About the host
Hosted by Dana Twombly
My wife and 2 daughters live in Maine and purchased the boathouse as a vacation/future retirement property. Our intention is to offer weekly rentals to pre qualified professional couples in the summer and also longer term rental to the right person in the winter.
Why they chose this property
The Boathouse boasts one of the best locations in Boothbay Harbor with a owned deep water dock located very close to all downtown Boothbay harbor has to offer. Wake up to the sounds of lobster boats pulling their traps just off the front of the property. Boothbay is such a fun town with so much to do for all ages! We have a lot of wildlife including seals and a resident Bald Eagle.
What makes this property unique
All the furnishings were hand elected by us to fit with the Boat house theme. The view from the property is outstanding. Its orientation is to the east for great sunrises and sunsets are also great off the rear of the house. As an added bonus a urgent care is located in easy walking distance if medical attention should be needed
