Tina y Franco le dan la bienvenida a su propiedad La Tinaia, situada en las colinas al suroeste de Florencia, a 10 km del centro histórico y a pocos minutos del tranvía que lleva a los visitantes a Florencia.

Desde el año 2000, hemos acogido a huéspedes y familias de todo el mundo en nuestros cuatro apartamentos bien cuidados, bien mantenidos y luminosos, con espléndidas vistas.

El apartamento IL BOSCO está situado en la planta superior y disfruta de hermosas vistas desde todas las ventanas. La arquitectura y la decoración son típicas de la región.

El apartamento consta de un salón-cocina muy espacioso, dos dormitorios dobles, uno de los cuales está situado en el ático, y un cuarto de baño con ducha. La cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario para cocinar. El apartamento es muy acogedor y está cuidado hasta el último detalle.

Es el lugar ideal para quienes desean pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas y descubrir el patrimonio artístico y natural de la Toscana.

El amplio jardín ofrece zonas de comedor al aire libre, piscina, solárium y barbacoa de uso compartido. Para los amantes de la naturaleza, hay rutas de senderismo y ciclismo de montaña.

Recorrido por la Toscana: en menos de una hora se puede llegar al patrimonio artístico y arquitectónico más importante de la Toscana.

Peaceful stay in Tuscan countryside

We loved our stay with Tina and Franco at Farmhouse La Tinaia. The views were gorgeous and the apartment was spacious and perfect for our group. We enjoyed the pool, and the wine and olive oil produced on site were delicious.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad bij La Tinaia. Heel jammer dat ze gaan stoppen in 2025, we wilden eigenlijk alvast weer boeken. Je bent zo in Florence met het ov. Maar met de auto ook zo in bv Siena. We hebben ook heerlijk kunnen relaxen bij het zwembad. Een week was eigenlijk te kort.

Bellissimo

The property was set in an idyllic location in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. As a bonus it was only 30 minutes to Florence. Luckily Tina could speak good English and gave us several good recommendations. We had fun trying to communicate with Franco with our pidgin Italian. They were excellent hosts and the accommodation met with our expectations. We would love to come back and plan to do so in the future.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location!

We (my wife, girls (6 & 9) and I) spent a week with Tina and Franco in their beautiful house before heading up to Venice for the second week. I could quite happily have stayed here for another week instead of Venice. The location is so peaceful with great views out to the hills of Tuscany and it’s only a short trip (10-15 mins) to get into Florence. Although Florence is very pretty it was nice to be able to come back and relax away from the hustle and bustle with a glass of Chianti which is produced on site. It’s very good too. The kids loved the pool and we were often the only ones there. The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice an airy complemented by the aircon when required. The kitchen was also well equipped. A car is kind of essential if you wish to explore the area and if going to Florence it’s advisable to drive to the tram and bus station in Scandicci where you can park for free and take the tram into the centre of Florence. We drove south to San Gimignano which is absolutely stunning. A bit further on is Siena. If you are traveling with similar aged or slightly older kids and rent a car, Cavelino Matto theme park is worth a visit. Just over an hours drive away, it’s no Disneyland but it’s cheaper and there are no queues at all! Better bang for buck than parks where you have to queue all the time. If we come back to Tuscany in the next few years I’d definitely go back to La Tinaia. Highly recommended and thanks again to Tina for being a great host!

Perfektes Urlaubsdomnizil in der Toskana

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder; 13 und 16 Jahre) waren im August 2016 Gäste auf Tinas und Francos Weingut in der Nähe von Florenz. Die gemütliche Ferienwohnung IL BOSCO ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Tina und Franco sind sympathische und sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die jederzeit ansprechbar waren und uns mit wertvollen mit Tips für unsere Besichtigungstouren weiterhelfen konnten. Die großzügigen Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und bieten einen perfekten Ort um sich von den touristisch sehr belebten Städten wie Florenz, Siena oder San Giminano zu erholen. Vom Pool aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick in Weinberge und Olivenhaine. Von Scandicci, das ca. 10 Autominuten von der Ferienwohnung entfernt ist, kann man mit der Straßenbahn in 15 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof nach Florenz fahren und sich die langwierige Parkplatzsuche in der Stadt ersparen. Ein besonderes Highlight war das von unseren Gastgebern veranstalte mehrgängige Abendessen zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes, bei dem man auch die anderen Gäste kennen lernen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Tina und Franko Urlaub machen.

