Le Rayleigh River Retreat est vraiment une expérience et un endroit merveilleux pour passer la nuit. Notre suite d'invité est située sur notre propriété de 1 acre et est totalement votre espace. Profitez de cette suite privée nichée dans une magnifique oasis au bord de la rivière. Profitez de l’étang des koïs tout en vous relaxant sur la terrasse ou promenez-vous jusqu’à la rivière pour vous promener sur la plage ou nager. Il existe également d'innombrables jardins de fleurs et de légumes. Après votre repas, prenez un apéritif au bord de l'étang ou d'un baril de feu.

Beautiful property

Visited here on our way North & because it was so nice, we booked it for the way home as well. So peaceful with the koi fish pond, very quiet & comfortable rooms. Would definitely visit again. Would be a wonderful place to have your wedding!!

Fall Getaway

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Well equipped with everthing you could need as well as thoughtfully designed and decorated. It also has a great garden patio and access to the riverfront.

Amazing!

Karen, Bernie & Timber are wonderful! My brother and I stayed while in town for business - the suite and outdoor area are beautiful. It was so nice to have a place to call “home away from home” while we were in town. I would highly recommend choosing the Rayleigh River Retreat.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet safe and picturesque neighbourhood.

Very well furnished, thoughtfully equipped, clean, with a gorgeous small garden and patio. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Karen's attention to detail is amazing. The beds were also very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful retreat!

We enjoyed our stay so much. We loved the koi pond & firepit! Sitting down along the river was so relaxing. Beautiful flowers everywhere, even fresh flowers on our table. Clean, spotless apartment. Nicely stocked kitchen. Plenty of bath towels. Nice selection of teas. Would love to stay there again. Enjoyed visiting with host & hostess.

Golf Getaway

I stayed here with my 3 brothers on a quick trip to Kamloops. A very clean home, it had everything you need in the kitchen, the coffee bar is amazing, and we made use of the BBQ. Karen was very helpful. Highly recommended!

Staying in a botanic paradise

Absolutely awesome! Beyond description. Hosts were wonderful, the property was a spectacular retreat along the river, all the amenities were of superior quality with so many top notch extras. A dream!

An amazing place, with a super helpful and accommodating host. The garden and outside areas are just beautiful, and access to the river and jetty is magical. Can't recommend highly enough. One if our party (me), isn't a dog lover and Karen kept her beautiful dogs away, upon request, which was great. An awesome place. 10/10.

Amazing

The description on the app was super appealing but the stay ended up being even better. Karen has not missed anything. The unit was so well appointed and comfortable that we would be remiss if we were in the area and didn’t stay there again. 11 out of 10 any day of the week!!

Incredible retreat

Stop scrolling through other listings and book this place. The host Karen is amazing and makes you feel like she really enjoys having you stay at her house. The photos don't do the home justice as the grounds look like Butchart Gardens. The koi pond is just outside your door and makes for a great place to sit. The suite has everything you need and more. Will definitely book again if back in kamloops.

A Charming and Meticulous Gem

We enjoyed our two night stay here and hopefully will be back. Karen is a welcoming host who has decorated a cozy space with such thoughtful attention to color, design, and detail. We loved the coffee/tea bar, taking a nap in the inviting living room, sitting on the floating dock on the river and on the patio by the koi pond, and the comfy beds. Super clean apartment, elevated amenities. Nothing was missed -- lots of tissue boxes, an oil scent diffuser, spa towels, motion sensor nightlights -- you name it! Easy drive into town. Loved the welcome from the dogs Timber and Bernie, too.

Clean and cozy

This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway. Karen was super friendly and clearly took pride in hosting guests. The kitchen had everything you needed plus there was a bbq for cooking outside too. The coffee and tea bar was such a thoughtful touch and was stocked for all tastes. The apartment was meticulously cleaned and decorated with such care. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!

Relaxing oasis getaway

The property is such a gem and Karen goes above and beyond as a host. Incredibly clean and well decorated, the suite had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We enjoyed the garden, lawn and river immensely. Our cat and dog also had a blast. We’re looking forward to staying again when we’re next in the area. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Kamloops/Sun Peaks

Our family (parents + 2 boys: 7yrs and 9yrs) really enjoyed staying at Rayleigh Riverfront Retreat. We used it as base for daily skiing at Sun Peaks (35 minute drive). Host (Karen) very friendly and responsive. As advertised on VRBO. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
