Starbucks, and the cleanliness of the properties and the grounds. The unit, however, was another story. Upon entering the unit, there was a stale smell. There were stains on the furniture, the drapes had several stains on them and the floors were dirty. The kitchen cabinets were filthy and the dishes were dirty as well. When we entered the bedrooms, they weren’t properly cleaned either. The floors were dirty, hair balls on the floors and when the blankets were pulled back, there were random hairs in the bed. The sofa was grossly stained and we put our towels on it to even sit on it during our stay. The kitchen counter top is peeling off in areas. Also, there are no extra blankets or sheets. So if you find yourself chilly, you’re out of luck. We were told that there was an inoperable sink in the master bath but was never contacted about if it was going to be fixed during our stay or not. The master bath rugs were damp when we got there and smelled musty. All in all, the cleanliness was less than standard and we were disappointed in that. The property itself was amazing and we made do with cleaning things ourselves and washing dishes before we used them.

Great beach and ocean views

Melissa, the local property manager, made contact prior to us arriving. Melissa was friendly and offered local suggestions which was appreciated. Checking in was fast and easy! We loved the view and space the condo offered. The bed(s) were soft and comfortable. Unfortunately the overall cleanliness of the condo was not great. We found strands of hair on the sheets and pillows. The stove, oven and baking pans were dirty. There were noticeable stains on the couch. So much so that I felt the need to use blanks to cover the couch during our stay. I cleaned several of the drawers and cabinets as I made room for food and personal items. We discovered mold on the refrigerator ice dispenser. The master shower door was broken/off the track. Melissa was quick to respond and said she would have maintenance come fit it. Unfortunately they never did. I noted a couple other minor repair and maintenance items to Melissa. I felt bad to bring up so many issues. I certainly understand these are all normally R&M things that will come up. I was disappointed that so many things came up on our stay.

Bad experience in condo

Upon arrival, there was NO TOILET TISSUE in the condo. I realize that you have to buy your own for the week but I expected there to be at least one roll available. There were roaches in the kitchen. We were offered reimbursement for the products we went and bought to get rid of them. It did not get rid of them. On the last day I opened a kitchen drawer up to put a fork up and there was a roach in the drawer. The second night my adult children arrived they went and sat on the bed and it flipped them off because the bed was broken. When we went to lift up the mattress to see where the problem might be, there was trash under the bed. A napkin. A skittle. A qtip. There are a lot of modern light switches and modern controls in shower. We googled the instructions but there are so many light switches it takes a while to figure out which switch goes to what. Each picture going down the hallway has its own switch and lights. The wrong internet and password is in the email as well as on the information sheet left in kitchen.The door code wasn’t correct either. When we were close to arrival, Melissa did call and let us know that the code didn’t work and gave us a new code. I’ve been staying at Edgewater for many years and never had this many problems. And this is the most I have ever paid to stay at the beach! So I was very upset and stressed about all of the problems.

Beautiful condo at a beautiful resort

My family has stayed in this condo on our last three vacations. We love the Edgewater Resort and PCB. This condo is an end unit with three bedrooms, a wrap around balcony and has the space we need. It ihas been updated and is beautifully decorated. Great views of the lagoon pool and the ocean.

Our girls vaca in this condo was a memorable one! Our large corner balcony overlooked the beautiful pool and the beach, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was spacious and clean, highly recommend.

Disappointed

Our flight canceled leaving out Saturday morning. Evolve said they tried to get in touch with the owners to see what they could do but no luck. The property manager said to see if we could reschedule but still no luck. We booked one more day with evolve thinking we was leaving out the next day and wanted to enjoy our time and not be rushed. But my husband woke up throwing up. We had to cancel the whole trip. We lost all our money but we hope maybe the owner will let us reschedule. We love Panama City beach. We try and go every year.
