Beautiful roof top apartment.

Wonderful roof top apartment walking distance to all the main attractions in Verona. The apartment was well equipped for enjoyable stay. Pia was very responsive and ensured we had what we needed for our stay.

Superb stay

Cozy apt in great location

This apartment was a wonderful place from which to explore Verona. The location was fabulous! The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay worry-free. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and the washing machine was a plus! We would stay again when visiting Verona.

Fantastic base to explore Verona and Lake Garda

This stunning apartment was a stones throw from the Verona Arena, in the heart of a thriving district that made us feel as though we were very much at home. The apartment itself has everything you could wish for, is extremely comfortable (the air conditioner was especially welcome!) and the small balcony looking out onto the rooftops was a wonderful peaceful place to wind down with a glass of wine and watch the swallows at dusk. Pia was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, and the week we stayed flew past. We would definitely try to book here again if we came back to Verona.

Oasis in Verona

This was a wonderful apartment in Verona. Pia was so helpful and accommodating. Close to piazza Bra and the bus stop. A delightful bakery and pizza/cafe just a few min from the apartment. We took the bus to the train station and did 4 great day trips from Verona Porto nuovo. A great balcony to have wine on in the evenings.

Lovely stay in the heart of Verona

We spent three weeks in Pia's comfortable apartment, which is located in a residential quarter of Verona but remains within a short walk of all the city's main attractions. We loved our view of the rooftops and the sounds of church bells and singing birds! Pia responded quickly to our many questions and offered good suggestions for shopping, groceries, gelato, etc. It was a pleasure to get to know her and we hope to return to the via Tito Speri sometime.

Happy stay in Verona

We spent a very happy 5 weeks here. It is very well situated in Verona's centre, and very close to several good bus routes so easy to get around the whole of Verona. There are good shops close by. The apartment is very comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking over the roofs (one small warning is that it is on the top floor with steep stairs; this was not a problem for us at all but anyone with mobility issues might take this into account). Pia was very helpful with all our queries and the admin side was simple. We would be very happy to stay again.

Location is great

This apartment is in a great location in the old city. Easy waking distance to all the historical sights, five minutes to the Arena on foot and 10 min from there to most everything else. Check in was great! Alberto was waiting for us at the apartment and showed us around. He was charming, helpful and knowledgeable about the sights and the area. Restaurant and bakery just around the corner and easy access to the bus line to the train station for day trips. Loved how bright this apartment is. Perfect for a couple. We stayed 5 nights and loved every min. The is no elevator so expect to climb up about 35 steps. Consider it a way to burn off all the pasta you will eat.

Great Views, QuIet, and AC Cool Even During a Heat Wave

I have a hard time when the temperature hits 90/32, so I really appreciated that this apartment stayed cool over the two weeks that I stayed there. To be honest, I slept on the super comfortable futon in the living room, close to the AC unit. But the bedroom is beautiful and the bed, which I tried out, is very comfortable too. Bedroom has a ceiling fan and extra table fan. This apartment is on the top floor with beautiful rooftop and church tower views, and a balcony on which to enjoy them. The living area is up to date, with a nice kitchen and a smart TV. This apartment is on the third level, and the last set of stairs up is a bit steep, so keep that in mind if you have balance issues. Extremely quiet neighborhood close to the Arena. Pia was a friendly and helpful host. Thanks!

Location + Amenities!

We stayed for 5 weeks, both working and exploring Verona. The internet was reliable and bandwidth was sufficient for Zoom video meetings. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen is very well equipped. There wasn’t anything we needed that we didn’t find, and the quality of the pots and pans was excellent (not often the case in vacation rentals!). But the location was the very best thing. We were thrilled to find a reasonably priced apartment so close to everything! We walked around the city center every day, and particularly enjoyed the sound of the church bells from the little balcony….which was also a lovely, sunny spot for morning coffee. Pia was very responsive and helpful anytime questions or issues came up, and we got some nice local recommendations from her, as well as her lovely friends who met us when we arrived. In short, we would highly recommend this rental!

Difficult

There were several problems with the property. We were informed that there were many steps to the third floor but we were not informed how precarious they were. At level 2 and 3 the steps were very short without sufficient room to place your foot. The steps were of varying heights and at the upper level very steep. Lighting in the kitchen was fairly minimal, but the most disappointing part was an incident with a picture hanging in the stairway. The picture crashed to the floor after I bumped it. Glass shattered everywhere and was difficult to clean up. An examination of the hanging method revealed the picture was hung by a single short nail in soft, loose plaster. When I bumped it while trying to navigate the stairs it was poised to let go and did. The situation was hazardous and my slight contact set off an action that could have resulted in an injury. The most disappointing part was I reported the accident to the owner and the only reaction I received was I owed them 50 euro. No concern as to my status and if I was injured. Secondly, the picture was a reprinted poster style of general quality and I have to question if the picture was of that value. I would not recommend this property to others and would not use it again.

Schöner Aufenthalt in toller Stadt

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Arena. Top ausgestattete Küche, sehr nette Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin via WhatsApp, Check-In problemlos. Ein kleiner Hinweis: ein Fliegenschutzgitter zumindest am Schlafzimmerfenster wäre optimal, wir hatten ein "kleines" Stechmückenproblem.

