Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and balanced review. We’re glad your family enjoyed the spacious layout and peaceful waterfront setting, and we appreciate your kind words about our team and their responsiveness during the unexpected issues at arrival. We’re truly sorry for the inconveniences with the locks, hot water, AC, and the confusion around the pool schedule — that’s not the experience we aim to provide. Your notes about the dock and entryway are also helpful, and we’ll be sure they’re reviewed for updates. Thank you again for the feedback and for staying with us. Madison, Railey Vacations

We're happy to hear that the house was perfect for your multi-generational group and that you all enjoyed the on-site amenities. We appreciate your feedback about the trail to the boat dock and the skylights. While we can't control the natural terrain, we'll look into adding shades to the skylights to improve the sleeping experience. We look forward to welcoming you back next year Suzanne! Our apologies for the issues you and your guests experienced while staying in our vacation home. We strive to make all of our homes comfortable for our guests and are disappointed when we fall short of that mark. Please know that the drywall stain was from a previous water leak, which was repaired and treated to prevent mold prior to your arrival. The drywall was scheduled to be replaced after your departure. All work has been completed, and a thorough evaluation showed no mold present. All comforters have been washed, and all T.V.’s and fireplaces have been checked and are fully functional. We are happy that you were able to connect with our customer care representative and together reach a satisfactory conclusion. Again, we apologize and hope that you will reach back to us directly for your next Deep Creek Lake vacation and give us the opportunity to win back your trust.

Thanks for staying with us John! We hope you had a great time and please come see us again soon! Madison, Railey Vacations
