The Villa is exactly as it is described and as shown in the Photos. Spiros was brilliant. Prompt communication, answering all our questions and great recommendations re places to visit and restaurants. He even went and got my son a Olympos Kerkyra football top. The road up to the villa is steep and windy but not difficult and the views are worth it. This is a lovely part of Corfu and a great villa. Would definitely return.

Unforgettable views from this luxurious villa

We loved staying in this beautiful, comfortable villa with breathtaking views. And I appreciated the great communication from our host, Spiros, both before and during the stay. Getting to Corfu from California took an entire day, and winding up tiny hillside roads was a little nerve-wracking at first, but it was totally worth it!

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful spot! Great for families!

This is such an amazing holiday and spiros was so helpful and easy to talk to. Everything was exactly as advertised but even the pictures can’t fully capture the beauty of those views!! Everything was clean and tidy and we had an amazing time on our first family holiday! I can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful villa with incredible sea view!

We spent a week at villa Genna. The photos don’t really do it justice. The sea views are stunning and the location just above Kalami bay is great. Super close to Agni with several lovely Tavernas as well as the White House in Kalami. Our host was great and accommodating of additional requests. Our 5 year and 3year spent most of their time in the pool which was perfect temperature. The outside dinning area also works very well as by BBQ and kitchen so most nights we ate at the villa. Would highly recommend.

Simply Idyllic

We had previously stayed in kalami and decided to return and chose this villa based on it's beautiful views and the peace and quiet we needed. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Spiros who showed us around. It didn't take us long to unpack and before long we were relaxing and enjoying the stunning view and solitude. The Villa was well presented and clean,spacious and equipped with what we needed. Our week stay was perfect, great comfort solitude and a view to die for. Nothing was too much trouble for Spiros he is the perfect host and we hope to return again next year.

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved Villa Genna ! It’s a beautiful Villa with the most spectacular views looking across to Albania and down to the little town of Kalami. Spios was there to greet us and show us around the property and was very helpful. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived which was very thoughtful, especially after a long journey. We would highly recommend the Villa and Spiros, you won’t be disappointed !! Corfu is also wonderful, beautiful!

Perfect stay

The villa was exactly as described, beautifully clean, we were allowed an early check in and a lovely arrival hamper was unexpectedly provided. Spiros was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process, always very responsive to our questions and very communicative during our stay! Location is just perfect for exploring all the lovely beaches and tavernas of north eastern Corfu and that view really is epic. Villa and owner 100% recommended!

wonderful stay

wie buchen gezielt Ferienhäuser, die zum Verweilen einladen und dazu beitragen, uns zu entschleunigen und wir kein Gefühl bekommen, etwas zu verpassen, wenn wir morgens nicht sofort irgendwelche touristische Unternehmungen durchführen. Die Villa ist der perfekte Ort dafür. Der Blick über die Bucht auf das Meer ist tatsächlich so traumhaft wie auf den Fotos. Ich habe es genossen, nach dem Aufstehen, erstmal in den Pool zu hüpfen und danach mit einem frischen Kaffee den Blick schweifen zu lassen und zu relaxen. Der Essbereich auf der Terrasse bietet zum Frühstück oder abends zum Barbecue ebenso einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Kurzum, wir haben nichts vermisst, Spiros und sein Vater sind wunderbar zuvorkommende Menschen, sehr herzlich. Die Lage der Villa, als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen, ist sehr gut, natürlich benötigt man einen Mietwagen. Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge haben wir reichlich erhalten und auch genutzt. Lieber Spiros, alles Gute für dich und deinen Vater ! :)

Wundervoller Aufenthalt

ich schreibe selten Rezensionen, in diesem Falle mache ich das gerne, denn sowohl die Villa, wie auch die Abwicklung und Kommunikation selbst, haben ein besonderes Lob verdient. Spiros empfing uns mit seinem Vater sehr herzlich, die gesamte Kommunikation vor und auch während unseres 2 wöchigen Urlaubes war absolut vorbildlich und unkompliziert. Spiros war persönlich oder per Whatt´s App immer für uns da und hatte gute Tipps parat. Unvergleichlich ist die besondere Lage der Villa. Hoch über Kalami hat man einen unglaublichen Blick über die Bucht und das Meer bis Kerkyra im Süden und Albanien im Nordosten. Wir genossen es sehr, schon in den frühen Stunden am Morgen in den herrlich beheizten uneinsehbaren Pool zu hüpfen und danach mit einer Tasse Kaffee einfach nur auf das Meer zu blicken. Die Ausstattung der Villa ist sehr gut, 3 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder ....die gut ausgestattete Küche mit Nespresso Maschine, Bialetti oder Mokkakännchen, Toaster, Mikro, Spülmaschine inkl. Tabs.....alles da. Den Barbecuegrill haben wir 2 x mal genutzt, was besonders stimmungsvoll war, abends zu grillen und auf die Lichter der Bucht zu blicken. Kalami selbst ist eine sehr schöne Bucht und man hat die Wahl zwischen netten klassischen Tavernen am Meer oder dem stylischen Beachclub Callao on the coast, mit kühlen Schattenplätzen, den wir für 2 Lunches besucht haben. Das beste Essen hatten wir jedoch im o foros in Old Perithia, eine Empfehlung von Spiros...danke nochmals dafür...das war mega ! :). Kurzum, wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen....LG Oliver und Familie

