An absolutely stunning property! We had a wonderful summer in this beautiful, well-located, spotless home. Its elegance, with its historic stone architecture, gorgeous art, incredible handmade pottery, and high-quality linens, is paired with a gentle, welcoming, relaxed vibe, offering both privacy and many lovely common spaces to gather. The grounds are delightful (and perfectly cared for); we enjoyed the pool, outdoor meals, fresh figs and other fruit from the trees, but most of all the spacious terrazzo, with its grapevines, views to the horizon, and glorious sunsets. It’s just a 6–15 minute drive to cafés, bars, exquisite food (from simple local fare to Michelin-recommended), grocery stores, and other conveniences. If you can tear yourself away from the property and Specchia, anywhere from a 15-minute to an hour’s drive will take you to more stunning beaches and cultural activities than you could possibly get to—even in a full summer (as we had!).Sergio and Fabio were perfect hosts—available, kind, and helpful, well beyond what one could expect. For example, Sergio kept us up to date on special events in the area and even helped us get tickets to a local food festival that seemed to be sold out.My wish is that everyone has the opportunity to stay at this very special property!
