À propos de cet hĂ©bergement

Villa indépendante avec piscine privée

AprĂšs avoir achetĂ© la propriĂ©tĂ©, nous avons personnellement supervisĂ© la restauration de cette maison en pierre typique (appelĂ©e localement "pajara") composĂ©e de deux blocs connectĂ©s, dont l'un est de forme circulaire. Construite Ă  l'origine pour stocker des outils agricoles et fournir occasionnellement un toit aux cueilleurs d'olives pendant les mois d'automne, c'est maintenant une villa entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e Ă  caractĂšre rural. L'espace extĂ©rieur est idĂ©alement organisĂ© pour profiter des longues journĂ©es ensoleillĂ©es et des fraĂźches soirĂ©es d'Ă©tĂ© au bord de la piscine et sous la grande verriĂšre ou l'ombre des oliviers. Une petite cuisiniĂšre extĂ©rieure est disponible ainsi qu'un barbecue fixe. Il y a une douche extĂ©rieure Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la piscine (10m x 5m). La maison dispose d'une connexion Wi-Fi. Surtout pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©, les visiteurs peuvent profiter de nombreux Ă©vĂ©nements religieux et culturels. Des festivals gastronomiques sont organisĂ©s presque quotidiennement par les villages environnants oĂč une variĂ©tĂ© de spĂ©cialitĂ©s et de vins locaux peuvent ĂȘtre dĂ©gustĂ©s. De nombreuses belles plages de sable et de rochers sont accessibles en quelques minutes en voiture, la plus proche Ă©tant Ă  8 minutes.

Fabulous property in a great location although a car is essential (not a problem for us). Great local beaches a short drive away both to the north and south of Gallipoli, good food and local supermarkets all at reasonable prices (especially compared to Amalfi where we had driven down from)Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings

Wonderful Villa

This villa near Sannicola was fabulous. Beautiful gardens, wonderful big swimming pool, great outdoor relaxing and entertaining areas. The property itself was extremely well equipped and comfortable. A great place to be!

It's been a great stay, as the house is beautiful and the terrace and garden are very spacious and nice. Communication with the host Emanuela functioned very quickly and easily. Livio, the man who welcomes you at the beginning, is a very nice person too! I can really recommend this holiday destination with a dream garden!

Wonderful house in a relaxing environment

Our family (2 adults + 2 children, 10 and 12 years old) spent a week in this beautiful and wonderful house on the countryside. The house and the amazing garden offered a perfect and relaxing environment and gave us a nice base for our holiday. By car you reach amazing beaches, caves and small Italian towns within 15-20 minutes. The house was spotless and the communication with the owner as well as the caretaker worked really well. We’d come back without hesitation and could strongly recommend the house any day to other families. We’ve rented houses abroad for years in different countries and this one stand out as one of the best.

Peaceful break

Fantastic property. Private pool an absolute highlight. Welcoming host and owner. All wonderful. Is in a rural location a few minutes drive to the town of Sannicola. We loved our morning visits to the local fruit/veg vans. Driving distance to Gallipoli and Lecce (an absolute gem) lovely local beaches - some are better than others so do look around. Mosquitos are an issue. Didn’t see a single snake but lots of friendly lizards/gekko’s. :)

A wonderful place to relax

I have just returned from a week's stay in the wonderful house with my husband and 3 children. The garden and pool are lovely and beautifully kept, with the bonus of a vegetable patch where we picked fresh rocket and herbs. We only wished it was later in the season so we could enjoy the tomatoes and aubergines. The outdoor dining area is great as is the shaded living area which means you can escape the sun in the middle of the day. The house is very well equipped and the pictures of the inside do not do it justice. Everything we needed was there with the added touch if some fruit, biscuits, wine and water to greet us. Emanuela responded immediately when we needed to ask for her help. One of the nicest places we have stayed - thank you.

Perfect house. Warm welcome

We had a perfect week with our two children. The house is cool and spacious (much more spacious than the impression given in the photos). The building has been very tastefully restored and the garden was immaculately kept. It felt remote and private but it's only a short drive to the shops if you need to get anything. We raided the veg patch (delicious aubergines) and enjoyed the warm breeze. Livio (the gardener) and his wife Carmela were very welcoming and were on hand to answer any questions about the property and surrounding area. Go try their sons' restaurant a ten minute drive away. We went twice. Delicious. We hope to return one day. Will

Amazing retreat in Puglia

This lovely house in Puglia was the perfect answer for our 3 week stay in Puglia. While the characteristics of the house are unique, comfortable and truly memorable, it was the interaction and attention we received from both the hosts as well as the caretakers which will be our most cherished memories. Questions about local stores, sights and restaurants were answered immediately and we enjoyed as many of the suggestions as we could fit in. The caretakers were wonderful in translating and interpreting my poor attempt at Italian and we enjoyed dining at their family's restaurant in the nearby village as well as being treated to a tour of the olive oil cooperative in our own village. All in all, we felt as though we have gained some wonderful new friends. The house was better than what is shown in the pictures, the grounds very well kept, and it is very well located for exploring both the Ionian and Adriatic coastlines.

