About Susie Johnston
Scottish based family who have holidayed in La Manga for a few years and have invested here because we love it.
Susie Johnston purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Susie Johnston chose Diputación de Rincón de San Ginés
The villa appealed as it is very spacious, wonderful for small and teenage kids, adults, families, couples and has plenty space for everyone. The community pool and gardens are beautiful, well maintained and the views from the balcony are wonderful.

Beautiful large villa
A large villa in a quiet part of La Manga. The pool was big and the kids thoroughly enjoyed making new friends. The accommodation was spacious and worked really well with the different sun terraces. We had a fantastic holiday here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay on the club.
We found this property to be really amazing, with all facilities and more than we expected. The pool was fabulous and nearby restaurants and amenities were great. Our 8 year old son really enjoyed the La Manga football sessions that was on offer. Thanks again for a great stay.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and thank you for taking the time to review the villa and your experience.
Excellent Family Holiday.
Our holiday was completely excellent, from the initial booking until our return. Everything was as detailed and more. The pool area was great for the children and everyone liked the spacious rooms and amenities. There was plenty of room for the eight of us. The booking was easy, the access, cleanliness and area all excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.
Wonderful family villa
Spacious 3 story villa, very well equipped with crockery, cutlery, glassware etc
And seating and dining areas on beautiful balconies .
The Laundry room and tv lounges where
There’s a Short drive/ walking distance to well stocked supermarket, cocktail bars, coffee shops and good quality restaurants .
Excellent thank you
Fab villa - perfect for family get together
Very spacious accommodation - everyone could have their own space and also big communal space. Great garden and pool area. Very well appointed in all aspects of housekeeping.
Only disappointment was October is a quiet time for kids so football academy cancelled for the boys and some other advertised facilities of the club not available. Eg playpark for toddler and climbing wall .
Local supermarket very good.
Thanks so much for reviewing the villa. I’m sorry to hear that some of the usual LA Manga camps/ activities weren’t running. Unfortunately I didn’t know of this but will keep an eye out. I do hope you still enjoyed the villa though. Susie 😊
Great villa in a quiet area of La Manga Club
Wonderful villa that is an excellent size and was ideal for our holiday which included 5 adults and 4 children. The villa was clean and furnished to a very high standard. It has one of the best spots on the Las Tarrezas community with direct access to the shared pool and a lovely garden area in front of the villa to place the sun beds. Having visited La Manga Club a number of times before we knew what to expect, although it was a pleasure to be back and enjoy this different area.
I would reccomend the Los Molinos Flamenco night which is held every Thursday during summer holidays, a great fun night. Also, a trip to Cartegena is well worth it for a trip outside the club.
Special interest holidays:
The sports academies at La Manga Club cater for those interested in improving their golf, tennis, football and cricket.
Luxury boot camps and dancing are also popular choices.
For walkers and those just looking for peace and quiet, the remoteness of Calblanque Nature Reserve offers the chance to explore peaceful coves and enjoy spotting an abundance of wildlife, some endangered, including turtles.
Ten minutes walk from the villa is La Cala, La Manga Club's private beach. There are 3 main beach areas in this region, each with their own characters: the Mar Menor beach, sandy and leading to the calm, warm La Manga del Mar Menor lagoon; the Mediterranean side of La Manga strip, on the Eastern coast of the region, has a sandy beach leading to the open sea; on the southerly coast, the landscape is different again where the beaches, although still, are mostly surrounded by rocky areas.

The Junior Club is open all year round and is situated close to the Tennis Centre, providing a range of supervised activities for children aged between 3 months and 12 years, allowing parents to relax. The centre is fully air-conditioned and has been designed with children in mind.
The spa and wellness centre has 13 treatment rooms, including 2 couple's rooms and 3 deluxe spa suites, a spacious gymnasium and fitness studio, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, fun showers, and a 6-lap 25-metre indoor swimming pool.
Various sailing centres and schools are available to rent you sailing equipment or give you basic, intermediate or advanced lessons in windsurfing, water skiing or sailing. There are also diving schools offering PADI certified courses and activities.
Cycling is one of the healthiest and most exciting ways to discover the resort and its surroundings, from the green golf courses to the stunning cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. The terrain varies from fairly easy roads with some hills within La Manga Club or the miles of flat, easy routes around the Mar Menor, to challenging off-road routes and some serious gradients in the hills surrounding the resort.
La Manga Club is also the ideal destination for walking and running. Bordered on two sides by a natural park, it is virtually unequalled in offering numerous, little-frequented trails through unspoilt countryside, only a stone's throw from the villa.?? The hills surrounding the resort offer some excellent walking and jogging routes, with well-marked paths and many stunning views.
Horse riding is just one of many activities that can be enjoyed whilst at La Manga. The stable yard is in the local town of Los Belones, which is no more than a few minutes drive from La Manga Club. The name of the horse riding stables is 'Rancho de la Fuente'.
La Manga Club enjoys over 25 restaurants and bars, some only a 10 minute walk away, others within only a few minutes drive.
