Malena is a spacious (130sq meters), light and airy villa with private swimming pool, set in a picturesque 5 acress private land, in a quiet location with panoramic view, less than one kilometre from the traditional village of Glossa.
From infinity pool you can look over a pine-cloaked hillside, the island of Skiathos and all the way out to the sea. The villa is situated four kilometres from Loutraki harbour, where you can find a selection of shops, cafeterias and restaurants by the sea.
The detached villa Malena is tastefully furnished and the ground floor is consisted of an airy open plan kitchen fully equipped, a dining room, a bathroom and a sunny living room, which communicates with a covered terrace, where you may have breakfast or meal by staring at the magnificent sea view and the pool.
Upstairs the villa boasts comfortable accommodation in two double and one twin air-conditioned bedrooms, also features 1 jacuzzi bathroom. All bedrooms share a large veranda,where you can admire the truly panoramic view to Aegean and across Glossa village.
The villa is ideal for romantic couples and families with children, who want to spend their vacation in a luxury,quiet, totaly private surrounding with stunning view and near the amenities.

Perfect place with a beautiful view

We loved everything about our stay! The pool and view were spectacular and the house was exactly what we needed: decent sized kitchen so it was easy to make our own meals and a short drive/taxi ride to Glossa and Loutraki when we wanted to go out. Thanks!!

We accidentally got locked outside and we got a quick response from the manager who sent the cleaning person to let ua back in! The pool was too chilly for us un October but it was clean and beautiful. We rented a car and saw lots of sights and beaches. Small grocery store close by. Many of the restaurants had closed for the season, but we found what we needed. We loved the shutters for the bedrooms, the beautiful view from the upper balcony, the French doors on all the bedrooms and dinning room. Absolutely magnificent!

Wow!

We had the most amazing stay. The view is stunning (probably the best on the island) especially from the wonderful infinity pool. The house is comfortable, clean and spacious. We spent most of our time outdoors and although the road runs below the house it did not distract from our stay. Skopelos is beautiful, a boat trip a must!

A view you cant miss out on!

Just home from a week atthis villa. Villa owner, kept in touch very well in the lead up to our trip and during our trip. She was a major help when the Ferries went off due to weather and found a solution for us, cant thank her enough. The Villas location was perfect for us to explore the island, we hired a car and this was a great advantage. We loved the local town and all the villagers we met were friendly and welcoming, in each of the restaurants and cafes. Although anyone visiting check the times of supermarket and shops as they shut for a long afternoon break each day. The infinity pool is stunning, large enough for 6 adults to comfortably swim about, deep at one end. Great to cool off in and very clean. Villa was good size and plenty areas for people to chill together or seperately. We enjoyed sitting on downstairs veranda watching the sun go down with a drink. Beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of storage space in bedrooms, each opens out to upstairs large veranda. Bathrooms would both benefit from a shower attachment up high as we had to hold hose whilst showering but not the biggest problem. Downstairs bath is not as deep as upstairs one whilst helped some of our guests for access which was good for us. Kitchen has everything you need and theres a washing machine upstairs. Theres a lemon tree out the back. Ramp up to villa is steep.Would definately visit again. The most beautiful Island is a must for exploring, beaches and sea were perfect

The villa, infinity pool and views were stunning. The sunsets were amazing.

The owner met us at the port and was available during our stay for any queries we had. The noise from the road could be loud at times but did not really bother us. The wooden sun loungers definitely need replacing as they are unsafe. There was a light bulb out and the owner expected us to replace it! Inside the villa was a bit dated and needed updating. It was good having the space and two bathrooms. It was clean and the cleaners came in once during our stay. We enjoyed our stay very much as the villa was well a situated for Glossa town, just a short ride away.

Beautiful sunset

Very nice and comfortable accommodation close to Glossa. Infinity pool is the highlight. We spent most of our time in the pool. Kalliopi is an excellent host. She came to pick us up from the ferry and gave us good advice about what to see and do on the island. If there is one thing we didn’t like, that was the traffic noise. The villa, although isolated, is just off the Glossa-Skopelos road. Overall though it was a great holiday and we hope to return one day.

The view is the star!

Villa Malena was as described and was clean and functional. The draw is the outside space, with the wonderful pool; which is better than the pictures portray, and the amazing view; probably the best on the island, with the most fantastic sunsets. The island is truly beautiful, with clear, warm water and numerous beaches to enjoy. Do treat yourselves to a meal at Agnanti in Glossa, the food was delicious but the setting is wonderful. Kaliopi was very helpful and arranged car hire for us as well as offering suggestions for restaurants and excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing week at Villa Malena and will certainly consider a return visit.