INCREDIBLE PLACE!!

WE LOVE THIS PROPERTY!! We had a two week stay here and can't say enough about how beautiful the house and grounds are, as well as the hospitality of Emanuella and Livio!! Livio is attentive without being intrusive and is a wonderful man... he also brought us some of the sweetest fresh cantaloupes we've ever had several times. We fell in love with the Puglia region and definitely plan to return again in the future. It was extremely hot while we were there, but the AC in the rooms and the beautifully cooled swimming pool more than made up for it. The house itself is immaculately clean and well... just flat out cool... we enjoyed several sunsets from the roof and the views are spectacular. The local Super Mac is a great store to get anything you might need and Sannicola and Tuglie (Origini Cafe for coffee and pastries is a must) are both beautiful towns with abundant options for eating and drinking. It is also an easy 10-12 minute drive into Gallipoli and we spent several days enjoying that amazing town and the public beach is a great swimming and sunning option with easy parking and access. We loved the food, staff and service at the Buena Vista there with its amazing views and cool breezes and there are some really great places to eat in the alleys of the Old Town. We also spent a great day doing the coastal drive from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca... stunning drives with lots of places to stop and relax, take pics and we highly recommend L'Incanto, which is in a small village just outside of SM di Leuca. If your Italian language skills aren't at least functional here, you will need to be able to use a translator app to help, as we found very few people in the region speak English (which is actually quite cool) but you have to work at communication. Navigation if you drive can also be stressful as Google Maps can play some tricks on you when you least expect it. And if you are going to drive you should be prepared to be assertive and drive with purpose without being aggressive just because the locals do... they know the roads and customs and you don't. I grew up driving in LA and pride myself on being able to handle just about anything but this is a totally different kind of experience. I cannot say enough how great this place is and how much we appreciated being able to spend a couple of weeks here. Thank you Emanuella for the most memorable vacation ever!!

Parfait

Magnifique maison dans la campagne, mais a proximitĂ© de la plage des villes touristiques. Maison tres agreable ou meme en pleine chaleur la tempĂ©rature Ă  l’intĂ©rieur est agrĂ©able. Tonnelle magnifique qui permet de se reposer manger 
 Piscine agrĂ©able au mileu des oliviers. Litetie tres bien . Cuisine et materiel de cuisine rien ne manque . Le plus c’est Livio prĂ©sent quand il le faut , et les legumes tomates poivrons aubergines figues

Un Ă©crin de verdure

Si vous avez envie de vous mettre au vert et si vous avez envie de calme, cette maison est faite pour vous. Un vrai bonheur ! Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine est juste parfaite, la pergola trĂšs apprĂ©ciable. Tout Ă©tait parfait tant au niveau propretĂ© qu’au niveau de l’organisation. Emanuela a mĂȘme organisĂ© un petit repas pour notre accueil tardif . Une jolie attention nous attendait Ă©galement avec un assortiment de produits locaux. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette maison a part si vous n’aimez pas la compagnie des petits lĂ©zards 🩎😂

Wir hatten 18 wundervolle und sonnige Tage. Die Unterkunft, der Pool und das tolle GrundstĂŒck waren perfekt. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten die ganze Zeit ĂŒber ein Mietwagen und konnten die Gegend erkunden. Die Besitzerin sowie auch der Hausmeister Livio waren immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Livio kĂŒmmert sich sehr liebevoll um den Garten. Jeden Tag gab es frische FrĂŒchte.

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit

Wir hatten das Haus fĂŒr 7 NĂ€chte gebucht und waren absolut begeistert. Das Haus lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen. Der Pool sorgte im Besonderen bei unseren Kindern fĂŒr sehr viel Freude. Der Pool ist an einer Stelle so tief, dass man von dem kleinen Sprungbrett sehr gut in den Pool springen kann. Wir hatten schon viele HĂ€user mit Pool, jedoch war dieser vom Spaßfaktor her herausstechend. Der gesamte Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und hat mehrere Orte an denen man sich gemĂŒtlich aufhalten kann. Durch die besonders warme Zeit im Sommer waren die klimatisierten Schlafzimmer eine Wohltat in der Nacht. Emanuela ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die einem die gesamte Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Danke Emanuela fĂŒr diese tolle Zeit! Auch Livio, der sich um den Garten und Pool gekĂŒmmert hat, ist ein sehr freundlicher Mensch. Wir können den Aufenthalt uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiterempfehlen.

