Una hermosa villa construida en un lugar elevado con hermosa montaña y vistas al mar junto con la tranquilidad del campo. Dentro de unos pocos minutos a pie se encuentra el pequeño pueblo de Stavros de la Municipalidad Achilleion. Esta área, que es al margen del turismo, ofrece algunos maravillosos paseos donde se puede ver más vistas únicas de la isla. Esta propiedad cuenta con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones relajantes y tiene la ventaja de estar a sólo 20 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Corfú y el aeropuerto. Lovely villa

The villa is spacious, comfortable, very well-equipped, and with a gorgeous terrace/pool area (with its own fridge!) Jane and Alex could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We had a lovely time, and would happily go back. Thank you!

Lovely relaxing holiday

This is a large villa set over three floors in a quiet location only a 15 minute drive from Corfu town. The views are fantastic from all three terraces, with an inviting swimming pool and a wonderful garden, with plants and flowers all the way around the villa. The owners did their best to make us feel at home, and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and beaches. I would also recommend Yaliskari beach and Yaliskari tavern a 25 minute drive away. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic Villa in beautiful mountains with breathtaking views.

Fantastic spacious extremely well catered for Villa. The views are better than the photos. Alex and Jane were so attentive and professional regarding any issues we raised. Lovely hosts. We loved returning from unspoilt beaches to relax and take in the peace of the mountains in the villa. We ate 3 times at the local Taverna. Cheap and delicious Greek food. We would definitely recommend to families or groups of friends who want rural beauty and a very high standard villa. Thank you so much Alex and Jane

Wonderful, private villa with spectacular view

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Jane and Alex's villa. It is very private and has the most gorgeous view. The house is comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Jane and Alex are very gracious and hugely kind hosts. When our daughter fell and cut her chin and needed a doctor, Alex arranged an appointment and then accompanied us to ensure we found it easily, and made sure the doctor looked after us properly! The information they provide in the house is very helpful, giving ideas of where to go, eat, shop, and they even give step by step pictures helping guests to find their way in the small Corfu roads. We absolutely loved this house, will definitely be back, and highly recommend it!

A real home from home with amazing scenery and great pool!

We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from Jane and Alex, the villa was just perfect for us, with all the amenities needed for a family of five and lots of thoughtfull touches which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We all enjoyed the pool which was crystal clear and has great views accross the island (and also has a shower for rinsing off) and the games room with its open balcony makes for a perfect evening under the stars with the sounds of wildlife all around. We found the villa location just right for us, we had a hire car and found it easy to visit nearby beeches, restaurants and Corfu town. Parking our hire car in the villa garage to stay nice and cool! Alex and Jane were so helpful, leaving contact numbers for us if we needed (which we didn’t) and they have a wealth of advice and information about the island and places to visit. Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

Gorgeous and unique home which provided a lovely place for a holiday

Jane and Alex's Villa is a true oasis with a feeling of peace, space, comfort and breathtaking views over the pool to the hills and sky all the way down to Corfu Town, the sea, and the hills of Albania beyond. Jane and Alex are attentive and kind hosts who made themselves available for any questions or concerns but also gave us a complete feeling of safety and privacy while occupying their lovely home. There are all easy-to-use mod cons, quality linens, household items and tools for their guests' use. Tea, milk and fruit were thoughtfully provided for our arrival and there is a guest guidebook full of helpful tips and suggestions to enjoy the immediate surroundings as well as for the entire island. The pool is especially well-maintained and easy to enjoy. The location is ideal for visiting many island destinations and a relief to return to each time. Our entire family loved our first trip to Corfu and promise to return!

A Perfect Family Getaway in the Heart of Corfu

Fantastic holiday!!

We have just come back from the most wonderful 2 weeks staying at Jane and Alex’ beautiful home. It really is the most idyllic spot, and I think our comments really just follow previous reviews, as it really was faultless. The views from the property are breathtaking and with the different terraces on each level, we enjoyed meals at different levels each day whilst watching the swallows swooping by day and bats by night, listening to the sound of the cicadas in the trees and the goat bells ringing down the hill. Our first days visit to the bakery was one we will never forget, stepping back in time watching the baker drawing these exquisite fresh loaves from his wood fired bread oven along with freshly made Greek pastries, the spinach ones are particularly recommended! We also loved our visits to Stekis taverna, just a 2 minute stroll down the road, where we always received a really warm welcome and enjoyed sitting watching the world go by. The property is in such a great location and very easy to get to some fantastic sandy beaches on the west coast. Our favourites were Agios Gordis and a rather off the beaten track one at Kanouli, both had the most amazing turquoise blue seas and brilliant for snorkelling. Jane and Alex were the most fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming and literally had everything covered at the house you could possibly wish for. They were so happy to help with anything and had lots of advice on where to go, and it really was an absolute pleasure to meet them, and enjoy a beer with Alex by the pool! The swimming pool is absolutely spotlessly clean and looks amazing at night when lit up. We loved all the games upstairs and our daughter I think had exhausted every card in Articulate and Tension by the end of the holiday! 😊 We hope to return in the future and honestly, we could not recommend this property any more highly, it has been difficult coming home!! Schönes Haus mir überragender Aussicht

Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter und manche Einrichtungsgegenstände sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen es ist aber nichts kaputt und alles funktioniert. Der Pool ist einfach ein Traum und für niemanden einsehbar. Ein Mietwagen ist zwingend notwendig aber die Lage ist relativ Zentral gelegen so dass man z.B. in die Stadt 30 Minuten fährt, oder nach Paleokastritsa 45 Minuten. Die Besitzer selber wohnen in der Stadt, sind immer zu erreichen und super Hilfsbereit.