Belle location tranquille et spacieuse

Tina et Franco sont charmants et parlent bien français. Le gîte est spacieux et très tranquille au sein de la campagne toscane. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. L'accès à Florence par le tramway à Scandicci (15min en voiture avec parking gratuit) est pratique et peu onéreux (des tramways toutes les 5min). Ce gite est à recommander!

Trés belle location

Tina et Franco sont charmants et parlent très bien français. Le gîte est confortable et spacieux, au sein de la campagne Toscane avec une vue magnifique sur les oliviers. L'accès à Florence est pratique et peu onéreux ( 15min en voiture jusqu'à un parking gratuit puis un tramway qui passe toutes les 5min environ). Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances .

Parfait

Nous avons passé 4 jours chez Tina et Franco. Leur propriété est magnifique. Après les visites à Florence en journée, rentrer le soir dans ce petit coin au calme nous permettait de nous ressourcer et d'admirer la beauté des paysages Toscans. Le logement est conforme à la description, propre et accueillant, avec une jolie chambre spacieuse et une literie très confortable. Tina et Franco sont charmants et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils. Merci à eux pour leur accueil. Ce premier séjour en Toscane nous a beaucoup plu et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Wonderful stay in the hills of Florence

This was everything one could expect for a wonderful stay in the hills outside of Florence. Tina and her husband are warm and genuine hosts that provided excellent accommodations and accurate and helpful driving advice and suggestions like tips on how to get the most of the usual Tuscan sites and towns near. We drove to the large supermarket (with a large and well lighted parking lot) in Scandicci nearby (10 min) and caught the new Florence tram into town. As a result, no parking issues in downtown Florence. Tina and her husband hosted a dinner outside under the arbor by the pool that was fantastic. The view from the pool overlooking Florence and Arno River valley were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property. Harry Holmes

Country Oasis..clean, comfortable and quiet!

We stayed at LaTinaia for 3 nights and our only regret is that we did not book for a longer time. We hated to leave the peaceful beauty and wonderful accommodations. My husband, daughter and her husband stayed in the Il Bosco apartment and it was a perfect size for the four of us. The apartment and grounds are immaculate. Tina and Franco take such pride in their property and it shows in how well maintained the grounds and building are kept. We took the tram into Florence but needed a car to get into Scandicci. The countryside in the area is gorgeous! We were invited to have dinner prepared by Franco - don't miss the opportunity if it is offered! It was fun to dine with the other guests from around the world and the food was delicious! They also serve their wonderful wine from their own vineyards. I highly recommend this property! It is a gem!

What a place!

We stayed here for 4 nights near the end of our 18 day trip through Italy. We arrived from Milan to finish with 4 more days in Rome. It was absolutely perfect. We traveled with another couple and shared one of the larger apartments. It was easy to get to Florence (need to drive to the tram) and perfect to visit the surrounding hill towns. Franco and Tina are the best hosts. We had a group dinner with them along with others that were staying there. Highly recommend this in that Franco is a great cook. The property is stunning, the rooms are well kept and clean. We walked to the restaurant up the road. The wine made on premise is very good. We brought home a case. I would go back again as couples or family. Thank you Franco and Tina for an awesome stay.