Fabulous week in Glossa

Kalliopi is extremely helpful and met us from the ferry in Glossa to take us to her fantastic villa. The views from the pool and villa are jaw dropping. The villa is spacious and welcoming. It felt really special to be close enough to the village but also in your own private oasis. The island is wonderful too with so many beautiful beaches to discover and only about 40 mins away from lovely Skopelos Town. We would return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic villa in amazing location

We had a really lovely holiday here in late August / early September. The villa is in a very quiet location a couple of minutes drive from Glossa. The views from the villa are really spectacular - 180º of sea and islands and the sun sets behind the islands which provides beautiful sunsets every evening. The villa is spacious and clean and very comfortable. All of the bedrooms share one very large balcony which overlooks the sea. The owner Kalliopi is lovely and very welcoming and responded incredibly quickly when we had a couple of queries. Overall I'd really recommend this villa!

A great property with stunning views. Highly recommend

I’ve just returned from VIlla Malena after a fortnights stay with husband, son and daughter and their partners. The villa is very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Sitting on the hillside with no immediate neighbours it is quiet with stunning views out to sea (all previous reviews saying this are correct!) and beautiful sunsets. There is a road below but it didn’t bother us at all. The balcony, terrace, patio and infinity pool all share the same lovely aspect. Kalliopi was extremely helpful before our visit, met us on arrival at Glossa port and kept in touch during our stay which made it all very personal. Glossa village is an easy 1.4 km ish km walk and has a mixture of nice restaurants and rustic tavernas. Hilly narrow streets and alleys weave between the houses, crafty shops and eateries. Glossa harbour is another walk on down the hill with further good cafes and restaurants. We had a lazy stay but did enjoy hiring a boat to sail round the island (Nicos and Dora- Neo Klima) and exploring with quad bikes ( also Neo Klima). There are more water activities off some of the busier beaches. A great find which we would highly recommend

Stunning views

Villa Malena has stunning views out to sea and over to Skiathos from all the terraces and infinity pool and fabulous sunsets. It is right above the main road into Glossa which can be noisy sometimes but generally ok. The walk into Glossa is about 20-25 mins along this road, whilst ok in the day a bit tricky in the dark. We really enjoyed our holiday here relaxing by the pool and chilling by candlelight on the top balcony at night. The outside pool area is great with full sun most of the day, although the shower is not in an ideal position, down the drive away from the pool on rough terrain! The villa itself is a bit tired in some places and in need of updating/replacing appliances.... The dishwasher baskets either do not extend fully or come off the tracks, meaning the contents crash onto the floor or your feet if you're not careful. The showers in both bathrooms are hand held with no brackets on the wall which is a complete nuisance. The washing machine didn't spin. The sheets on the master king size bed were only double flat sheets which meant they didn't fit properly and came up and were uncomfortable. All the kitchen contents need updating, there are a few old mugs which are either chipped or freebies e.g. Nescafé, mac D etc The villa was cleaned once which was during our 2nd weeks hol when we were there, a few more times would be better. This is just a few niggles as the property is advertised as luxury and it needs updating to achieve this. However, this didn't spoil our holiday we made do with it. We were met at the port in Loutraki by the owners representative who was very helpful and took us to the villa, after which we hired a car from Clima car hire. The car was brand new and the company easy to deal with, no hidden costs. The owner was in contact by txt whilst we were there to check everything was ok and dealt with any problems that arose. We explored the island and discovered many lovely beaches and areas of beauty, it really is Greece in all its glory as an unspoilt, very friendly island.. Glossa and Loutraki is the quieter end of the island and night life is very quiet especially in September, sometimes we were the only ones In a taverna. All the tavernas we ate in at Glossa were good and very friendly, Loutraki fish restaurants not so good. We will definitely be back to further explore this beautiful island.

Breathtaking view, outstanding pool

We stayed 2 weeks with our 2 children. The house offers all modern comfort (good wifi, air conditioning in the rooms,...) but the most amazing was the 180 degrees view of the see from the house and the pool. The owner Kalliopi was very gentle with us and make sure we had all we needed. Housewives come every week to clean the house. Fantastic experience we would recommend to families paying attention to quiet and relaxing environment with beautiful view Greet, Pascal & their children from Belgium

Fabulous! Location perfect! Pool beautiful! Owner extremely helpful.

We shared 3 weeks in this lovely villa for part of the time with another family. We wanted "away from it all" and that's exactly what we got. All spacious bedrooms with air con. Super balcony with shade and plenty of good quality sun loungers around the beautiful pool, which our children were barely out of! Great size, depth and temperature of pool. Location was fabulous- near the lovely local town of Glossa- away from the tourists. A car is advised to be able to explore the stunning island. The midweek clean with fresh linen and towels was exceptional and very well received. Kalliopi was helpful and available to welcome our friends at the port and was on hand if anything went wrong (nothing did!). A road runs at the bottom of the property, but it's not that busy and wasn't an issue. Would certainly recommend this property and location. Thank you Kalliopi and family.

