Cana Lua is located in a unique environment. surrounded by Mediterranean forest, full of pine trees. Facing an amazing sea view. Unfortunately, this summer 2024 we are suffering construction noise due to a condo that it is being built across the canyon.
It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room, dinning room, summer kitchen with BBQ, swimming pool, chill out area by the pool.

If you are interested in practicing yoga in a Balinese palapa during your stay, ask me about it.

We had a great time! Beautiful clean ibiza house and really helpfull owners 🥰 Nice pool and Close to the beach.The road towards the house is a little rough, but than again we are dutchies! Thank you for a realy Nice stay!

One week Ibiza with friends

The house was really as shown in the pictures, it was very clean and perfect for our vacation. I was never before in Ibiza and wasn‘t aware that the street to the house was really bumpy and offroad. The only complain was the construction site on the other site, they started at 7:30 everyday and worked until 7 pm, it was really noisy sometimes.

Cana Luà is a traditional Ibicencan home, thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for cooking or dining al fresco. Evenings are unforgettable—the famous Ibiza sunsets spill across the horizon, and can be admired from the garden or the terrace. The property offers generous outdoor spaces, including a “chill-out” zone where we practiced morning yoga, and a decent size pool that is well maintained. Our host was exceptionally kind and accommodating, adding a personal warmth that made the stay feel effortless. While a car is must, the location rewards you with three idyllic beaches just a short drive away and a local restaurant nearby. The ongoing construction did not really disturbed us. Altogether, Cana Luà is a serene retreat, infused with the soul of traditional Ibiza—we would be delighted to return.

We came back for the 2nd time in this house. It is a magical place, quiet and close to the most beautiful beaches of Ibiza. The house has an incredible charm. Sandra who welcomes us is an incredible person with always a smile. We hope for one thing: to go back as soon as possible.

Nice and cozy retreat away from mass tourism

This nice retreat good for a max of 6 people has a nice garden, perfect terrace, is located remote. All equipment to "survive" is there, it's simple and expedient, not luxurious. The garden and the surrounding is perfect, it's quiet and safe. I would defenitely come back in summer time.

Left after 3 days

We left the house after 3 days. We were feeling so unhappy, some of us were crying during the night. These were the issues we encountered: * No airconditioning - opening all doors and windows was not sufficient to cool down the bedrooms - sleeping was undoable. We had to sleep outside during the day to make up for the lost sleep :( * Huge construction site right nextdoor with loud noise all day - should have been mentioned before booking * Master bedroom only accessible from outside - not mentioned on the site * The beds were too hard (concrete base) and too small * Worn down furniture, exterior and fittings * Almost no free electrical sockets * Small and ill-equipped kitchen * Low water pressure in the shower downstairs * Insufficient lighting in the bathroom downstairs * House is smaller than the pictures suggest on the site * Lots of mouse droppings around the pool * Extremely high levels of chlorine in the pool - irritation of eyes * Only 2 sunbeds * Terrible access road - our backs ache from it. Dear Audrey. So sorry to hear all this about your stay. I know that you were not comfortable at your stay. And I know that you left beacause of this. I also know that you admit that you didn’t choose the right house for you and your family. And these things happens. Not every house is for every people. Fair enough. Normally I don’t reply to the reviews, but in this case I need to do it. There is no air conditioning in the house, it is mention in the site and you knew it. No one had complain before about it. But unfortunately you came in the middle of a heat wave. There is a construction nearby and it is mention in the site. So, you knew and you didn’t care about it when you book it. Around the pool there is bird droppings, no mouse. The birds come to drink at the pool, so maybe the levels of Chlorine are not that high… There are plugs all over the house and extensions in every room to plug different devices. What for you is a bad access road for others is a nice dusty path to get away from busy areas. And I could go until infinite and back but I understand that obviously our house didn’t fit in your style. Our house is rustic. It is no a modern minimalistic house. The question is why did you book it?

A wee slice of paradise

We wanted to rent somewhere where we could just chill out, relax and above all have total privacy for our 10 day trip in Ibiza, Cana Lua definitely delivered. The house is surrounded by the most gorgeous garden with everything you dream of, palm trees, a gorgeous pool, nothing to hear but birds singing in the back ground, the odd lizard to watch and of course a sea view to watch the sunset. We thought the house was beautiful, very Spanish in its layout, stairs up to master bedroom accessed from outside. The outdoor furniture was really good quality and extremely comfortable, this standard of detail was throughout the property. There was just me and my husband so we didn't use the summer kitchen during our stay but what a wonderful space it would be for a family dinner, we did workout that you could time your evening meal perfectly to watch the sunset from the summer kitchen. The property is about 10 minute drive up a dirt track road, we already knew this before booking. The first few trips up and down it where a bit of shock and we were glad we had hired a SUV but after a few days when we looked around us and seen the quality of the other villas along the track we accepted that this was the way things are in Ibiza. To be honest there were a few days we didn't even leave the property and when we did we were always eager to get back to our own private paradise. Sandra was a wonderful host. We stayed in early May and the weather was not good to us on the first couple days of our trip, the evenings were very chilly. We text Sandra and she immediately came to our rescue, her partner left us a wheel barrow of logs etc to light the downstairs open fire and a heater for the bedroom upstairs. The following day he left us a log supply, enough for weeks. In the end sitting around the open fire each evening with a glass of wine was a wonderful experience. We are now looking back at our stay at this property with wonderful memories and would highly recommend you book. xx

Eigentlich 4 Sterne ,aber die Großbaustelle nebenan brachte einen Punkt Abzug.Das hätte man vorher kommunizieren können das 100m Luftlinie eine Baustelle ist,die einen entspannten Tag im Haus und am Pool unmöglich machte.Von Früh halb Acht bis Abends gegen 20 Uhr bester Lärm.Klingt jetzt vielleicht nach Jammern auf hohem Niveau,aber wir reden hier ja nicht von 3Mark 80 für eine Woche.Wetter war super,die Villa könnte auch mal wieder eine Auffrischung vertragen,Pool war super.Die Anfahrt zum Objekt war auch eine Herausforderung für das Auto.2Kilometer feinster Feldweg.Bedenkt das bei der Auswahl des Mietwagens.Ansonsten war alles OK,die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich.