Schönes Weingut, nahe Florenz

Hallo, wir lieben es in Italien Urlaub zu machen und haben die Woche bei Tina und ihrem Mann sehr genossen. Eine top gepflegte, mit allem Komfort ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es war alles genau so wie im Internet beschrieben, sauber, gepflegte Aussenanlage mit großem Parkplatz, schönem Pool, Sonnenliegen mit extra dicken Polsterauflagen, Sonnenschirmen, Grillplatz mit Hollywoodschaukel, Terrasse um zu Essen oder einfach nur den Blick über die milden Hügel der Toskana schweifen zu lassen. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren herzlich willkommen, Tina und ihre Mann haben uns nicht nur alle Einzelheiten der Wohnung erklärt, sondern auch die anderen Räume, die alle Gäste auf dem Weingut benutzen dürfen. ( riesige Wohnküche, Aufenthaltsraum, Bad, Empfang, Aussenbereich ) Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir gegen geringen Aufpreis die Klimaanlage benutzen können. Tina hat uns direkt bei Ankunft einige Prospekte, Beschreibungen und Kartenmaterial von der Region und von Florenz an die Hand gegeben, ebenso eine gute Beschreibung der Bus- und Tram Verbindung nach Florenz. Hier sei angemerkt, es lohnt nicht von dort mit dem Auto nach Florenz zu fahren, sondern mit der Tram, bequem und einfach. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, da man Florenz schnell erreicht, ebenso die Chianti Region, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggione, Colle die Val d'Elsa. Wir hatten diesmal einen kleinen Leihwagen, so kamen wir selbst durch enge Gassen und Strassen, alles andere wäre schwierig geworden, man sollte immer das alter vieler toskanischer Dörfer bedenken. Überall konnten wir sehr gute toskanische Küche genießen, wer gerne Pasta, Pizza mag, kommt voll auf seine Kosten, ein Muss ist das Eis in San Gimignano, die Eisdiele ist dort Weltmeister über mehrere Jahre bereits. Ebenso einige Restaurants sind dort zu empfehlen, unbedingt auf Steinpilzgerichte, Trüffelgerichte und selbsthergestellte Nudeln achten einfach köstlich- wer dies mag. Wir haben unseren Toskana Urlaub hier sehr genossen und waren mit allem mehr als zufrieden, die Unterkunft und Lage ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Wir sind ein Paar aus NRW, Alter 52&57. Waren insgesamt zwei Wochen in der Toskana, eine Woche Florenz und eine Woche Torre del Lago Puccini, Unterkunft auf dem gleichen Weg gebucht. Canadian Family loved La Tinaia

We spent 12 days at La Tinaia, as a family of four with two girls (age 9 and 13) and rented one of the up stairs two bedroom units. And we would highly recommend it. The property is nicely landscaped with a great pool, and large enough for kids to have fun. The location is up on a hill with a terrific view of the countryside. Tina and Franco are terrific hosts, always approachable and available when you need them, but giving you the feel that this is your place to enjoy as a family. They welcomed having kids. Although there are several apartments in the large Villa, we found that the property was very quite and relaxing, with people taking day trips and leaving the place empty if you wanted to have a day at the pool. The evenings were also quite with dinners out, so we rarely found that we were sharing the outdoor eating patio with anyone else, or perhaps one other couple or family. The units have the necessary items, including Air Conditioning during hot times (for an additional / nominal fee). We found the location idea for getting into Florence while still having a rural place to stay in, with a 15 min drive to Scandicci to get the tram and a comfortable 20 minute ride to downtown Florence. The tram arrived every 3-5 minutes at the station. A car rental is a must for this location in our minds if you are planning to see places, and we found that AVIS allows you to book a year in advance without any deposit, and had very competitive rates. The near by restaurant, 5 min walking distance up the hill, is great with a great outdoor courtyard to eat in. If you are planning to do a lot of your own cooking then a drive into Scandicci or Ginestra is required to get food. Our daughter's grandmother came for a week and rented a one bedroom upstairs beside our unit. She did find the 37 stairs a bit taxing for her, so if people have issues with climbing up 37 stairs a few times a day, then make sure you request one of the main floor units at ground level (they'll be likely a bit cooler also). The common kitchen on the ground level is great for preparing your dinners and eating in the garden area. The kitchen is well provisioned. We would go back. Great central location for visiting Lucca, Volterra, Sienna, Florence city etc Tina and Franco met all our requests for internet, more pillows and laundry even though they didn't come as standard. The pool was a great facility and well maintained. The accomodation was clean and well thought out. We will definately stay there again

A wonderful welcome to La Tinaia

My wife and I spotted the advert and La Tinaia looked delightful. We made enquiries and Tina replied quickly with exactly the details we needed. As our travelling arrangements were a bit complicated she was very helpful, always giving us contact numbers and making everything run smoothly. When we arrived the property was even more attractive than we expected, and both Tina and Franco knew just how much to chat with us and give us space and privacy. It was fascinating to discover about the wine and Olive Oil that they produce, and it is well worth trying (shame we did not have room to take much more home!). Very helpful, friendly and efficient. A pleasure to be their guests.
