Comfy chalet in the middle of the montains

Everything in the chalet was perfect and it's very close to a lot of very nice hikes or climbs with your road/mountains bike.

Great location, lovely house and practical for us as a base. 8 fitted in fine. A few days of better weather would have topped it all off! Lovely week had by all.

Wonderful Christmas and New Year Holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet d'Alpage. The owners, David and Justine are very nice and helpfull people. The chalet was clean, well equipped, warm and cosy and the log burner is a nice touch. The hot water was super hot and plentiful, and the bathroom had both an excellent shower and a comfortable bath. Nice location and easy acces to all areas of interest (we had a car though). We can't thank enough to David and Justine for all their help and guidance, and we will definitely go back for a summer expirience. Thank you guys.

Great chalet in a convenient location for skiing

Comfortable chalet with plenty of space and very cosy living area. The weather wasn’t great whilst we were there so we made the most of the log burner. The journey from Geneva airport was so easy and we were able to pick up skis in Le Biot which was really handy. We had two days in Morzine (less than 20 mins) and the rest of the time used the Ardent lift by Lake Montriond (also 20 mins). We had two visits to the restaurant in Le Biot and the food was excellent- can particularly recommend the fondue and the braserade ( like a mini BBQ on the table).

Amazing house in beautiful quiet area.

Spacious, more than adequately equipped house for both summer and winter activities. Very well strategically placed between Morzine and Evian, with direct road to Chatel and Switzerland. At the same time placed in a sleepy town away from main route. Wonderful view of Alps in the morning. Very good communication with owners, simple procedures with check-in and out. Though locally no activities or spaces for younger kids, except for small garden. There are some local trails but a car is a must pretty much. We had wonderful stay.

Excellent Chalet Highly Recommended

This chalet is very equipped and is maintained to an excellent standard, it can easily accommodate two families and is well positioned for the mountains. The accommodation is spread over three floors, 3 bedrooms (two doubles, 1 twin) and a bathroom on the top floor, dining room kitchen, lounge and toilet on the 2nd floor with the fourth bedroom (bunk beds with a pull out if required), garage and wash-room on the ground floor. The chalet has modern TV's, DVD player's and a CD player in the lounge with a good selection of modern films and music and has SKY and WIFI installed. The chalet furnishings are really excellent and we would highly recommend this chalet for skiing or for exploring the lovely countryside. The owners of the chalet provide a first class service and provide local information to assist you in enjoying your stay. Book with confidence and enjoy the best France has to offer.

Superb Chalet, comfortable and well-euipped

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet d'Alpage. The hosts David and Justine were a pleasure to deal with. The chalet was clean, well equipped, warm and cosy (especially with the log burner going!) and everything you could need is provided. We also enjoyed several films from their extensive DVD collection! Our daughter especially enjoyed the basement Bunk-Room bedroom. With the radiator on it was warm and cosy, and beautifully quiet. The hot water was super hot and plentiful, and the bathroom had both an excellent shower and a comfortable bath - great for those tired ski-legs! It's about a 20 minute drive to the lift station at Ardent (to access Avoriaz), or about 35 minutes to the lift station at Nyon (to access Morzine/Les Gets) - both have free parking. Due to the low levels of light pollution here, the view of the stars in the night sky was absolutey amazing. Don't forget to step outside and have a look! Thanks once again for an amazing holiday David and Justine!

Het huis is erg groot en netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Top! De communicatie is erg goed met de eigenaar. Er is zelfs een bakker en skiverhuur dichtbij. Naar de pistes is wel ruim 15-20min rijden over een slingerweg, maar supermooie omgeving. Een goede uitvalsbasis, je kan alle kanten op.

Excellent séjour

Un chalet très agréable et plutôt bien placé! La route est peu passante et on est au calme! Le chalet est très bien équipé et fort confortable! Au total nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour. Une voiture est utile pour rallier les parking des Ardents et Montriond, mais il y a un arrêt de bus à cent mètres du chalet

Fijn huis!

De locatie is zomer en winter top! Het huis is zeer volledig ingericht: tot mixer, kruiden, spelletjes toe. De huiskamer lijkt me voor 8 personen in de winter wel eerder krap. Wij hebben veel kunnen buiten zitten, dus dat was geen probleem. Alleen jammer dat de bakker in Le Biot net vakantie had. We zijn gaan wandelen, naar het meer van Genève en Montriod geweest, speleo gaan doen... Wij willen zeker nog eens terug komen.

Petit coin tranquille en montagne

Chalet bien équipé au calme, trés bien placé pour les randonnées en famille (ex: Mont Ouzon avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Mont Blanc et Lac Leman). Activités de montagne à 17mn en voiture. Idéal en famille. Une superette est à 7mn en voiture pour les courses. Les règles du Chalets sont en anglais, les chaines de tv satellite sont également toutes anglaises. Trés bon moment passé

Schöner Sommerurlaub

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Le Biot. Das Haus ist groß genug, alles was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht ist da. Ein Auto ist allerdings nötig. Die Wendeltreppe im Haus ist für Senioren oder kleine Kinder eher nicht geeignet. Die Garage ist prima um Fahrräder unterzustellen. Die Strasse vor dem Haus wird auch als Weg zum Col du Corbier genutzt, mucksmäuschenstill ist es daher nicht. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war nett und unkompliziert.

Schönes Chalet mit Blick auf die Berge

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Haus genossen. Mit zwei Personen hat man genug Platz. Das Chalet ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag so braucht. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an DVDs. Vom Haus aus kann man viele Wanderungen in der Umgebung unternehmen. Mit dem Auto erreicht man in etwa 30 Minuten den Genfer See. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war problemlos und zuvorkommend.

Sehr schöne und erholsame Urlaubswoche

Wir haben im August 2021 eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Meine Familie und ich haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und uns gut erholt. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der großzügige Wohn-Essbereich mit der gemütlichen Couch. In der Urlaubswoche haben wir zahlreiche Ausflüge zum Wandern und an den Genfersee gemacht.

Lovely chalet in the French Alps

We had a great week at Chalet d'Alpage. Biot is a lovely village and we enjoyed the walk to the boulangerie each morning for our croissants and bread. Lots of lovely places to visit in the area.

Location estivale très plaisante pour notre famille avec trois enfants. Chalet très bien situé dans une très belle région (20 mn du lac Léman, 40 mn de la Suisse, très proche des pistes de ski l'hiver). Au calme, très bien équipé et très fonctionnel. Lits faits à notre arrivée. A conseiller.

For many years we have discussed buying a property in France, and having visited this area for a number of years with our family and friends, decided that it offered the perfect location for summer and winter holidays. We have tried to make sure that the property is comfortable and provides good value for money.

The property offers tranquillity, your own space and flexibility to come and go as you please. There is never an issue with parking as we have space for 4 cars on the drive. The roads are ploughed and cleared regularly. With the convenience of your own transport, there is no waiting around in the cold for buses!