Wonderful view and location

A great week,with the owners picking us up from the port,booking a car for us and being on hand to help and advise with anything we required.Thankyou so much Kalliopi. The villa is in a excellent location,with beautiful views and sunsets incorporating a great pool.The village of Glossa is a 15-20 minute walk,where we ate at a lovely restaurant and taverna.Two good cocktail bars with rooftop views.We loved the steep narrow. streets with their lovely traditional balconies,leading up to the main square.Which is delightful,live music and traditional food and atmosphere.The port of Loutraki has a good fish restaurant further down the hill.We hired taxis quite a lot,5euros,villa to Glossa.A car is a must,probably 2 days for exploring and then you can revisit beaches etc you liked..No where is too far. The villa is lovely with good sized balconies,deckchairs,sunbeds etc.Spacious lounge and kitchen adequate,although the bathrooms are a bit tired and dated.All in all a lovely stay in a lovely location with helpful owners.

A rare jewel.

Our first time in Skopelos, and we were lucky enough to have selected to stay at Villa Malena. A stones throw from the quiet little village of Glossa, with its steep stepped streets, lazy cats, and beautiful little cafes, the villa sits on the side of a hill, high above the port overlooking the Aegean sea. Sunsets are stunning, and there is ample space on the two balconies, or by the pool, to relax, watching the sun go down and the lights of the fishing boats setting their nets. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and very well maintained, but you will not want to stay indoors, when you can share such a lovely pool with the dipping Swallows. The owner, Kalliopi, is charming, and put us in touch with the local quad bike rentals, a must if you want to explore the forest and clifftop tracks and trails, which are not suitable for cars or bikes. A holiday full of fun, and memorable experiences. Go soon!

What a fabulous villa!

Our holiday at Villa Milena on Skopelos goes down as one of the best holidays ever. This amazing villa has a great location and terrific views looking out towards Skiathos over the water. Whether from the pool, or from the terrace it is simply breath taking. The villa is spacious, light and airy and built by Philip the owner to a very high standard. It is tastefully and comfortably decorated and has all the mod cons - dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi etc. All 3 bedrooms have direct access to the top terrace, again with those amazing views. It wasn't just the villa that made our stay such a success. Philip and Kalliopi who own it, gave us the warmest of welcomes and looked after us extremely well. And the island of Skopelos is a hidden gem with friendly people and delicious food. We certainly couldn't fault any of it and I highly recommend getting in touch with Philip and Kalliopi if you're thinking about a holiday on this beautiful island.

Even better than the pictures!! Amazing Villa.

We rented this villa as a family of 6 in June 2015, my Mum, Dad, sister and her fiance, myself and my partner. To say we had a good time would be a huge understatement, it was a dream holiday and I wish we were still there! Kalliopi was so kind and helpful organising the booking and Phillip was always on hand for advice and helping us out while we were staying on the island, he even came to get us and our bags to and from the ferry port. The villa was clean as a whistle and the entire house, pool and views are beautiful. We rented a jeep and a scooter to get around the island and walked into Glossa a couple of evenings for dinner (an easy 20 minute walk down the road). I can't recommend this Villa enough. This villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Greek hospitality at its very best . Philip the owner was fantastic he helped us out and nothing was a problem. The villa itself was equipped to a very high standard with a amazing swimming pool. A bbq is provided . The rooms where spotless and very comfortable. 10 out of 10 for this gem in the sun . What a lovely place!

We stayed at Villa Malena for 9 days and everything was always excellent. The location is great, the property ranges in sizes from 3 bedrooms, livingroom and kitchen - great for a group. I loved having a wonderful pool and also the barbecue areas, so that if you don't feel like going to the beach you can lounge right at the Villa; which we did several times. The owners are professional and friendly, if there is anything you need they are quick to help you find it. The pool, the grounds, the villas were all very clean. If you are looking for a quite relaxing place to stay with all the amenities of home, this is the place. I can't wait to return. Almost forgot to say the view from my villa of the sea. Just breath taking. Thank you Phillip and Kalliopi!

Great stay

Me, my husband and our son, daughter and her boyfriend have had a very great stay at Villa Malena. The house is comfortable, the view over the Aegean see is stunning . The villa is set among olive trees, in a quiet place, not far from the village. The owner is very kind and respectful. We enjoyed the pool everyday.

The perfect family villa

Great stay at a great villa. Skopelos is a fantastic island with a great deal of beaches to discover. Villa Malena is a very convinent house with the best of views and a pool wich was used every day. Motorbikes or a car is necesarry to get around. Thanks for a great stay!

My name is Kalliopi and I come from Glossa village in Skopelos island,I am a teacher of Greek literature and my husband is a civil engineer.We live in Volos (a city in mainland), but we spend the late spring and the summer in our favourite Skopelos where my mother and my relatives live. My husband is a very experienced engineer with lots of constructions on Sporades islands,so he constructed our villa, taking great care of building it safe,luxurious and comfortable for our guests.

We built the villa on a 4650 square meters family piece
of land, because we believed it was the ideal place for a house to live in.
Very near,in walking distance from our village Glossa,
and yet so private and quiet, with no one to disturb you.
We love this area because you live in unspoilt nature,
the view is amazing,changing according to weather
conditions and time of the day.