Fabulous villa and a wonderful welcome!

As a family of 4 with two teenage boys we found this villa to exceed all our hopes. It is extremely spacious and well maintained. There are lovely views from all floors and the pool area is perfect. Alex and Jane were helpful before the holiday even began; providing details about hire car companies and the best places for boat hire. They were there to welcome us on arrival and they even came to say goodbye at the end of the holiday. There was a fantastic welcome pack, in fact don’t have any last minute panics that you might have forgotten to pack enough books or toiletries - Alex and Jane have thought of everything! You will definitely enjoy a holiday in this villa!

Lovely mountainside property with great views

A really lovely house, with great amenities (TV, Netflix), air-conditioning in the bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen with ample dishwasher tablets, bin bags, herbs etc (which is unusual but very welcome). Situated up the mountain, about 10 mins drive in quiet isolated splendour, Local bakery 5 mins up road. Easy access to both sides of island. Alex and Jane very helpful in putting us in touch with boat hire company in Corfu town (a lot cheaper than the one we found in Benitses).

A characterful Greek villa

We had a wonderful holiday in this comfortable villa which felt like a home away from home. It was great for our family as the teenagers could have their own space as the villa itself was over 3 floors, not counting the pool area. Fantastic views, different from each terrace. Location was perfect, a lovely breeze on a hot day. We loved the bakery which was just a short walk up the road and had fresh warm bread and pastries for breakfast each morning. Lovely country walking from the front door with a walkers cafe en route. Jane and Alex were so helpful to us before and during our stay. We can’t thank them enough.

Parfaite villa à Corfou

Très belle villa dans un petit village de montagne facile d'accès. Jane et Alex sont des hôtes vraiment charmants. Alex veille discrètement mais personnellement à ce que tout soit parfait et est toujours prêt à vous aider pour quoique ce soit. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente comme chez soi dans cette très belle maison très bien aménagée et très propre où tout fonctionne parfaitement (wifi, climatisation, nombreux appareils ménagers, TV (en Grec!), lecteur DVD...) . Plein d'attentions sont disséminées dans toute la maison ( frigidaire bien garni à l'arrivée, plein de produits de toilette dans la salle de bain, produits anti-moustiques, lessives etc...).La literie est très bien. La maison est sur 4 niveaux donc pas mal d'escaliers à parcourir... En fait il n'y a qu'une seule vraie salle de bain mais 3 WC. Il y a un garage intérieur mais nous avons préféré utiliser la place réservée à l'extérieur beaucoup plus commode. Les parties extérieures sont superbes. le jardin est très joli et très bien entretenu. La piscine est extra, jolie et très propre avec une douche à côté . Les transats sont parfaits! La vue est magnifique!!! . La plage la plus proche (Benitses) est sans intérêt pour se baigner, les plages situées à l'Ouest sont toutes à environ 30 minutes de routes assez sinueuses ( comme presque partout à Corfou!) mais sont superbes et l'ambiance varie de l'une à l'autre. Le GPS est quasi obligatoire à Corfou où les routes sont très mal indiquées. Le petit restaurant situé à 2 km est très sympa et très "local". L'excursion d'une journée en bateau sur les îles de Paxos et Antipaxos vaut le coup.

La giusta scelta

La casa è molto bella, i nostri bambini non volevano mai uscire. Piscina, sala giochi , stanze accoglienti e ben tenute. Abbiamo apprezzato anche i dintorni, belle colline, persone gentili. Da li abbiamo visitato tutta l'isola in macchina, ma ogni volta che tornavamo a casa era un piacere. Alex e Jane ospiti gentili, premurosi e mai invadenti, penso proprio che prima o poi ci ritorneremo.

Beautiful house which was spotlessly clean. The best pool we've ever had - very clean.

Alex was a fantastic host - very kind and helpful and keen for us to feel at home. He had left fruit, cheese, milk, bread and wine for our arrival which was great as we arrived late in the evening. The village was quiet and had a traditional bakery nearby which we loved. We enjoyed eating on the different terraces and found it easy to cook as the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Having the table tennis was a bonus and we enjoyed playing board games in the evening. We were sorry not to have met Jane but hopefully next time we stay we will! All directions we were given were clear and correct and the villa is easy to get to from airport . Thank you Alex and Jane for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Amazing views, great villa, fantastic hosts

This is a wonderful villa built on three levels, it is very spacious and well presented. Outside is a great pool and sunbathing area, with the most stunning view beyond and there are sun terraces on all levels of the villa to take advantage of it. The games area at the top (with table tennis and football) was a great hit with my youngest. Jane and Alex were really nice, eager to help with directions to places to visit and even posted back some things we accidentally left behind! Definitely the best villa we've booked with owners direct so far.

