Villa con piscina privada y hermoso mar ya la montaña

La posición ligeramente elevada de la villa permite vistas panorámicas de las montañas Besparmak al sur y vistas al mar, al norte. Bellapais Abbey y la antigua fortaleza de la colina de San Hilarión están iluminados por la noche y claramente visible desde nuestras terrazas y balcones.

La terraza cubierta alberga una gran mesa de comedor de granito al aire libre, con capacidad para 8, y es donde la mayoría de las comidas tienen lugar. Al lado de la terraza es un gran patio con vistas al jardín y la piscina y es una zona ideal para que los niños jueguen.

La extensa zona ajardinada se ve hermosa todo el año y es administrado por un equipo de jardineros que asisten a la trama dos veces a la semana. Al este de la villa es un huerto que contiene una variedad de cítricos y otras frutas. Los sabores de frutas deliciosas recogidos directamente de los árboles! El jardín está amurallada con un montón de espacio de estacionamiento. Una barbacoa de Turquía, cerca de la piscina es un equipamiento muy popular. Hay iluminación en la noche a lo largo de la pared frontal de la villa, en el patio y terraza y el interior de la piscina.

El exterior de la propiedad se ve impresionante con la pieza central es el 11 m. por 5 m piscina de desbordamiento. Cuenta con escalera romana que llevan en la parte menos profunda de la piscina ofrece un fácil acceso para los jóvenes y los ancianos. Hay pasos separados hacia abajo en la parte más profunda. Una ducha al aire libre está situado junto a la piscina. Las amplias terrazas alrededor de la piscina con tumbonas, sombrillas y mesas laterales asegura que hay mucho espacio para las familias numerosas.

Dentro de la villa dispone de aire acondicionado y calefacción de agua con paneles solares. Copia de seguridad de calentador de agua eléctrico está disponible si se proporcionan ventiladores necesarios y eléctricos. Calefacción central está instalado para el invierno permite.

La gran sala de estar y comedor, con una mesa de madera con capacidad 8, tiene 5 juegos de puertas que dan a la terraza, patio y piscina. La cocina de lujo Siemens tiene un gas y cocina eléctrica con la unidad extractora, lavavajillas, microondas y nevera / congelador. De la cocina es el cuarto de servicio con un gran lavabo, lavadora, plancha y tabla de planchar y el espacio para la silla alta y otro equipamiento para bebés. Se proporciona una gran cuna de viaje.

En la planta baja tenemos 2 dormitorios, uno con una cama king size y baño con ducha / WC y el otro una habitación doble con ducha / aseo a las afueras de la puerta.

Arriba tenemos el dormitorio principal con una cama súper king size, vestidor con caja fuerte y baño / ducha / cuarto de baño aseo con lavabos dobles y vistas de las montañas y el mar. Hay un segundo dormitorio con una cama king size y baño con ducha / WC.
Un balcón grande, se accede desde la segunda habitación del segundo piso, con preciosas vistas de las montañas y el mar desde todos los lados de la villa. Un segundo balcón se accede desde el dormitorio principal.
Todos los dormitorios tienen amplia armarios empotrados.

Los pisos de mármol y grabados de pared de estilo en todo, crean una sensación de lujo desvergonzado.

Beautiful villa in a great location

This is a fabulous villa - very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are large and tastefully decorated, the pool is also a good size and very well maintained. Great views both to the front and rear of the villa. We have stayed in a few villas in Northern Cyprus, all have been very good but this is without doubt the best. Communications from the owner were spot on and all our queries were answered in a very timely manner. Highly recommended

Renting the villa was straight forward no problem at all! We arrived at the villa in the early hour's of Sunday 1st September 2019, after a long day we all went straight to our respective rooms and went to bed, When we eventually got up we had a look around the villa and boy what a lovely villa it is, everything you need is on hand the only thing we had to do was some shopping, it is also well maintained, out the veranda door into the swimming pool which was a welcome relief from the sun, there is quite a bit of land surrounding the villa which is maintained by a gardener. sitting round the patio table watching the sun set is a must, bright red sun slowly disappearing out of sight, All in all a fantastic villa well maintaine

A fabulous holiday

We have just had a fantastic stay at Villa Joanna, the villa is huge and so well equipped. We were a family of 4 and had so much space. The WiFi was very good (important with two teenagers!) Sitting out on the terrace looking out across the sea was just the perfect place to relax. The location is so quiet, the pool is beautiful and really well maintained. The owners had kindly left us some provisions when we arrived, which were very much appreciated as we arrived quite late at night. We can’t wait to return as we had the loveliest holiday in this fabulous villa. There are some great places to eat just a short drive away, and the supermarket is only 5 minutes down the hill. We hired a car from Karapasha- they were great, very good value and the car was waiting for us at the villa. They also did our airport transfers. I can’t recommended this villa highly enough- communication with the owners was excellent. This really is a hidden gem.

