Top Gallant Cottage Runswick Bay Cottage con excelentes vistas al mar - con WiFi

Casa de campo con excelentes vistas al mar en la bahía virgen, protegido por los vientos del norte por Lingrow Knowle. Tiene unas vistas impresionantes, a 2 minutos a pie de la playa, pub y cafetería. En la parte delantera de la casa hay una terraza con mesa y sillas con una de las mejores vistas del pueblo. Runwick Bay era un antiguo pueblo de pescadores en la costa noreste. Es un bonito pueblo con casas blancas y mucho encanto. Hacemos nuestra propia limpieza.

Superb cottage. Cosy, beautifully furnished with a nice dash of Christmas decor too. The owner has thought of everything, lots of little touches even down to toiletries, quality bedding and the essential Yorkshire Tea. It is just a superb cottage with amazing views.

Simply Perfect

A wonderfully situated, spotless and cleverly converted cottage in beautiful Runswick Bay. Breathtaking views from the patio which has room enough to dine. Simply perfect.

excellent stay

Had a wonderful long weekend stay at Top Gallant. The view was amazing and made even better with the full moon reflecting on the sea! Everything is as listed, photos accurate, the house was clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable. It is a perfect location for exploring the area and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Our third visit to Top Gallant and it still delivers the wow factor. It’s quirky and cosy, tastefully decorated, well equipped and spotless. But its biggest selling point is the terrace high among the tumble of cottages overlooking beautiful Runswick Bay. The view is stunning and many hours have been spent sipping wine, listening to the sea and looking up at the stars after a day of walking the fabulous coastal paths. Another visit is already planned.

Perfect cottage!

What an amazing place to stay. Very clean, airy and well equipped with those extra touches that you don't find in other properties. Comfy bed too! Beautiful views and it was so quiet staying there. The detailed information sheet from the host was very helpful. Highly recommended property - we loved it!!

Perfect Getaway

This was a return visit to Top Gallant and it was as idyllic as we remembered. The cottage is quaint and cozy and equipped with everything you need … and the views from the windows and lovely little terrace are stunning. Already dreaming of next year’s visit.

Lovely cottage in Runswick Bay

Delightful cottage with beautiful views of Runswick Bay, both from within the cottage and also from the wonderful terrace where we were able to sit and have lunch in the February sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and look forward to returning soon. The cottage has everything that you need with lots of lovely thoughtful touches as well.

Fantastic Christmas at Top Gallant

We had a great Christmas experience at Top Gallant Cottage, our second in a row. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and an ideal place to relax during the festivities. Everything is there to make you feel at home and the views are excellent. Exploring the beach is always fun and there are lovely coastal walks close by. It has left us with many happy memories.

Heaven on earth!

Had the most amazing time at Top Gallant - the views from the balcony were spectacular and the accommodation was fabulous - spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped - we literally could not fault anything. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch which we enjoyed sat on the balcony overlooking the bay. We could have stayed forever, cant wait to return.

A very well appointed property in a delightful if not unique location. The lower village area has no roads although a residents car park is nearby, the property is accessed via paths and steps. The car can be briefly parked nearby for unloading, but luggage has to be carried in and then out again. Obviously this is not suitable for those with mobility issues. The property is superb, the view spectacular and very comfortable. There are many interesting walks and places to visit nearby, or simply enjoy the view and the bay itself - we certainly did.

The best stay ever.

Location stunning. Great walking, beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunrises. Cottage was clean, quirky, well equipped with fabulous views all around. Lots of lovely extra touches. peaceful and relaxing. We would return without hesitation. The location is hilly and the cottage also has lots of steps outside and inside, just to keep in mind if you are a less mobile. Thank you for the best stay ever.

Fantastic cottage to stay in. Clean, comfortable, cozy with a fabulous view from the bedroom window and the balcony which was lovely to sit and relax on. Attention to detail was unreal. There was nothing left to chance. Everything that we might need was there. There are long and short walks for those who enjoy walking, but also a good bus service to nearby towns like Staithes, Sandsend, Saltburn and Whitby.

Top gallant is a beautifully appointed property in the perfect spot overlooking Runswick.bay. The views from the bedroom window and the balcony are spectacular. The welcome bottle of french sauvignon was a lovely gesture . Super comfy bed and sofa. Good kitchen facilities with the added bonus of a great coffee machine. If we had any criticism, maybe black out blinds in the bedroom for us light sleepers, but otherwise perfect ! Cant wait to return.

A little gem

We were looking for a quirky, comfortable and peaceful hideaway with stunning views and found it at Top Gallant. The cottage was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The little balcony is an added bonus and adds to the wow factor. We sat there late into the night listening to the waves on the beach and looking up at the stars. Our three days of walking the cliff paths and exploring this fabulous area just wasn’t enough. Already planning our return. Thank you Bev for sharing Top Gallant.

Fantastic break "up north" at a fabulous location & venue!

It was idyllic setting so much so that my wife and I were more than happy to stay in during the evenings and make total use of the cottage which was perfect for the two of us and the log fire/burner stove was great and created a very relaxing atmosphere smart TV was all connected to usual needs i.e. Netflix etc. - just missing was the personal service folk LOL ! The view from the bed in the morning out across the bay was wonderful and sitting in the late afternoon & early evening time having an alcoholic beverage was great - I believe we will be returning again at some point in the near future.

Beautiful Bolthole, perfect location

We have missed staying at Top Gallant so much and were delighted to have been able to book a long weekend away here. The cottage is beautifully kitted out in a homely fashion. It's a real home from home with everything you could need. The bottle of wine is a real welcome. Very quiet in Nivember _ just how we like it. The Royal Hotel (local pub) is only open Friday/Saturday/ Sunday in winter.

We used to visit Runswick Bay on a regular basis living only 30 mins away. We used to dream about the possibility of buying a small property in Runswick and eventually we took the leap. Basically we have never looked back. We still ourselves.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We are down in the Bay with fantastic sea and beach views. Runswick village faces south. We get lots of sun and light during the day on our veranda and get shelter from weather coming in from the west. Then the stars and moon are often amazing by night. We like to stay in even in bad weather. We light the stove (open a bottle of wine) and watch the roaring sea. Runswick is a very special little place

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cottage has lots of charm and the view is one of the best in the Bay. You can lie in bed and look out at the sea in the morning. Then once you have dragged yourself out of bed you can be walking along the beach within minutes.