Truly special villa

We’ve had a wonderful week at Villa Genna. Spiros was a really welcoming and helpful host and the villa was exactly as described. It’s a well equipped villa with comfy beds and stunning views. The heated pool was fantastic and the kids loved it. Villa genna is situated in a beautiful part of Corfu with lovely beaches within easy reach. You do need to hire a car but there’s loads to see. We definitely plan to return!

Besser geht's nicht...

Wir verbrachten 10 wundervolle Tage auf Korfu. Die Villa Genna war perfekt für uns 2 Familien mit jeweils einem Kind. Pool, Ausblick, das extrem saubere und gut ausgestattete Haus und nicht zuletzt Spiros, der Vermieter, übertrafen unsere Erwartungen noch um Längen. Spiros tut das, was er macht mit Herzblut. Bereits im Vorfeld sehr angenehme Konversation per E-Mail, liebevolle Begrüßung mit kalten Getränken und einem kleinen Präsentkorb. Unschlagbare Tipps zu Ausflügen, Adressen, einheimischen Tavernen fernab vom Inseltourismus, die allesamt 5 Sterne verdienen. Jedes zukünftige Ferienhaus anderswo wird es bei uns schwer haben...

Fantastic view,clean well laid out villa

The owner Spiros was very helpful when we arrived. This Villa is very clean and well laid out and we spent a very happy and relaxing week. I don’t usually bbq but the outside dining area was so perfect that we really enjoyed doing so most nights. The local beaches were a 10 minute drive away with good restaurants. A lovely place. Sad to leave.

Wonderful two weeks in Villa Genna

Spiros and Alex looked after us so well. A wonderful villa with the most breathtaking view of Kalámi Bay. A real find ! Kalami is lovely along with all the coastal villages along this part of the coast. Wonderful tavernas and restaurants The people are without a doubt some of the most warm and welcoming people we have met on any of our holidays in various parts of the world If you want a relaxing holiday with the most spectacular scenery look no further than a stay in Villa Genna

Wonderful villa with in spectacular location and superb host.

Villa Genna is about as well positioned as it would be possible to imagine. The views over Kalami bay from the bedroom balcony, pool, veranda and outdoor dining table are just spectacular day or night. The villa is also perfectly located in the sweet spot of beaches, villages and bays between Agni and Kassiopi, making for very easy excursions to wonderful spots. Boat hire from the bay in Kalami just below the villa couldn't be easier, and there are several fantastic tavernas and villages within 10-15 minutes drive (or boat ride). So much for the location, the villa itself is spot on. Beautiful pool-with-a-view, outdoor bbq and dining area, well appointed throughout (coffee machine, full cooking & dining equipment etc), and the bedrooms were comfortable each having access to the specacular view from the balcony. Finally, i can't thank Spiros enough for his warmth and generosity as a host, recommending and reserving a restaurant for our first night (we quickly realised the select list of restaurants in his vistitors guidebook was thoughtlyfully chosen), suggesting a great fish shop, a dive excursion with a great school nearby, and even procuring the loan of his fathers guitar for the week when mine had unfortunately been damaged in transit. We were completely smitten with Corfu and Villa Genna and the children were only too happy to suggest coming back. Many thanks to Spiros and his pa.

Outstanding view and personal service

We spent a lovely week at Villa Genna. It is in a great location - a short drive to Kassiopi, Kaloura, Agni and other alluring coves with their waterside tavernas. The view from the house is magnificent - Corfu town in the south, Albania straight ahead, and Kalami Bay below, with Lawrence Durrell’s White House clearly visible .(TIP pack your binoculars for a close-up look at the massive private yachts which moor in the bay below. We had fun looking on-line to find out which billionaire was at play close by each night!) Spiros was a great host. He met us at the airport, despite a late arrival and led us to the house. He popped in with a sweet treat mid-week, and when I lost my watch, he kept up the search and found it a week later. It was also very interesting to talk to him about the island, and about his childhood memories of staying at his grandmother’s stone house next to Villa Genna - real context for our trip.

Villa Genna was faultless. Spiro takes such pride in this beautiful home. It is modern and so comfortable. Spiro offers awesome recommendations and it is obvious that he really cares that you have a wonderful holiday. A beautiful basket of yummy goodies were there when we arrived and some amazing cakes. The pool and views are really beautiful! I would highly recommend this property to others and also the hospitatility of Spiros! ❤️

Villa Genna is nested in Vigla, one the places mentioned by famous British writer Lawrence Durrell in his book “Prospero’s Cell”... the setting of many of my summer childhood memories.
