Really enjoyed our stay at Fortunata winery. The atmosphere food, wine and music were just awesome. The villa was even more than we expected. Plan to come back.
This is our second stay at Fortunata and it has been fantastic both times. The setting is gorgeous and relaxing. The villa was comfy and spacious. Winery staff were communicative and responsive. We will be back!
Stayed just one night. Very clean quiet and beds were very comfortable! The only issues we had were that the WiFi did not work and there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker. The no WiFi was not a big deal for us as we were not there very long and I bought coffee filters for the coffee maker so now that issue is solved. We enjoyed the tranquility of the property and the ease of the stay. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to others.
Stayed for a wedding weekend held at the near by wedding venue Brighton Abby. Perfect distance fr…a
Jay was great to accommodate us and answer questions. Easy feel and enough room for us to gather in while waiting to go to the wedding as a family! Super cute villas made it fun to do hair and makeup for a few of us! Thank you!
This was such a fun place to stay. The villa itself was very nice. Clean and well appointed and met all of our needs. We loved the live music on Friday and didn’t want the night to end. So nice to walk just a few steps to go to bed. We were in town for an event a few miles away so this was just perfect. Enjoyed a day shopping in Denton which wasn’t too far away. Very charming downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing time at your property. The villa was clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the food, wine and entertainment. One thing though, when booking, it said that there is a hot tub on site and there isn't. Already talking about our next stay with ya'll.
My daughter used Fortunata Winery as her venue for the wedding and reception as well as the rehearsal dinner. Family of the bride and groom all stayed at the properties located there. Villa #1 is the largest and was perfect as a bridal staging area. The food and wine were amazing and all the guests were impressed with the quality and how delicious everything was. The staff and Ms. Jannette went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and always with a smile.
I booked this place for two nights. The first night was for me and my bridesmaids. We used the room to get ready. It was so much fun. We had room to do our hair and makeup and very nice bathroom to change in. The small kitchenette allowed for us to have a nice brunch spread while we got ready. That night my new husband and I came back and spent our wedding night here. It was amazing and romantic.
This Villa was very nice, however, we found a few things broke upon arrival & kitchen was not stocked very well. Nothing to do dishes with except paper towels. Bed was not comfortable & pillows were terrible. There for my daughters wedding in June. A/c worked great!
Very nice and a good alternative to noisy hotels. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the restaurant, as it was closed when we arrived. After attending a family function nearby, there was no parking for our villa on our return. The designated spaces were full as was the main parking lot when we came in Friday evening. Other than that, it was very nice and we would like to stay again. Thank you.

Almost wouldn’t have gotten in…
The stay was beautiful, and the property and location was amazing, but the keypad code was wrong, and the number for the host was the winery which was closed. Luckily, my boyfriend saw someone working and asked if they could find out the code from the owner, otherwise I don’t think we would have gotten in since contacting the host was impossible through Vrbo and the winery number. This was also my Christmas present for the significant other, so if we weren’t able to get in it would have been very disappointing to say the least…Bath also leaked, had to bundle up towels…

Called the property, no response. The door to the room wouldn’t open, maintenance men got into the room with hammers and pry bars. After that, we didn’t feel safe staying at the property. I called the owner, we didn’t stay. I will be filing a formal complaint. There’s a chicken/Turkey coop right outside the door! It’s nasty, rundown, and I’ll never ever stop telling people how awful it was on every social media platform because they wouldn’t call me back. STILL waiting for a call!

Some nit-picky constructive criticism
First off, overall, it was a great stay. The place was very clean and entry instrux were provided via email the day before our check-in. A few things to note for the rental mgr:
- their network would not connect to the internet for our entire stay;
- coffee and coffee pot were provided, but no sugar (they had splenda only) or creamer;
- unable to find parking in the 'villa guest parking only" spots on Saturday afternoon/evening....presumably because non-villa guests were parking there during their visit to the winery;
- wall clock didn't work...not an issue for those who keep their cell phones on their person at all times, but for those of us who don't, it was a little annoying;
- we are big ice people, and there wasn't an ice bin in the freezer to empty the ice trays into so you can refill the ice trays;
- water heater must not be very big as the hot water ran out while filling up the tub in the bathroom.....had to wait a while before I was able to take a shower after my spouse took a tub bath so that I could take a hot shower....I only mention this as there were only 2 of us in this unit and the VRBO description indicated the villa would accommodate up to 6 people. And lastly....
- we expected this place to be 'in the middle of nowhere', but this part of Aubrey appears to growing by leaps and bounds....several new neighborhoods were under construction and some roads were being widened, making traffic quite heavy whenever we ventured out for meals, etc.
Stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect!! A little out past town so we really appreciated the coffee in the morning. Having the winery onsite was great for evening wine and charcuterie. Would stay here again.