Bulle de bien être

Une fantastique parenthèse rythmée par le calme d'Ibiza en cette fin du mois de Février. Le logement est propre, l'accueil irréprochable et Sandra est une personne merveilleuse. Je ne peux que vous recommander le logement et son hôte après ce beau séjour. C'était notre deuxième fois à Ibiza dans le Nord de l'Ile, toujours aussi sublime et magnétique Ibiza.

Fijn eiland

We hebben twee weken mogen genieten van dit fijne huis! We zochten een typisch Ibiza huis en vonden dit fijne huis met een heerlijk zwembad. Gelukkig een goede Wifi voor twee tienermeiden!. Het huis is heel knus met verschillende hoogtes. Voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn is dit huis minder geschikt. De communicatie met de eigenaresse was zeer goed. Hier en daar zie je dat het huis wel wat verouderd is. De tegels van het terras zijn versleten en hier en daar zie je nog meer slijtage. De bedden waren erg lekker. Hebben we zeker anders meegemaakt. Wat echt wel een heel groot minpunt was, waren de bouwwerkzaamheden die 7 dagen in de week van 7.00 tot 19.00 duurden. Uitslapen was niet mogelijk! Uiteraard kon de eigenaresse daar niets aan doen maar wellicht de gasten vooraf informeren is wel fijn.

Exceptionnelle maison ou le luxe réside dans la simplicité, le charme et l'authenticité!

Cette villa est incroyable! dès que vous arrivez, vous vous sentez merveilleusement bien. la maison est tout simplement magique. l'architecture de la villa est top, l'agencement des pièces est très bien pensée et chacun trouvera son espace grâce aux 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Mais le meilleur se trouve à l'extérieur, la piscine est magnifique, vous disposez de plusieurs terrasses (ombragées ou au soleil), d'une cuisine exterieure, d'un espace repas situé sous un préau donc à l'abri du soleil... Concernant la vue, c'est juste AMAZING!!! Le jardin est extrêmement bien planté de jolis arbres qui vous garantissent la plus grande intimité et vous bronzerez avec une exposition sud face à une foret de pins et la mer à l'horizon... Nous avons beaucoup aimé la gentillesse de l'hôte. Petit plus, la maison est située dans l'ouest de l'ile là où les plages sont les plus belles tout en étant à 20 minutes de la bouillante ville d'Ibiza. Bref, c'est THE PLACE TO BE

Sehr sehr netter Kontakt zu Sandra und ihrem Ehemann, hilfsbereit, überaus freundlich, tolle Tipps für Restaurants, Vermittlung einer Yogalehrerin vor Ort… eine wunderschöne Bootstour…alles perfekt.!!!Das Haus liegt idyllisch, ruhig mit großartiger Aussicht. Es ist liebevoll und ibizenkisch eingerichtet, es fehlt nichts und alles ist sehr sauber! Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt, waren mit unserem erwachsenen Sohn und dessen Freundin da, die das großzügige Zimmer mit separatem Zugang und eigener Terrasse in der ersten Etage bewohnt haben..auch das war genau passend für uns , jeder hatte somit seinen eigenen Bereich. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen…

we will stay here again

after 10 years of visiting Ibiza we have seen a lot of properties. this one stands out. it has an authentic vibe. beautifully decorated. the groundfloor of the house is practical and perfectly equiped (large fridge and freezer, knifes that are sharp...). we had all our meals at the outside kitchen which is a marvelous space to enjoy the changing of the light. the studio on the first floor is spacious and has a terrace with an amazing view on the surrounding nature and the sea. the pool has a few wide steps which was fun for the youngest (3y) who can't swim yet. the other two (9 and 6) loved jumping in the pool. although only May the water was warm enough for each of us. it has a lot of sun from the early morning and some shade at the hotest time of the day. we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return.

Beautiful villa and wonderful host

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at Cana Lua. Sandra was an excellent host, she helped us whenever we needed. We also did a great yoga session with Sandra and went on a beautiful boat trip to formentera which she organised. The villa itself is beautiful, practical and open planned - it is well positioned on the sunset side of the island. The track to the house is very long and I would recommend renting an SUV if possible. 10/10 - hopefully will be back soon!

Magic Place

We spent 5 weeks in Sandra’s house and had an amazing time. The location in the pine forest with sunset views is stunning. Often we did not leave the house and just enjoyed the nature and comfort from morning till evening. The house is not new and has a little ‘patina’ but everything is clean and in order. We felt really at home which is also due to Sandra, the host. She is amazing and made the trip perfect. Great recommendations and also every wish we had in the house was immediately arranged. Also communication was perfect. Some people complained about the road. Yes, it’s a dirt road but the bumps were fixed during our stay. So you can easily go with a regular car. The reward for this road is privacy in the nature with nice views. We can definitely recommend this house and will come back!
