'Huggins' is a 17th Century Miners Cottage with lovely views within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Adjacent to our own cottage it is completely private with own drive, parking and garden with breathtaking views towards the Malverns.
Just through the front door, there is a small area for boots and coats, and to the right is a breakfast room. The door to the left takes you through into the snug. Complete with low beams, comfy chairs, a TV and log burning stove for those cooler evenings.
The kitchen is small and with more low beams but equipped with everything you require for a self-catering break away.
The stairs lead directly up onto a small landing. To the right is a large bathroom and to the left the bedroom with double opening windows for an uninterpreted view.
The cottage is sympathetically decorated in neutral colours and with a style to complement the area. We do have a hare who lives in the woods to the right and he can sometimes be seen in the field to the front as well as rabbits, owl, woodpeckers and deer (red and muntjac). You may be lucky enough to see badgers in the garden at night.
Outside, there is a raised seating area ensuring you can make the best of the views. There is also a shed which you can use for bikes if you wish.
This beautiful cottage is real rural living, with the amenities of the gorgeous old town of Ludlow 4 miles away and Tenbury Wells 6 miles away.
A walker's paradise and directly on miles of footpaths you don't have to go far to explore and lose yourself in nature. If you do enjoy days out The Elan Valley is just over an hour, Cardingmill Valley is 30 minutes and we are well covered by National Trust and English Heritage. For the more adventurous you could try your hand at flying birds of prey with Chris Neal 5 minutes away or walking with Wolves with Wolf Watch their location is secret, Wales / Shropshire border and again about an hour away.