Villa Joanna 28th August to 11th September 2022

This was our 2nd holiday in Villa Joanna and it was just as we remembered the first. The villa is situated in a superb area just off the back road between ozankoy and catalkoy, its about a 3 minute drive up to the villa once you turn off the road, so you will need a car. Once inside the villa there is plenty of open space. There are two bedrooms upstairs one of which has a safe, the other two are down stairs. one of the room's downstairs is just a small one with two single beds. The living room is very spacious and comfortable, Then the dining area and kitchen which have everything you need to walk in and prepare meals if it's not too hot! From the dining room the patio and swimming pool can be accessed, the patio has a table and chairs where you can chill out and when it gets too hot jump into the swimming pool which is maintained to a high standard. There are garden's on all sides of the villa which again are maintained to a high standard. To round off the day you can watch the sun set and what a beautiful sight not to be missed

Lovely villa and pool with amazing views

This is one of the best villas' we have stayed in Cyprus. The views around the villa are amazing, and the medieval abbey in Bellapais can also be seen, especially when it is lit up at night. The villa is in a quite neighbourhood at the top of an housing estate, The villa it self is very large and spacious with a large size swimming pool. It was all good and we would love to stay there again. Highly reccomended.

Ideal for our family reunion

Comfortable and well thought out villa, with all that could be required for a pleasant base near enough to Kyrenia but in an elevated and fairly affluent residential setting. Location is good, from the point of view of (relative) privacy, but building work on the adjacent plot started at 7.30 am most days, and coupled with a few very vocal dogs, this often interrupted/cut short sleep time. The pool is nice, but much colder than the sea. Due to a moderate wind at times, a lot of leaf debris accumulated in the water due to an adjacent tree, and this needed dealing with daily (The pool maintenance contract is a twice weekly visit) The kitchen and bathroom fittings were clearly of a high spec in their day, but are now looking a little tired. We did spend some time cleaning in these areas on arrival, as well as putting most of the crockery and glassware through the dishwasher. That said, we appreciated the spaciousness and layout of the villa, particularly the options for both sun and shade outside. The chilled water dispenser is very welcome. We used the BBQ on 2 occasions, and it worked fine. Overall, we were very happy with Villa Joanna, and were glad that we chose it.

Fantastic Spacious Comfortable Villa!

Villa Joanna was a lovely spot to spend a week. The booking process was easy with loads of information provided via email in plenty of time before our stay. The communication was excellent when in Northern Cyprus also as the Property Manager popped over twice to check all was well. The villa is lovely, very spacious and very clean. It has everything you'd need and added bonuses such as a water dispenser, air conditioning in all rooms, a lovely outside terrace with wonderful views and a large and again, very clean, pool. We spent our days lazing around in and out of the pool enjoying the BBQ for all meals and the outside shower to cool off. A short drive gets you into Kyrenia which has a multitude of great restaurants and the coastal road is well worth exploring to visit castles, abbeys and spend a night on the beach looking for turtles (we saw them!) We know a few people who live in the area and they commented that Villa Joanna was above the typical standard of villa they had seen - and we could see why. You won't be disappointed.

It was great!!!

We booked this lovely house at the End of Oktober 2018 and spent a really great holiday there. It is a very nice house! Lot of space and a wonderfull private pool! We enjoyed staying there very much! Thank you for the breakfast we found in the fridge when we arrived! This was very kind of you. Everything was clean and in a good condition! The veranda was very nice and at night we enjoyed sitting near by the pool. One of the 4 bedrooms was very huge with a big bathroom and a special room for cloth. The other 2 bedroms were big als well with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is big and has all the staff you need. Everything was perfekt!!! The contact with the owner was very friendly and helpfull! Perfekt house for hollidays with a nice montain- and seaview! The surrounding is quiet and nice. Thank you very much!

A lovely villa

We were delighted with Villa Joanna, it was exactly as advertised and what we hoped for;it is clean, airy & spacious. We were a group of 6 across 3 generations and everybody loved the villa. It has a very well equipped kitchen (not that we used it, the restaurants in the area are great and such good value). The pool and outdoor area we also clean with good furnishings. Pool a bit nippy in mid October though! There are lovely views to the sea from the back and we were able to sit on the veranda and watch a spectacular lightning storm roll in one evening. Barbara put us in touch with a local car hire company who also did our airport transfers, a seven seater arrived with 45 minutes of us getting to the villa at that was about 8pm. So: Do use the car hire company she recommends. Do use Mustafa to pick you up and run you around in the evening, he is a lovely guys and very reasonable. As others have said his English isn't great but I Whatsapped Tahir from the car hire company who arranged our pick ups with Mustafa after that the restaurant will call him if you give him your number when you need picking up. Do eat out; Errols, Eminem locally were excellent & authentic & Niazi's in Kyrenia for a full kebab shouldn't be missed. Do pay the little extra for wifi, Northern Cyprus is not in the EU & Roaming charges will kill you. Do go to St Helarion Castle the views are spectacular. No don't's really. We had a great time and if we return to this part of the world would definitely book Villa Joanna. Thanks Barbara The Lee's