Entspannte SpÀtsommertage

Le Pajare liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes Sannicola mitten in Olivenhainen. Das sehr gepflegte GrundstĂŒck ist deutlich grĂ¶ĂŸer als auf den Abbildungen erkennbar, bietet jeglichen Komfort im Außenbereich und ĂŒberrascht mit vielen Details wie einem kleinen Kakteengarten, einer mit blauen Blumen geschmĂŒckten Einfahrt oder mit Zitronen- und FeigenbĂ€umen. Signor Livio empfing uns sehr freundlich. Le Pajare ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, die RĂ€ume sind großzĂŒgig geschnitten, es fehlt an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit der EigentĂŒmerin Emanuela verlief absolut erfreulich, Emanuela ist sehr sympathisch, sie antwortet stets sehr schnell, ist immer erreichbar und gibt auch gerne passende Tipps ab. Dank des großen Gartens nebst gepflegtem Pool, der ruhigen Lage des GrundstĂŒcks, der nahen attraktiven Ziele wie Gallipoli oder Otranto und den vielen schnell erreichbaren StrĂ€nde haben wir abwechslungsreiche, aber entspannte SpĂ€tsommertage verbracht, der einzige Minuspunkt - wenn man das ĂŒberhaupt so sagen darf - war, dass wir keine Gelegenheit hatten die viele Interessen mit uns teilende Emanuela persönlich kennen zu lernen. Traumhaftes Anwesen

Eines können wir mit Sicherheit sagen: in Live ist die Anlage nochmal viel schöner. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch sehr sauber. Der Außenbereich ist ebenso einfach wundervoll. Groß, gerĂ€umig, gemĂŒtlich. Die Kommunikation mit der EigentĂŒmerin klappte einwandfrei. Der einzige, kleine Haken: die Pool-Sauberkeit. Es sammelt sich viel zu schnell Dreck (von den BĂ€umen, Blumen etc) am Grund/Boden des Pools an. Da mĂŒsste man 2 mal am Tag reinigen um die Sauberkeit zu gewĂ€hrleisten. Wir hatten bereits mehr als 7 FerienhĂ€user mit Poolanlagen (Toskana, Apulien, Umbrien) mit verschiedenster Ausstattung und hatten nie Probleme damit und Wind gibt es ĂŒberall. NatĂŒrlich wurde auch hierbei sehr schnell reagiert und auch eine Reinigung vorgenommen, was wir sehr geschĂ€tzt haben. Jedoch wird die Problematik dadurch nicht dauerhaft behoben. Aber das ist nur ein kleines Manko gewesen. Was diese tolle Anlage noch ergĂ€nzen wĂŒrde, wĂ€ren ein Carport und ein Ganzkörperspiegel (Platz im Haus wĂ€re dafĂŒr genĂŒgend vorhanden) Conclusio: Wir wĂŒrden definitiv dieses Anwesen wieder buchen.

My name is Emanuela and together with my husband and children would like to welcome all our guests to our peaceful retreat! My husband and I are originally from this area but we have been living abroad, in different countries, for over twenty years. We bought this property in 2008 and had the stone house completely refurbished because we wanted to give some tangible roots to our children. We wanted them to have a sense of belonging since they were born abroad and always lived far away from their extended family. I am happy to say that this goal has been achieved! We have rented our house for many years and all our guests have always been very satisfied. Some of them have also come back.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our house is quite unique in shape and it is immersed in the typical Salento countryside: intense red soil, century old olive trees and deep scent from bushes of lavender, rosemary and sage. It is a very quiet place and the only noise during the day is the sound of the cicadas, but the nearest village with shops, cafés and good trattorias is just over a kilometer away. The swimming pool provides a welcomed sense of relief from the heat, but many different beaches are within a short drive and they are definitely worth exploring. It is also very interesting to visit the old towns of Gallipoli and Otranto, just to name a couple of unique places within a short drive distance, and it is highly recommended to explore the historic centre of Lecce with its many baroque churches and buildings.

Our house also offers the possibility to experience the delicious local cuisine. There is an abundance of restaurants or trattorias and the price for eating good quality meals is extremely reasonable. For the guests who like to cook there is a vegetable garden just a few steps away from the house and vegetables can be just picked and prepared. The house comes complete with our “guardian angel” Livio who will be welcoming the guests and can be contacted at any moment for information or assistance. He doesn’t speak English but is able to communicate. We can always be reached by phone and will try to help as much as possible.
