Very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Koutsounada; it really is somewhere you can just relax, in your own space, with no need to stray beyond the beach unless you really want to. Like you, we seldom bother with a hire car these days, as we found we were making so little use of them. Taking a boat or a taxi to neighbouring bays is usually quite enough exploration for us! Swimming in the sea and snorkelling is such a joy isn't it?

Thanks for these lovely words Kerri. Erimitis is indeed a wonderful natural habitat of immense natural beauty with untouched lakes, hidden pebble beaches and ancient trees - we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep! There are local preservation efforts to protect the unique flora and fauna. Long may it remain a safe haven for the wildlife, and for the public to enjoy.

So gratifying to hear that you appreciated all that Koutsounada and Avlaki bay has to offer. Welcome back anytime!

Delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay at Koutsounada. Sorry about the external cushions - we do aim to upgrade them pretty regularly, but it's hard to keep track of how they are used when we're not there. Many thanks for the helpful feedback.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Koutsounada. Like you we appreciate the proximity to the spectacular beach, and the wonderful tavernas. Thank you for your kind words.

We are very happy to hear that the villa lived up to your expectations of a Greek experience. The location is sensational isn’t it? We never tire of the place.

So happy to hear that it didn’t disappoint after a decade’s absence!

What a fabulous description of your experience of our lovely house and its environs! The 'soundtrack of crickets and birds' is so evocative, and something we miss when we go early or late in the season. So glad you had a relaxing time and enjoyed your stay.

Happy to hear that all went well at Koutsounada after your very adventurous sailing trip!

Thanks for these kind words Mark; delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. The seclusion of the house, with its proximity to the beach and tavernas, is what we appreciate when all we want to do is relax with friends and family. As you say, exploring the island is an optional extra!

Many thanks for your warm words, Chris, and for taking the time to write them. We were very happy to hear that you all enjoyed your stay at Koutsounada. After all the bureaucracy required to get to Corfu in these Covid times, a restful holiday feels well-deserved, doesn’t it? Glad that the beach and taverna didn’t disappoint too. Keep well, and thanks again.

Great to hear that everything went smoothly!

So glad that you were able to appreciate all that Corfu has to offer, and that you enjoyed staying in Koutsounada. It sounds like you were impressively energetic in all your explorations of the area - you put us to shame! It’s such a treat having the beach such a short stroll away, with a wonderful taverna on hand for lazy lunches, isn’t it?

So happy to hear you had a relaxing stay and enjoyed all the local amenities. By the way, Yiannis, at Cavo Barbaro, was very complimentary about you as a family! We followed you into the house, so you were clearly fresh in his mind.

We were delighted to hear that your holiday of 'two halves' was a success. We often do the same with our family and friends, as it's always fun to experience the holiday from different perspectives. We have never been to Kima, so will definitely try it out next time we are over; many thanks for the recommendation, and for your kind words.

Many thanks for your kind words Alison. Delighted to hear that you all enjoyed your stay at Koutsounada, especially after all the uncertainty about whether you would actually be able to travel or not. Pottering around the coast in a boat, stopping off for a drink, food and swim is an idyllic summer pastime isn't it? Just ambling down to the taverna is also blissful - glad you got to enjoy both.

Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay in Koutsounada, and that you managed to get out and about a little by boat. We are very lucky having Cavo Barbaro on our doorstep - like you, we always seem to end up eating there, despite our very best intentions to eat in! I think Fotis and Kallina produce some of the best food on the island.

We are so happy to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your stay in our house. I’m glad you managed to find a way to bring back provisions - it can be quite difficult without a car. There is a supermarket in Sinies which will deliver - too late to tell you that now, I know; sorry! Glad you appreciated the pool and the beach - both are very special we think. Many thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review.

Thank you so much for these lovely, kind words. We are hugely gratified that you continue to love staying in Koutsounada, even five years on from your first stay. As you know, we love it too, and try to make adjustments and improvements every year. It’s great that Avlaki beach remains relatively undiscovered, and that it remains largely untouched by commercialism. Long may that last!

Glad to hear that all 8 of you enjoyed your stay in Koutsounada, taking advantage of all the house and location have to offer. As you say, the short walk to the beach is such a bonus - even more so in the height of the summer.
