Our beautiful mountain retreat is a 4 bedroom private home located in the popular West Vail area. We recently completed a major renovation at our home to include upgraded kitchen and appliances, open living area and new stone fireplace, brand new master bathroom (including rain shower, steam shower), brand new full bathroom and new built-in kids bunk bedroom. All furnishings and lighting have also been updated. Outside, we have added in a new flagstone outdoor entertaining area seating 10 people, a firepit with lounge chairs and a brand new hot tub located on a new deck and all professionally landscaped.

Situated on a ¼ acre and nestled among beautiful pine trees, this home has all the conveniences of a large private, spacious home, yet is located steps (40 yards) to the free Town of Vail bus service that will have you in the Heart of Lionshead in 6 minutes or Vail Village in 12 minutes for skiing, shopping and dining. No car needed!

This home is in a coveted location: 40 yards to the free Town of Vail taking you to Vail Village for skiing, shopping, restaurants, bars and theater, or, in Summer, ride your bike to town along the scenic Gore Creek bikeway (about 10-15 minute bike ride). Donovan's Park and playground is less than a 5 minute walk down the road.

Enjoy the private hot tub or simply relax in front of the brand new gas- burning fireplace after a busy day of skiing. This home is perfect for family gatherings or friends getting together and sleeps up to 10 guests. Four (4) bedrooms, three (3) full bathrooms. Double CONNECTED garage, heated driveway, with parking available for up to 3 cars (1 cars in garage x 2 cars out) – no carrying luggage in the SNOW!!

Our home has a warm, rustic cabin feel with re-finished wood ceilings and beams, brand new flagstone fireplace and stunning new hardwood floors. There are two separate living spaces both with flat-screen TV’s - one for the adults and one for the kids! The main living room has beautiful vaulted wood ceilings with a flagstone gas-burning fireplace. Enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire-place or step outside to enjoy your wine on the large front deck.

The fully equipped kitchen has new appliances, granite counter tops with plenty of counter space and supplies/spices for all your cooking needs and a complete selection of cookware, platters and small appliances. We have everything you would need for a small dinner or a huge feast. Our dining room accommodates up to 10 and bar seating accommodates an additional 8 guests.

Other amenities include new wine fridge, brand new private outdoor hot tub, brand new firepit for smores and outdoor seating area, steam and rain shower in master bathroom, gas BBQ grill, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 DVD players, hi-speed internet (WIFI), Sonos stereo system, books, board games and brand new washer/dryer, sleds and snow shoes for guest use.

We also have items for small children such as a Pak n Play, high chair etc.

We can provide recommendations for: Grocery Service, Massage Service, Ski Butler Service, Ski Lockers, Live in-house acoustic singer and Catering.

We had such an amazing time here while in town for a wedding! We brought our young kids and their grandparents and everyone was so happy and comfortable. The kids LOVED all of the games, toys, etc and the hottub was a bonus! This house is equipped with everything you can think of that you might need. The hosts made sure to leave any baby equipment we might want. The location is perfect to go on walks by the creek (we went in the fall and it was beautiful fall colors). 10/10!!

The Sinclair family home is soo beautiful and fully stocked with anything and everything you need. They worked with us to get into the home as early as possible and even send some local spots to enjoy over our stay. Perfect Mountain Stay

We had a great week in the mountains. The house was perfect for 2 families and we were able to sleep 9 people very comfortably. We took full advantage of the hot tub, shuffleboard and full slate of games offered at the house. Location to Vail/Lionshead/Cascade village was ideal and either a short drive to each or a quick shuttle ride. We loved the house and can't wait to come back to the mountains.

Amazing house and location!

Hollie was a fantastic host. The house was exactly as described. Tons of room for a group of friends visiting Vail for a ski weekend. The house is 40 yards away from the bus stop that comes appx. every 30 mins (at least during the winter) to shuttle to lionshead and vail village base. You can tell the house is well maintained and the owners put alot of work into keeping it that way. Kitchen is huge and great for cooking for a large party of family or friends. We had a private chef come one night and he was able to whip up a great meal here. Overall would say this house is nothing short of perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful home! We booked the home for our family and friends to stay for our daughter's wedding in Vail. The home was exactly as described, very well-maintained and had everything we could possibly need--and then some. We had 12 people so we also booked the apartment on the lower level...it's not mentioned in the post, but I was so happy when I found out they had the extra space so we didn't have to rent two places for our group. The lower level is not connected through the house so you have to go outside and up the stairs...not a big deal, but just something to note. Great communication with the owners throughout the entire booking process. We reached out to the owners when we first arrived because we had a question and they called within 5 minutes. They were so friendly and helpful. The location of the home is perfect. Close to everything including the bus route which was great. We enjoyed the hot tub and steam shower however there was so much snow we didn't get to use the patio/fire pit. Everything in the home worked perfectly and we didn't have a single problem during our stay. My daughter got ready for the wedding there and we have wonderful pictures in the master suite with the large window and snow in the background. It was perfect in every way!

We are the Sinclair family and we live in Denver, CO. We have been coming to the mountains every weekend to ski and we finally decided to just buy our own place! So, in December 2015 we purchased this home. We are an active family and our two young boys are training to be ski racers. We love the Summers in Vail as well, lots of biking, hiking, the scenery is amazing, not to mention all the festivals, art shows and markets.

Why they chose this property

We recently purchased our home in December 2015. We have always wanted a place that is close to Vail, Lionshead (and even Beaver Creek), had all the conveniences of the free bus (yes - it's literally 40 yards walk), yet was a home large enough that we could invite our friends and family so we could have our kids play together, create memories and have fun! This house is the perfect location for us. It's convenient to the free bus, has lots of backyard space for the kids to explore and we can even ride our bikes to Vail in the Summer (in 15 minutes) along the beautiful Gore Creek bike path. We are also close to Gore Creek and Donovan park for the kids to play and enjoy themselves.

What makes this property unique

Close to all activities - Winter and Summer! We have an attached apartment for those extra large family retreats and gatherings - ask about those rates! On the free bus - 4 free buses every hour! Ride your bikes to Vail in 15 minutes in the Summer!
