Our beautiful family villa is located on the prestigious High Grove resort in Clermont. It benefits from a large open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen. There are 4 spacious bedrooms, two en-suite king beds and two twin rooms with a linked ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom. The villa is equipped with every mod-con you would expect in a high standard property; air-conditioning, free WiFi, local calls, cable, a large 50" HDTV, plus TVs in all bedrooms and a games room for children and adults alike. We also offer free use of our BBQ and there is a safe available. It is outside however where we believe our villa really comes into its own. With a south west facing pool and spa you can enjoy all day sunshine and stunning views across the lake and conservation area. This small gated community is unique in appearance, and whilst very quiet, there are numerous restaurants, bars and a large Walmart only a 5 minute drive away. Disney World is only 15 minutes away, with Universal a further 15 minutes. Its approximately 75 minutes to Florida's golden, sandy beaches and also to the Kennedy Space Centre. Golfers are also catered for, with a number of championship standard courses nearby.

Sunshine Escape

A wonderful getaway. Peaceful animal sanctuary to overlook and enjoy, while relaxing in the pool and hot tub.We will definitely seek to stay here again. Yes, there are minor cosmetics but Nothing to prevent you from having a wonderful stay!

A great spot for a family

We had a great time here. It fits our family of 5 very well. We have younger children and the layout of twin bedrooms vs adult rooms was perfect. It was also nice to have a bathtub for our little ones. The laundry and dishwasher both worked great. We also enjoyed the screened-in pool and the ability to see a few gators right from the pool deck. Excellent communication from the host. We would stay again!

Winter thaw

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day of our stay. Everyone in our party felt comfortable and at home. We even had a person in a power chair. He was able to get in and out of house with ease. We all enjoyed seeing the wild life in back yard. Many kinds of birds, turtles, alligators and even a bunny in the front yard.

Great stay

We stayed here 15 years ago, so we were excited to see what it looked like. The city and surrounding areas have grown a lot, in a good way. The house is very comfortable for our family of 7, with excellent amenities. The pool and spa were great for a relaxing day at home.

Great Vacation Spot

We had a great vacation at the home! The home was clean and welcoming upon arrival. Everything you need to know is made up in a convenient handbook, with information about the home, activities and local attractions. The pool area was fantastic! It backs on to a little pond which is great for watching all the local wildlife, including the resident alligator! The home is filled with plenty of activities as well, the games room in the garage was a hit for us, there are plenty of books, board games and movies for the kids as well. The location of the home is close to many restaurants and fun places to check out. A short (20ish minutes to Disney) and almost any shopping plaza, you can’t go wrong with the location of the house. Overall it was a fantastic stay!!

Lovely villa in a safe, picturesque gated estate.

Nice, spacious villa overlooking a small lake (we saw a couple of small alligators on our first morning!). Villa is very well stocked with almost everything you’ll need during your stay. A complimentary bottle of wine was a very welcome surprise after a long journey and a late evening arrival at the property. The private estate is gated and felt very safe throughout our two-week stay. The only slightly negative comment we have is that we noticed a huge amount of dust and fluff covering the air-con vents throughout the property and a number of cobwebs over some of the walls. This didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the villa however, but may be worth mentioning to the people who manage the property. Overall we would highly recommend this villa.

Great place!

The house was in a quiet, safe neighborhood. There is a small mini golf course and playground in the neighborhood, which was fun. The kids enjoyed the pool and being able to spread out in the house. We had great communication with Jane. It was fun to see the wildlife in the water in the backyard: small alligators, turtles, and birds. There were a plentiful amount of bath and beach towels. The kitchen had basic supplies. We had to provide our own additional garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels. Overall, we had a nice stay! House was perfect

Our family had a great time at this house. We were there for softball and the location was perfect. The house had everything we needed. The pool was excellent. The extra money for a heated pool was well worth it. If we come back to this area, we will be back.

Beautiful Home!

The home is beautiful, and the space was a perfect size. We had five guests - two adults and three (mostly grown) teenagers. The teens each had their own room, and we all had the ability to spread out and not be in each others' space the entire time. The host immediately reached out to me when I had one small question, which really didn't have anything to do with the house. Their communication was top notch! The location to Disney and Universal can't be beat! We were an easy drive to any of the parks (less than 25 minutes most days!) but far enough away that we didn't feel like we were in a tourist trap.

Florida Vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It offered all the amenities of home, and the proximity to the parks was just right. Quiet neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. House was as advertised.

