About Anthe Angelides
As a young child each summer my parents would send my brother and I from Canada to Rhodes, where much of our family lived. Immersing in our culture was very important to us and them. My brother and I loved Lothiarica beach and hung out there often. In the summer of 1988 I met my husband there. He was from NY. Each year we went back, looking forward to seeing each other again. By 1998 we were married living in NY and took our first child to that very place, we felt was our little taste of paradise. By 2010 we had built our home in Rhodes and now take our three boys there each that very spot we first met. We would love to share a bit of our memories with you and make them a part of to our home away from home and make it yours even for a short long.
Why Anthe Angelides chose Pefki
This home was uniquely made for our family with furnishings from various parts of the world and custom touches of quality fabrics and linens and the best of appliances. We are available for anything you may need 24 hours and are more then happy to serve you.

Amuthi Villa - AMAZING !,
Having lost my dad last year we decided to treat ourselves this year - and we were not disappointed. 😄 An amazing villa, beautifully maintained, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool and areas outside were just perfect. ❤️ On arrival the fridge was packed with water and essentials and a lovely platter of fresh fruit all ready for us. The owners mom popped along to see if we had everything we needed. They arranged airport transfers with George. I quite honestly can’t fault the villa, the surroundings, it was perfectly placed - an amazing holiday and we will definitely be going back ! Can’t recommend this highly enough to. Treat yourselves you won’t be disappointed 😄😄 😎😎
Paradise! We had an unforgettable vacation! Can't wait to go back!
This home was extremely clean! Everything seemed new. Anthe and her family were on call 24/7 if we needed anything. All the information she sent us to customize our trip was excellent. We got to see the best of Rhodes and eat at the best places as well. The pool was just put in and was perfect for morning and evening swims while sipping on our wine. The kids had a blast and loved heading down to the St. James hotel for brunch. In the morning we helped ourselves to figs and grapes and other fabulous fruit. Thank you Anthe and especially your family. You are true hosts. See you again next year!
Lovely spacious , light and airy, modern villa
Had a lovely family holiday staying at this villa. Beautiful villa with tasteful furnishings. Well equipped. Good air con and comfy beds. The hotel with pool is only a short walk away. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming . We would definitely return.
The property was beautifully furnished and presented and was spotlessly clean. Everything described in the listing was there and the notes provided by the owner were really helpful on where to visit and suggestions on where to eat etc. Our favourite restaurant was Valentina's in Lardos where the standard was much higher than anywhere else we ate with very friendly staff. We hired a car for the fortnight but you could easily be there for a week's stay without one if happy to walk to nearby shops/ restaurants and use the local buses or taxis. The bedlinen was not changed every 3 days as suggested in the listing but was offered after we'd been there a week, but we'd changed the sheets ourselves as there was a good supply of bedlinen and towels, so not really a problem. The pool at nearby St James Hotel was also spotlessly clean and the beach bar very good value with delicious food on the menu. We had a very relaxing time here and would definitely recommend this stunning property and beautiful location as one of the best we've stayed in.
Bliss on the Rhodes less traveled
This is a stunning property on a quiet stretch in Lardos. The house is spacious and modern with tons of light and all the amenities. Waking up to that view of crystalline Aegean water was a treat I savored every morning and we spent a hours on that lovely veranda, lounging by day and watching the stars at night. Out back we watched the goats make their way through the mountains as we sipped our Greek coffee. Delightful!
The open floor plan in the house made it very great house for chilling after a busy day. Everyone (for part of the time we were seven people from 3 generations) could find a cool and cozy spot to read books, play games, watch the World Cup or just nap.
The location is ideal, close enough to the beach and the action, but removed enough to be a tranquil oasis. There's a grocery just across the street, walking distance to some shops and restaurants, and the rental property comes with access to all of the amenities at the St. James Hotel, just a few steps away on a path lined with pomegranate, lime, fig and olive trees. St. James has a great pool and poolside restaurant with a warm and helpful staff and a pool table and air hockey table that my kids enjoyed daily. Don't miss their Greek night!
Lardos is also in an ideal location. You are five minutes from the shops, restaurants and beaches of Pefkos. Forty-five minutes in one direction takes you to Rhodes Town and in the other you're in Prassonisi, where the Aegean and Mediterranean greet each other by a narrow strip of beach (pretty amazing). Just a 10-15 drive to the breathtaking St. Paul's Bay and Lindos - don't miss it! We did some incredible day trips from this central location and were always happy to return to our comfortable house. And, of course, if you're just looking to veg on the beach, take the beautiful, fruit tree-lined path to the St. James Beach. A lounge awaits.
We spent our first couple of nights in Rhodes Town. This was much better. Access to everything, but your own corner of paradise.
Trip of a life time!
I spent a month in this beautiful home and loved every minute! At one point there was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. This home is spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. On arrival it was spotlessly clean. The veranda was a favorite spot for coffee in the morning with a spectacular view of the Agean. A few minutes walk and you were at the St. James hotel where you can enjoy the pool or sit on the beach where there are plenty of lounges. The pool side restaurant has great food and service. They do a Greek night once a week with great entertainment. There is a grocery store across the street if you want to spend a quiet evening in. The kitchen was all you could want and fully equipped to eat in. I must say though, we spent quite a few nights in Lardos, a village 5 minutes away at Valentinas, a restaurant you have to go to! The food and the staff are top notch and we were never disappointed! We found we were located within walking distance to anything we needed but we could also jump on a tour bus and see any of the many sights on the island. We rented a car several times and drove the beautiful coast line to many of the attractions. Bicycles were available to rent and we enjoyed riding to the near by villages. This truly was the trip of a life time. Greece is stunning and this home was all we were hoping for and much, much more!

Rhodes is located 11 miles from Turkish shores and the Greek mainland, it was influenced by many cultures and played an integral part in history. It is called the sunshine island and boasts 300 days of sunshine. A tour of the old town is strongly recommended. There you will be mesmerized by its stunning beauty and rich history. It will transport you to a different time. Its awe inspiring architecture is influenced by so many cultures, especially the Castle of the Knights, which was once Mussolini's vacation home. A few cobble stone blocks from the castle is a fountain that stands in the centre of the four corners of religion...this is a favorite spot for many. On your car ride back stop at Anthony Quinn beach. He adored Rhodes with all its glory. Of course! You can't leave Rhodes without taking a donkey ride to the Acropolis of Lindos. A week is not enough!
