Renovated Villa With Stunning Mediterranean Garden

Located on the edge of the stunning Vicentina National Park, Casa Dourada provides a comfortable and relaxing base from which to explore this dramatic and unspoilt corner of the Western Algarve. The property is surrounded by an extensive tiled patio with double door access from all the rooms and has a large, beautiful Mediterranean walled garden offering total privacy. The rear of the house has unspoilt views over the national park with a stunning beach only 5 mins by car. The house is managed by a local agent and comes fully equipped with all bedding, high quality linen and cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is a washing machine,dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD player,Bose Soundlink, high speed internet and a brick garden barbecue. Situated on the edge of Vila do Bispo village, the property is ideal for children as there is very little passing traffic traffic except for an occasional herd of cows. It is an easy 5 minute stroll into the village which has all amenities, including a great fish and fruit market, baker, butcher, petrol station and a Lidl supermarket.

Ubicación perfecta para visitar la zona y casa muy limpia y bien equipada

Casa muy limpia y bien equipada, para pasar largas temporadas con niños. Zona tranquila y muy cerca de playas preciosas casi desiertas, y la posibilidad de hacer surf. Hay un supermercado y el mercado a 5 min andando. Además muy conveniente si lleváis a vuestro perro. Casi todas las playas permiten mascotas y la casa es perfecta. Todo fenomenal.

Pleasant and quiet location.

Very pleasant house. The location is very peaceful. Just a few cows passing by or behind the house. Lot of interesting places, like Benagil Cave, are not far away for doing daily trips. Perfect location for those who like "perceves" which are difficult to find outside Vila do Bispo. ;=D

Das Haus entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Es war sauber, die Betten waren frisch bezogen, die Küche hatte alles was man zum Kochen braucht (Gasherd mit Backofen, Geschirrspüler, sämtliches Geschirr, Besteck und alle Gerätschaften, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach etc.). Gefallen hat uns auch der eingewachsene Garten mit tollem Grill, die Sitzecke auf der Terrasse, die bequemen Liegen und wenn die Sonne am Abend auf der Westseite des Hauses stand, könnte man auch dort an einem Tisch mit Stühlen die Wärme noch genießen, indem man einfach zur Küchentür rausspazierte.Gute Waschmaschine ist auch vorhanden. Manko: Obgleich es ein großes Bad mit Wanne gab, konnten wir die Dusche, die zum zweiten Zimmer gehört, nicht benutzen, weil es aus dem Ausguss müffelte. Bei geöffnetem Fenster war es ok, nachts musste man dieses wegen der Mücken jedoch schließen, und da im Durchgang zur Dusche keine Tür ist riecht es auch im Zimmer. Lösung: Entweder Tür und/oder ordentlich den Abfluß durchspülen. Wir denken, das läßt sich leicht beheben.

Sehr ruhig und angenehm!

Wir, Familie mit zwei grösseren Kindern, haben das angenehme Ferienhaus am Rande von Vila do Bispo sehr genossen. Das Haus ist geräumig, gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Aus der Küche schaut man direkt in die Landschaft/Westseite, Sonnenuntergang, vor dem Haus ist ein herrlicher Garten, wo man unbeobachtet sein kann. Das Haus liegt an einer unbefestigten Strasse, in den Nachbarhäusern wohnen Portugiesen. Die Stimmung ist ländlich, Hundegebell und Hähne am Morgen kommen vor, Gänsegeschnatter, Taubengurren, ebenso Mücken und Grillenzirpen. Kein Autolärm. Der Lidl ist ca. 300 m entfernt, die lokale Markthalle mit Obst, Gemüse, Fisch 200 m. Vila do Bispo ist wenig touristisch, dennoch gibt es zwei gute Restaurants am Ort und mehrere Bars, Bushaltestelle, Bank, Bäcker, Metzger, Lidl, Polizeistation und einen super Surfshop im Gewerbegebiet. An den Stränden ist man mit dem Auto schnell, auch dort gibt es Bars, Surfschulen. Im Herbst kann es an der Westküste sehr neblig sein, der Nebel kann auch in den Ort ziehen.

What makes this property unique

This property is set in a peaceful location, close to beaches and one of the few properties within the National Park. Superb views from the rear of the house over rolling hills and pristine countryside. This is the closest rental property to the famous Castelejo beach.
