The Barn at Hammas Farm es una casa de alquiler independiente, con 1 dormitorio doble, cuarto de baño / ducha (cubículo) en la planta superior y una cocina / comedor y sala de estar totalmente equipados (esta tiene su propio sistema de calefacción central). . El granero cuenta con su propio patio y un jardín cerrado al lado, ambos con asientos. También hay otras dos áreas para sentarse cerca.
Ubicado en 10 acres de hermosos paisajes para caminar, escondido en un largo camino de asfalto sinuoso y arbolado. Un bonito arroyo corre cerca. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para relajarse y descansar, ya sea en verano o en invierno. El granero tiene su propio estacionamiento, barbacoa y línea de lavado al aire libre.
Hay una hoja de bienvenida e instrucciones para todos los aparatos cerca de usted. Vivimos en la casa de la granja, que se encuentra cerca, si tiene algún problema y donde recoge las llaves a su llegada.
Los invitados anteriores han ordenado y han entregado sus comestibles al granero, por lo que si tiene poco espacio en su vehículo, esto hace la vida más fácil. Si está buscando supermercados, tenemos un Lidl en Torrington junto con una amplia gama de tiendas en general, tiendas de regalos y Panier Market. If you are looking for a little haven of peace and tranquillity, look no further! A stunning location, reached by winding your way through woods and a tiny bridge across a brook. The barn is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished with everything you could want for a week or two of relaxation and the grounds of this stunning little farm are available to explore with the furry friends. Basic items in the cupboards including fresh milk in the fridge. Amanda and Dave couldn’t have been more helpful, whilst maintaining your privacy of this little bolthole in beautiful Devon. I cannot recommend highly enough.

A perfect location for a country retreat in N. Devon

It is a very beautiful, tranquil location full of late-August blooms and wildlife, including beautiful flowing streams of pure water and where not even the sound of any vehicle can be heard. The property is very clean, well-maintained and well-equipped internally for self-catering and with a wide-screen TV. The owners live next-door and are a very friendly, welcoming and helpful couple. Its an ideal place for a retreat from the stresses and pressures of everyday life and within easy reach by car of many N. Devon beauty spots. We highly recommend it and hope to return there from time to time for further breaks in our busy schedules

Lovely Stay

Had a great holiday at Hammas Farm. Amanda and David were very friendly and helpful hosts with nothing being too much trouble.The barn was cosy, spotless and well equipped and the gardens were beautiful.If you're looking for a nice, quiet relaxing holiday we would highly recommend it.Thanks very much and hopefully we will return. Relaxing long weekend

It was everything it advertised, set in a quite secluded spot but only a short drive from Bideford. It was a really lovely spot the hosts were very welcoming and friendly people. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic hosts, a wow garden and I have garden envy!

Beautiful little barn which was fully equipped. Comfortable and cosy set in stunning gardens. Loads of places to walk our two border collies and Amanda and David were so welcoming. Quiet and tranquil. Hope to visit again. Thank you!

Lovely place for a break…the dire weather spoilt our stay. Because of disability the stairs are not the easiest. However would recommend it thoroughly.

Hideaway

If you like something away from it all this is it. Quiet location quite isolated but only 20-30 mins drive to towns and coast. No mobile signal but Wi-Fi worked well. Very relaxing, plenty of room for the dog to run in fields, woods and streams.

Lovely, lovely peaceful property, run by welcoming owners Amanda & David. The comfy, warm barn is well maintained and equiped to a high standard. Hammas Barn is in easy reach of attractions in this part of North Devon with some fantastic costal walks. We will definitely recommended this poperty.

Wouldn't bother

The property advertises good for walks. There is a short walk on the land but other than that nowhere to go as all roads are single track and dangerous. It also advertisers that you can take your dog. Which is true. But what we found out when we got there our dog wasnt aloud upstairs. We couldn't leave him downstairs at night because he would bark. The property was old and badly refurbished and not cleaned to a standard I would expect for the price we paid. You couldn't go out at all at night as the only light was on property door. Amanda and David were polite and left us to our own devices and did offer help if we needed.

,,Hello, just a small introduction, we are David and Amanda and we were married in 2008, we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren between us. When the last of them left home (in Hertfordshire) we decided to move to North Devon and start a new life, this is where we found our dream home: We did escape to the countryside! We live in the main house so we are nearby if you need anything (but out of the way if you don't :-)

Hammas Farm is set in 10 acres of beautiful countryside. The main house was built around the 18th century although called a farm there are no animals at present (only 3 young cats). Hammas Farm and Barn are tucked away down a tree-lined winding tarmac drive, this is the ideal relaxing place you want to be. Your secluded get away is right here. Surrounded by nature, peace and quiet whether you are a dog walker, hiker, a sightseer or just want some tranquillity.
Hammas Barn is a detached 1 bedroom self contained dwelling with a little stream running close by, your patio and garden area are next to it. Set in a very quiet rural setting (no near neighbours.) Although situated in the depths of the countryside we have easy access to local towns, facilities and the beautiful coast.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Barn is an amazing place to be (with only one holiday-let, there are no other holiday makers, or complex etc here) with wildlife very close, deer, birds and bats, no noise, air or light pollution, to be able to gaze up at a black sky with millions of stars or see a deer sunning itself in the afternoon sun is quite special. Although tucked away in the countryside we have our local pub just a mile away. Great Torrington is only 3 miles away, an old market town with shops, takeaways, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Plough Art Centre with Theatre, Cinema, Music, Exhibitions, Café and Bar. A Museum. Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor and much more. The Tarka Trail for walks or cycling is just under a mile away. Easy access to Dartmoor, Exmoor, and the North Devon coastline, Westward Ho, Clovelly and Bude to name just a few. Plenty of local history and walks.