Nice home with plenty to do

We traveled with our in laws and children. Everyone was able to spread out and have their own space, which we loved. After long days at the amusement parks it was nice to relax in the spa or swim. The alligators in the pond out back were a fun thing to watch also. We did use the pool table and Foosball table that's located in the garage, great fun for the kids and adults. The home was clean and located conveniently close to grocery and other stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Vacation

We stayed for 8 days and everything was amazing. The house was clean and welcoming, very safe and quiet neighborhood. The property is close by to everything, Disney world is about 20 min away and shopping centers are 5-10 min from it. Great customer service and communication with owner, if we had any questions or requests they got resolved really fast without any problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!! 😊

My review

Everything was perfect my family and I slept on the sofa because I noticed that the bed set was not washed I smelled a men’s Cologne all over the pillows and blankets other than that my stay was great I love the alarms for all pool doors safe for children the house is nice and spacious!! Comfortable Stay

I enjoyed my time at this property. The only thing I wished could’ve been different and/or listed prior to booking is the limited washcloths. We had to purchase some to accommodate our family. The other thing was the heated pool hours. I wasn’t aware the was a cut off period. Couldn’t enjoy the heated or jets after a certain time. Most of our evenings were late due to being out all day. Otherwise the staff was really good.

Great month long stay

Great communication with owner and property manager. We had some minor issues that came up during our month long stay and the property manager was always over same day to resolve. Great gated community and it was really nice to have the pond and wildlife to look at from the pool. Our kids loved the clubhouse!

Overall good, needs a couple minor tweaks

My wife and I and our two kids (ages 3 & 1) stayed for the month of February. The Villa was pretty good and with a couple small tweaks could be incredible. Pros: Great location and close to everything you need. Ample towels. Having an abundance of beach towels was very helpful! Very reliable internet (wife and I both worked from home for a bit and the internet never missed a beat). The pack and play and children's high chair were very nice to have. Bathroom in every bedroom was a great accommodation. Having a BBQ for use was great. Management Company is very responsive and helpful! We had a couple minor issues and they were right on top of it getting them fixed. Cons: The outlets on the outside of the house didn’t work. Pool blanket is in very rough shape and should be replaced. It's pretty old and brittle and the plastic pieces would break off and be floating all over the pool. Carpet is also in very rough shape and should at the very least get a deep cleaning if not replaced completely. Dust bunnies around all the edges in the living room and just generally worn down. The beds could be more comfortable and are loud when you sit/lay on them. Lots of squeaking. BBQ is in rough shape and almost fell apart when I moved it. Actually had Tim from the management company put a few extra screws in it so it wouldn’t fall apart. Overall, we had a wonderful stay for the month we were there. We spent a TON of time in the pool/hot tub, hit Magic Kingdom, Sea World, Disney Springs and Celebration during our stay. I also golfed at Highlands Reserve and Celebration Golf Club (HIGHLY recommend Celebration). Tim and Debbie from the Management Company were wonderful as was the homeowner, Jane. All were highly communicative and accommodating. Thank you!

Florida Vacation Christmas 2019

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and the New Year and I have to say that our villa was great! The accommodation was really nice and kept to a high standard and was a home away from home. The villa was well equipped with everything you would need and was well located within easy drive of the main attractions. About a 30min drive to the Disney Parks and around 45mins to Universal and the Airport. Wallmart is only 5mins over the road (open 24hrs). The kids enjoyed the games room and the swimming pool. The High Grove estate is really nice, well maintained and is peaceful. When we arrived at the villa we were greeted with a Christmas tree, a bottle of wine and a card which was a really nice touch. Communications with Jane prior to our arrival was first class - she sent us a good welcome pack containing all the details for the villa, places to visit and eat at and some maps to help us get to the villa. The information pack in the villa was also very useful in terms of info around using the tv system, bin collections, emergency contact details,etc. If and when we return to Orlando again we would definitely stay in Jane's villa and would highly recommend it to others.

Lovely villa

We have had a great time, the villa is in such a quiet location but with everything you need within ten minutes. Only twenty minutes to Disney and loads of restaurants really near. The villa has everything you will need, plus the pool area is great, we had pool heating as we were visiting in December and it was so warm. The beds are comfy, it’s like a fabulous home from home. We will definitely return. Loved the conservation view, saw loads of turtles,, but no alligators 🐊.

Why the owner chose a villa in this location
We loved the villa as soon as we saw it. We wanted a modern villa that had a view and definitely did not look into other people’s pools.

Unique benefits of the property
We are extremely close to all the theme parks, golf courses, shops and restaurants. The property is extremely quiet and and you can enjoy sitting by the pool until late, taking in the sunshine and the stunning view across the conservation area.

We purchased the property because we wanted a modern villa with uninterrupted views, all mod cons, and the location to be quiet yet close to all the major attractions. We can be in our favourite restaurant in 5 mins drive and within 10-15 mins be at all the major Disney attractions. Additionally Orlando airport is only 45 minutes drive away.

We love High Grove, it is a small gated community, unique in its appearance and having a distinct Mediterranean look and feel to it.