Mitten im Herzen von Verona

Sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermieter, wir wurden empfangen und eingewiesen von Freund des Vermieters. Altstadt unmittelbar angeschlossen, zur Arena 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Hübsche Wohnung mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, aber im 3. Stock mit sehr steiler Treppe am Ende. Wohnung geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles vorhanden. Wir würden nochmals buchen und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung im Zentrum von Verona

Schöne Wohnung, ganz nah am Zentrum mit der Arena und trotzdem herrlich ruhig. Herrlicher Ausblick vom Balkon über die Dächer der Altstadt. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die sehr steile Treppe in den 3. Stock. Dafür entschädigt dann die gemütliche Einrichtung, komfortabel ausgestattete Küche und die gute Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin!

Good location, nice accommodations

This was a good long term stay accommodation. The balcony and washing machine were great/ enjoyable helps! Alberto (Pia’s manager) could not have been kinder or more helpful. The 3-story stairway was great exercise, but just know this if you have mobility limitations. Remember, the higher you are, the better the view from the balcony; I loved seeing the bell tower nearby. This was close to many restaurants and near Piazza Bra and the arena! I loved getting pastries from the corner bakery and sitting next door for cappuccino at the cafe. We would stay there again!

Wunderschön

Im August 2022 habe ich die wunderschöne Wohnung im Zentrum von Verona gebucht. Die Wohnung ist ganz genau so wie auf den Bildern gezeigt und beschrieben wird. Wunderschön und ich habe mich in der ersten Minute sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt und die Kommunikation klappt hervorragend. Ich kann sie nur weiterempfehlen. Fazit: immer wieder gerne

Idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Zentrum von Verona

Die Wohnung liegt im Dachgeschoss und ist gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem kleinen Balkon. Die Arena ist 10 Minuten entfernt. Trotz der Nähe zum Zentrum ist die Lage der Wohnung sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, gerne wieder.

Comfortable stay

We had a Bellissima stay at the apartment. It was clean, practical and in the middle of town. Verona is a typical and very sweet, clean and fancy Italian town. It has a towns feeling and still has every shop and restaurant you could imagine. The river and closeby hills with beautiful churches are also recommendable. The apartment doesnt have a typical Italian interior but has everything you need for a perfect stay. You can even do your laundry and sit on the balcony.

PERFEKT

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in Verona. Sofort verliebten wir uns in diese so liebevoll ausgestattete und sehr saubere Wohnung. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Klimaanlage war - bei 36 Grad- auch sehr hilfreich. Auf dem kleinen Balkon konnten wir den Tag - bei einem Prosecco - gemütlich ausklingen lassen. In Ca. 5 Min. waren wir an der Arena - ideal! Hatten wir Fragen- konnten wir uns an Pia, Alberto oder Beate wenden. Besten Dank! Wir kommen wieder!

It was just so convenient to be able to walk out every day and explore Verona on foot.But equally easy to come back and have a rest if we wished. Lovely property in a fantastic city

We have just had a wonderful week at Casa San Fermo. Walking, it's only a few minutes from the Arena and Piazza Bra but in an amazingly quiet location. The apartment is nicely furnished and very comfortable. It's very light and sunny and the balcony is a real bonus. We didn't do much eating in as there are too many good restaurants to try but the kitchen is well equipped if you fancy doing a bit of cooking. There is a bakery just round the corner and an excellent cafe next door to that - Caffe La Torre - so breakfast is almost on the doorstep. Verona itself exceeded our expectations. It's a lovely city to walk round, especially in the evening when the day-trippers have gone. There is more than enough to do and see for a week but if you want to explore further afield there are buses from the Arena, and the train station is only a 15-20 minute stroll up the Corsa Porta Nuova from the apartment. The apartment is top floor, so not suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs but for anyone else we would highly recommend Casa San Fermo as a base for a Verona break.

Living like a local!

Pia is an attentive host - gracious and cheerful! She responded quickly to our emails and we were very happy with the apartment! The apartment is as described in the listing, but better than we expected. It feels fresh with plenty of light and air movement. It had everything my husband and I needed to be comfortable during our two week stay...the balcony was a treat! The kitchen is complete and the closet has lots of space. It's a very livable apartment. The building is on a quieter little street, with plenty of amenities within a short walk, and you can also rent city bikes if you need to go further. Thank you, Pia, for a fantastic stay at your wonderful apartment in the heart of historic Verona!

I was born in Sardinia, one of the most beautiful of the Mediterranean islands! Because of my husband's work I moved with my family to Verona and we fell in love with the city! Verona is a place where you can enjoy the real Italian life walking along the fascinating, narrow medieval streets and around the picturesque squares.
Verona is rich in history and in monuments that testify to its importance in the Roman, Medieval and Renaissance periods.

For these reasons and others more we decided to buy this wonderful attic apartment, which is the perfect location for enjoying the delights of the beautiful city of Verona.The apartment is light, airy, with a lovely balcony with panoramic views of the typical roofs of the ancient city, where you can enjoy the morning sun and for candle-lit meals at night. The Arena and Piazza Erbe are just around the corner. It's quiet, so cosy, so authentic and so modern! You immediately feel yourself in the heart of a historical Verona...
