Enjoy all that nature has to offer of the Northwest!
Custom house on the Skykomish river just 20 minutes' drive to Stevens Pass Ski Resort! This custom house will accommodate 10-12 guests comfortably. Two master bedrooms on the main floor. Jack and Jill style for privacy.
Master bedroom number one has a queen size bed, fireplace, and full bathroom with a spa jacuzzi tub. Master bedroom number two has a king size bed, fireplace, and full bathroom with sauna.
Both mastersā€™ have private decks that face the river.
There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor. Bedroom number three has a queen size bed and a futon and a smart TV.
Bedroom number four has a queen size bed and a futon.
The upstairs landing overlooks the living room and dining room below and also has a view of the great outdoors and the Skykomish river!
The open concept main floor has kitchen and dining room, great room with fireplace, and vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling windows facing the river. The main floor has a third half bathroom (powder room).
There is a door off the kitchen to the outside deck that wraps around the front of the house and looks out to the river. Enjoy beautiful views of the Skykomish river while enjoying your outdoor meals on the deck or at the picnic table next to the back yard firepit! We have installed a brand new hot tub on the deck just 50ā€™ from the river and overlooking the park like setting and fire pit!

Chateau Baring guests will have much to explore as the area is home to beautiful hikes, river rafting, fishing, drive to Leavenworth, downhill and cross country skiing, restaurants and more.

We had an absolutely lovely time! The house was amazing and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub everyday. Plenty of firewood for outdoor fires too. Definitely would stay again.

A Great Stay

Stayed at Chateau Baring for a weekend ski trip with friends. The property is gorgeous and we absolutely loved relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the sound of the nearby river after a long day on the slopes. The host was kind, responsive, and accommodating to our large group. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

Really beautiful home that is just as described. There is some noise due to proximity to trains but if windows are closed it is not too loud. The yard is really beautiful, with hot tub as a nice bonus.

Perfect family trip

My family of 7 had a wonderful stay here. Location was excellent with a large backyard, river access, lovely back patio, hot tub and sauna, and e car charger. The kitchen was just big enough to cook in and keep tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house on the Skykomish River. Layout of the house was perfect for two families with kids. Our kids loved the hot tub. Unfortunately, the power went out twice due to a summer storm so we ended up leaving early. Tammy was very responsive throughout the ordeal even though the outages were not her fault. We hope to come stay again!

From the decorated christmas trees to the warm and accessible lodge, our stay at Chateau Baring was 10/10. Tammy was kind, communicative and helpful every step of the way. The amenities were perfect - the hot tub, sauna and fireplaces (indoor and out!) made it all cozy and warm. We had an Excellent stay, and hope to visit again.

Well appointed. The hot tub and firepit were a big hit. The children loved the games. The parents loved the relaxing atmosphere. We were a bit dismayed by the frequent train whistles nearby and the difficulty climbing down the rocks to the river edge. But in all, we had a fun time with the family and felt very comfortable with this property that fit our needs well.

Absolutely love this place!

Everything from beginning to end about our stay was amazing. You can listen to the river all day. The beds were comfortable the kitchen well stocked. The hot tub was a great bonus, after sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmellows. We loved the doggy welcome basket that was left for our dogs. Everything was clean and comfortable and owners were so kind and flexible with check in and check out times. We will definitely be booking a stay again.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful, spacious home. We loved the jacuzzi tub and sauna. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Several outside patio areas and a grill stocked with propane. Right on the river, but the fishing regulations are confusing. The bedrooms are spaced out for plenty of privacy. We loved our stay.

What a perfect cabin weekend

We have stayed at a few cabins in the area and this one is our favorite! The cabin was gorgeous, the grounds were spacious and lovely. The amenities were great, I loved the sauna! The kitchen was stocked with everything one could need and they had a cabinet full of board games and cards to play. The property manager went above and beyond to be accommodating and gracious. A million stars!

The Perfect Getaway

The two nights that my family & I stayed at ChĆ¢teau Baring were nothing short of perfect. From an easy check-in, fully equipped kitchen & grill, to the insanely comfortable beds. Immaculately clean home, even nicer than the photos. The two primary bedrooms were both amazing, perfect for hosting two families w children. The hot tub, sauna, & firepit made our last minute getaway more magical than we couldā€™ve expected. Stopped at the famous Espresso Chalet in Index for coffee - thanks for the recommendation. And I canā€™t forget waking up to the sound of the river & looking at the mountains through the treesā€¦absolutely serene. Will definetly return - thank you so much Tammy!!!

Lovely house.

Thank you so much for opening your house as a vacation rental. Love the layout of the house and the amazing beauty of the woods with a river running right nrhind the property. Was a little disappointed because the posting listed a hot tub, but there was not one. All in all. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who asks. Love this home!

Excellent Rental

I stayed at Chateau Baring for a week, and couldnā€™t have been happier with the rental. The house had everything we needed, including lots of dishes and towels. Being right next to the river was lovely. The jetted tub and sauna were so nice after skiing and hiking. The little welcome package, including a couple of toys for our pet was adorable. Tammyā€™s communication was excellent. I highly recommend this rental if youā€™re going to be in the area.

Clean, well-appointed, modern spot on the Sky River

Great communication with the manager, very clean and modern inside, steps away from the beautiful Skykomish River with tons of hikes and natural beauty nearby. The Sky was closed to fishing to protect the endangered Chinook Salmon but there are plenty of other places in range to fish. No fires either so we had to skip the s'mores around the fire pit. But otherwise a perfect stay.