Perfect place for friends to spend Quality Time Together

Six of us Friends have recently returned from 2 weeks at Villa Joanna.It is the perfect place to unwind and spend Quality Time together.The Villa has everything to make your stay stress free and has all the comforts of home.We did very little apart from eating drinking and relaxing,but you are near Many place of interest.( Bellapais Abbey,Kyrenia,with the Medieval Castle,Turtle Beach,Golf Course at Esentepe ) to name just a Few.You are just a 10 minute car ride from shops and restaurants.Our favourites were Errols and Five Finger Restaurants in Ozankoy Village.And The Kitchen on the Main Coast Road. You do need a Car and it takes a while to get your bearings and find your way back to the Villa.On the first night it took us over 35 minutes to find our way back to Villa.We had visions of having to sleep in the car,but it was all good fun.The pool was a focal point of our holiday,it was kept very clean by the pool man who came several times during our stay .The Garden and orchard were beautiful and they were cared for to perfection by the same pool man.We would have no hesitation in recommending to everyone and would love to return.

Perfect villa in a perfect location

This is the second time we have stayed at villa Joanna. Everything about the villa and it's location is perfect. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and beaches. This is my 7th year in this area and will be heading back again next year. Can't wait

Beautiful villa!

We loved Villa Joanna! Wonderfully appointed and comfortable - a real home from home feeling. Dramatic location when the storms rolled in from the mountains behind but the view of the sea remained sunny. A car is essential and Karapasha looked after us well. Would recommend the house without reservation.

Nothing less than 5*

Amazing holiday right from day one, 2 weeks of glorious weather just a little chilly at night (well it was March), we could not get over the views, mountains one window sea the other. Car hire is essential after getting lost the first few days finding our way back to villa I solved it by using compass on phone to get coordinates input them into sat nav set as home job done. We used Karapasha for car hire reasonable prices 2 weeks hire and transfers to and from Larnaca £290 well worth it, car was waiting at Villa on arrival can't ask for more than that great service. Ozankoy 25 minute walk and a great English run bar called Bar33 The Old Mill where they do a great Sunday roast with quiz nights and disco during week. Our favourite restaurant in Kyrenia was 6 Brothers just on the edge of harbour great traditional atmosphere and amazing fresh fish caught daily meal for 2 and drinks about £20. In the evenings we used Mustafa a local guy to transport us to and from Kyrenia and what a gentleman always prompt just tell him what time you want picking up and he is there waiting both ways, you will find his number in the blue information book. Honestly can't say nothing bad about it.........Enjoy

took some time to find it . but everyone enjoyed our stay .would love to return later in the year .

The villa is stunning..well laid out .great views . All rooms had toilet/shower . Two upper rooms had balcony's. One of the ground floor rooms lead to pool ..the other room had two single beds but was next to outside water pump which was extremely noisy.and loud ?. We had a problem with hot water but was quickly sorted (thanks ) overall it was a good and comfy stay .

Fantastic villa in a stunning location

We stayed at villa Joanna with friends for 2 week . The villa was in a fantastic location with a beautiful view. The villa itself was very clean and spacious ,well equipped and catered for all your needs. It had a really good sized swimming pool which was cleaned twice a week during our stay. Around the pool was more than enough sunbeds for everyone. It has a big Barbaque which we used frequently and also a lovely large table and chairs outside which we use all the time. All bedrooms apart from one were all ensuite but the one that didn't have ensuite had a toilet and shower room right next door. We also ate out and there are lots of restaurants in the local area. We can't wait to come back hopefully next year 😊

I was brought up in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. My father worked for the British Government when Cyprus was a British Colony.
My husband and I now live in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands. We have 2 children, a son and a daughter and 4 grandchildren. My husband is retired, but I still tutor Mathematics.
We are both keen tennis and golf players and I play at two bridge clubs.
We have had both cats and dogs over the years, but as we travel quite a lot we have decided not to have any more just now.

When we decided to buy a property abroad it was always going to be in Cyprus. As I lived for much of my childhood in Cyprus I have a great affection for it. We chose Ozankoy which is just outside Kyrenia as I remember as a child going over the mountains to Kyrenia and the sea most weekends. In those days it took an hour and a half , but now with the new road it just takes 25 mins. The particular location for Villa Joanna was chosen for its views of the sea and mountains and its location near Kyrenia and the sea with it's beaches. Villa Joanna was named after my daughter.
