Runswick Bay Top Gallant Cottage - outside seating - sea and beach views


Top Gallant Holiday Cottage with great sea views in an unspoilt bay. Bookings are for 2 adults. At the front of the cottage there is a veranda with table and chairs with one of the best views in the village. We have good WiFi, Smart TV (with Netflix and Prime Video). Runswick Bay is a pretty village with white washed cottages and a lot of charm. It lies between Staithes and Sandsend and in close proximity to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Saltburn. The Cleveland Way crosses the Runswick beach. This cottage is warm with electric heaters and a woodburning stove and provides a great break all year round.
Bedding and Towels are provided.
We get some guests who want to walk the cliff walks, some want to visit the rest of our local coast and some who just want to enjoy sitting on the veranda and enjoy the bay.
No pets.
The cottage is not suitable for anyone who struggles with mobility.
Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30 am.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We used to visit Runswick Bay on a regular basis living only 30 mins away. We used to dream about the possibility of buying a small property in Runswick and eventually we took the leap. Basically we have never looked back. We still ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We are down in the Bay with fantastic sea and beach views. Runswick village faces south. We get lots of sun and light during the day on our veranda and get shelter from weather coming in from the west. Then the stars and moon are often amazing by night. We like to stay in even in bad weather. We light the stove (open a bottle of wine) and watch the roaring sea. Runswick is a very special little place

What makes this property unique

The cottage has lots of charm and the view is one of the best in the Bay. You can lie in bed and look out at the sea in the morning. Then once you have dragged yourself out of bed you can be walking along the beach within minutes.
