Our building is a 100 year old brick building that formerly was the headquarters and showroom of the B. Mifflin Hood Brick Company. The building is slated to go on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. We live upstairs in a portion of the building, and we are opening an art gallery in 2016 in the space above this apartment. Building is stand alone with its own parking.

Space is fully furnished. New roman shade window treatments on all five windows featuring fun, geometric prints. Gray painted cement floors throughout, and in bathroom, original brick tile flooring. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and cooking implements, and includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, stainless steel sink with new faucet, stove / oven, and microwave. All appliances and cabinets in kitchen are brand new. New granite countertops in kitchen. New stacked washer and dryer in separate closet. Separate clothes closet and storage area.

Guests have their own separate entry with a keyless entry lock. Off street parking for one car is included. There is room for a second car to park in back of first car if needed. Parking is immediately in front of entrance to apartment. Apartment is garden level.
We are available throughout your stay. We live on site, above the apartment, and will check you in personally and show you around if needed. We also can give you information on the area including local events, great local restaurants, bars and things you can enjoy in Atlanta.
We live in the beautiful, historic neighborhood known as Virginia Highland, and we are located on the fabulous Atlanta Beltline. We are minutes away from the neighborhoods of Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Midtown, and the Virginia Highland shopping district. A Kroger, a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe's grocery store are a 5-10 minute walk away. Two Starbucks are a 5 minute walk in either direction on the Beltline. A movie theater, nail salon, dry cleaners are also a 5 minute walk away. Down the Beltline are several shopping plazas full of restaurants and stores, including the new adaptive reuse Ponce City Market complex which houses numerous upscale retail stores and restaurants. At the end of the Beltline, a two mile walk or bike ride away, there is also the adaptive reuse Krog Street Market that also has local food and retail.
Two parks are within 1 mile of the apartment on the Beltline - one is the fabulous Piedmont Park, a classically large and beautiful park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. The other park is the new Old Fourth Ward Park, located on the grounds of the old Ponce de Leon Amusement Park. Both parks feature lovely paths and water features - true oases in the midst of the big city!
We live directly on the Atlanta Beltline at the Greenwood Avenue access point. The Beltline is a pedestrian as well as bike friendly path that will eventually run in a circle for 22 miles around Atlanta's central business district. There are several Marta Bus stop close by and a Marta Train station a quick 5 minute drive away. The centralized location also allows for Uber or Lyft to be easily affordable.

About Laura Adams
We live in the building on the main floor, and we are opening an art gallery in the space above this apartment. We love Atlanta and this wonderful Midtown / Virginia Highland location. We are both artists and entrepreneurs.
Laura Adams purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Laura Adams chose Virginia Highland
You won't find a better location to stay that is more fun in Atlanta. We are sitting in the middle of an urban oasis, surrounded by parks and walking trails. The restaurant scene within walking or biking distance is awesome. We wanted to live here to experience the best that urban life, with all its rewards, has to offer. The building is a lovely example of early 20th century masonry architecture, and was built by a wonderful man who was an important historical figure in Atlanta's history.
What makes this Apartment unique
Location, quiet, and charm! The apartment is very quiet and cozy. The location is superb - you don't need a car to get around the area. The building is a charming example of early 20th century architecture.

Enjoyed my visit to Atlanta with great accommodations, great location & wonderful hosts.
Stayed two nights - wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing location right on the belt line. Will return!
Another wonderful stay! Laura was so accommodating for us with our special request!!! Hope to return soon!!!!
Great location and great accomodations for extended stay
The apartment was wonderful and Laura and Andrew were great welcoming me. I stayed for a little over 3 months for graduate school and they welcomed me and my cat without hesitation. The location is phenomenal, within walking distance to practically everything. Definitely a great spot for short term stays without the hassle of bringing furniture/kitchen supplies. Will definitely be staying here next time I plan a trip to Atlanta!
Bethany was a delightful guest, along with her sweet kitty. We love introducing people to the Atlanta we know and love, and Bethany was no exception. She was considerate, communicative and generally all around wonderful. We would love to host both of them again!
Owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was just enough for me, my husand, and our dog.
Excellent location within feet of the Beltline. Parking right outside your door. VERY clean. Everything you need. Good communication with owners making checking in stress free. The location of this apartment is what makes it such a great rental....so close to Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, and the Virginia Highlands restaurants and shops. You can easily walk to the Trader Joes shopping center. There is a bike share station practically right outside your door. You could (and we did) park your car and not move it for days because everything you need is within walking or biking distance. This will be our "go to" spot for any future trips to Atlanta. Loved everything about it.
On the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail in between Piedmont Park and Old Fourth Ward Park. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping. One block from Ponce City Market, Trader Joe's, cinema. Fabulous shopping and dining in an urban oases.
