Great Lilly Cottage es una histórica conversión de granero de 2 dormitorios con capacidad para 4, recientemente renovada a un alto nivel y ubicada en un rincón tranquilo y pintoresco del norte de Devon. Ubicada en las afueras del pueblo de Goodleigh, esta propiedad es un refugio rural perfecto; A solo 15 minutos en coche de las playas de arena blanca de Saunton Sands, Woolacombe y Croyde, pero al borde del Parque Nacional de Exmoor. Absolut einmaliges Cottage mit mega Flair. Mit lauter Ecken zum Zurückziehen von der Hängematte über Aussitz, Balkon, Sofa und diverse Sessel. Küche fantastisch: Highlight: Toaster, Espressomaschine und Mahlwerk. Kaffeebohnen, Tee, tolle Duschgels, super Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren vorhanden Betten sehr bequem - auch die Kinderbetten! Sehr zu empfehlen!!!WLAN Router muss man leider dauernd neu starten, aber mobil steht das Haus in keinem Funkloch.Croyde, Woolacombe u.a. sind gut zu erreichen.

Such a Beautiful, modern & quirky cottage.Fantastic location for exploring Devon & Cornwall. Everything possibly needed was provided within the cottage. Our family loved every moment staying here and the kids loved collecting eggs from the chickens. We would Definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Perfect

A beautiful little cottage. Very well equipped and really lively outdoor areas. Lying in the hammock in the shade of a huge tree in the large garden area was so relaxing and ideal for a very hot day. Close to the wonderful north Devon beaches and Exmoor it’s ideally located for all types of activity. So lovely to be on a farm with chickens giving fresh eggs. Sheep and alpaca in the field. Idyllic

Great countryside stay

Comfortable and cosy cottage to stay for a long weekend. Communication with hosts was great on the lead up to the stay, location was perfect overlooking rolling fields whilst being close to the town and beaches. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed

Perfect 2 Week Stay

This cottage had everything we needed and was the prefect base to explore North Devon. Very peaceful location with the owner close by if we had any questions or problems. We had an amazing time and would return again in the future.

We had a great stay property was ideally located just outside Barnstaple with great views over the countryside property was immaculate and well stocked and lovely gifts of cider and fudge and even some sweets for Halloween we are already thinking of when we can go back

GREAT QUIRKY COTTAGE

Overall, a great property with lovely large private garden (shame grass had not been mowed). Fabulous toiletries, kitchen had everything you need and more, however kitchen tap leaked and the ensuite toilet tap was loose, pedal bin did not work. Excellent living area apart from rug which had seen better days. I have rated the property 4 star but if the little nagging points were addressed then we would have given it 5 star!

Fantastic Time, lovely Property

Great accommodation. Suited a family of 4 very well. Although there was a heatwave at the time it was cool and we were able to get some respite from the heat. Nice choice of outside areas either in the sun or out of it. Hosts were great. Nice Cider, fudge etc on arrival and we had a hello on arrival. Any questions were answered and nice to have them close, but not that you would notice. The location is fantastic and close to everything you want eg beaches, walks, supermarkets etc. Would recommend to anyone as would suit couples of any age or families.

Great Lilly cottage

Very nice and everything you need. Comfortable beds. Downstairs bedroom rather cold and couldn't work the c/heating. Cottage is for four, but only three seats in the living room. Kindling needed for log fire, which was lovely in the chilly evenings. Yes, it was June!

Great relaxing stay.

Had a great relaxing time at the cottage.Has everything you need and was very comfortable.Our small dog had plenty of space to run around outside in the enclosed garden.Kate and ally were on hand with any quires we had.had a fantastic time visiting all the different places around the area.would recommend this cottage as it was very peaceful with lovely views of the countryside.

Lovely cottage in an excellent location

We had such a lovely stay. Ali and Kate were so helpful and there whenever you needed them. So well equipped and so clean. Lovely log burner and outside area where we enjoy many bbqs overlooking the rolling countryside. Highly recommend this beautiful property in a beautiful location. Can’t wait to stay again.

Loved it!

We had such a wonderful few days here that we didn't want to leave. The house is lovely, really nicely decorated and I loved all the eco products that the owners have used. Our dog Phoebe had ample space to run around in the garden and it seemed very secure. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Can't fault it, can't wait to come back!!

Lovely fully equipped cottage as good as it looks in the photos. We had a lovely time. It was our second stay and would definitely come again. Very nice hosts and great communication. Another highlight was the two cats Spiderman and Maca Paca. My two girls loved both and had a great time with them. Thank you Kate and Ali

A lovely break

We gave two goods rather than excellents. Their could have been a clean sweep but the Wi-Fi was unsecured and didn't always work (not that it was a bother to my wife or I) but one of our daughters had come down and had to return the next day as she conducts her own business via the net and her laptop simply wouldn't log on. But for us and our dog it was marvellous. Extremely quiet and peaceful yet actually close to a good road down to Barnstable. From the traffic lights the whole of Devon was signposted and as far as our dog was concerned, the massive beach at Saunton Sands was just 15 minutes away! The hammock in the back garden is also exquisitely comfortable! We had a very relaxing stay.

Quirky little number

Lovely and quiet, very well equipped with a great big shower. All we needed was there. Scones and jam were extra special 😁

Hello, we are Kate & Ali. We live with our 2 children and growing menagerie of animals at Great Lilly Farm, adjacent to our newly renovated holiday barn - Great Lilly Cottage.

We've always loved this part of the country and moved down from Scotland a while back to find a more outdoor way of life. We have chickens, pygmy goats, pigs, dogs & cats and we're hoping to make our own honey this summer.

We love living here - where else would you find foxes, badgers and Buzzards all making their homes in your garden?!

If you love the countryside, long walks, beautiful sandy beaches and cosy country pubs - this is the place for your next holiday.

There are many 'great' things about Great Lilly Cottage but our location in the heart of North Devon gives you the opportunity to have a really varied and flexible holiday.

If you love the sea and beach-style holidays, you have award-winning beaches including Woolacombe and Croyde only 20 minutes drive away. Hire surf or paddle boards, learn to kite surf or just enjoy the sunshine.

For young families, we have many tourist attractions on our doorstep including Exmoor Zoo, The Big Sheep and Combe Martin Dinosaur Park.

We are also only a short drive from Exmoor National Park offering you spectacular walks, horse rides or safe cycling.