A simply stunning place to stay. Amazing views and spacious, tasteful, well-equipped villa. Superb!

Jane and Alex could not have been more welcoming hosts to their beautiful villa. The rural setting meant we had a really authentic Greek experience away from the resorts but easy to get to lots of places when we wanted. A spacious house, with incredible views, and a gorgeous interior. They had thought of everything to make the stay wonderful and were on hand if we needed anything. Great for kids with the pool and the games room. Very clean and well kept. Thank you both for such a wonderful holiday! As you know, it was a difficult time for the family and you ensured that we had a peaceful and relaxing break. Hope we can visit again.

this villa was fantastic & way above the mark for a holiday villa just perfect.there was everything you could wish for here. Beautiful home with amazing views

5 of us had a perfect week in Corfu staying at this house. Directions to the property were easy to follow and we were met by Alex at the house just an hour after landing. Even though we arrived late at night, Alex was there to meet us and show us around which was much appreciated. There were even a few essentials in the fridge so we didn't have to venture out on our first night. As we arrived in the dark, the view the following morning was breathtaking, perched in a prime spot we had unspoilt views to Corfu town and over the sea to Albania. We spent the first day settling in and relaxing around the lovely pool watching the kids have fun with the lilos. We spent the week alternating between pool and beach and then eating out either in Corfu town or one of the many beach Tavernas. We found some beautiful and quiet beaches, some recommended by Alex so make sure you ask for tips. The house has everything you'd ever need for a lovely family holiday. My lasting memory will be sitting on the roof terrace watching the sun go down over the mountain. If we come back to Corfu, we will probably stay here again.

Paradise in the hills

Family holiday 6 people 2 children. Pre arrival Alex & Jane were informative and sent us easy to follow directions from the airport to the villa. On arrival we met Alex who showed us around & left us a key, Alex and Jane had gone Above and beyond all expectations, leaving mosquito deterrents in all rooms, food and drinks, towels & even down to the little things like shower gels, soaps, sunscreens & a really informative information pack on the area the wildlife and the best places to visit, the villa was clean and well maintained the pool was clean and was cleaned during our visit. We have never experienced a more relaxing holiday :) the house, pool, garden & wildlife we experienced will never be forgotten, it was a joy to wake up each morning to beautiful butterflies & swallows drinking from the pool the children never complained of being bored as the pool and games room kept them thoroughly entertained & the presence of ships not only in view from the pool but also in pictures around the villa kept our oldest boy captured. we could not fault the property in any way & it is clear that a lot of love has gone into the villa, leaving was the only sad time and we will look forward every day to one day return.

The best holiday..paradise!!

We stayed here as a family of 6. We were met by Alex the owner of the villa on arrival, who was very welcoming and showed us around, and also left some fresh food and drink for us. Every single part of the villa was immaculate and just beautiful, even better than the pictures!! We were just overwhelmed by the amazing views, and just the villa itself was stunning! We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool, and admiring the views! We also had barbeques in the garden which was lovely. The bedrooms were lovely and clean and very cool throughout the villa, which we needed as it was lovely and hot when we stayed. The owner Alex told us about some of the great things to do on the island, and helped us to arrange a visit to a lovely restaurant and boat trip, he also left a great information guide for us to use. He was always on the other end of the phone if we had any questions, and also came and waved us goodbye when we left..such a brilliant host!! We absolutely loved Corfu and the stay in this villa just made it even more perfect..we couldn't wait to get back to it each evening!! We would definately recommend staying here and we are already planning on when to return! Thank you so much for an amazing stay and for helping us to build some great memories! Wonderful Time!!!

What a lovely holiday! The Villa surpassed my expectations and it was a joy to stay there! The Villa has everything our large family needed: Spacious living area, Large fully equipped kitchen, ample bathrooms and laundry room with washing machine etc. The Villa is centrally located on the island situated close (but not too close) to the airport and the main town of “Kerkira” but all areas of Corfu are quickly accessible. Jane’s information booklets and guidebooks were on hand to help us discover more about our holiday destinations. There are three verandas to choose from providing great views, a large game room, well maintained garden, pool and BBQ. There is a well-stocked library and large collection of DVDs if you are tired of “holidaying” and just wish to veg out in a real home-from-home! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Alex(Greek) and Jane(English) are the owners of this lovely spacious villa which nestles in the picturesque hills close to Corfu Town. The villa was built as a family home where time could be spent away from the mass tourism and somewhere to truly relax in beautiful natural surroundings. Alex has recently retired as a General Manager of one of the island's largest hotels and fully understands the importance of always trying to offer complete guest satisfaction.
