Lovely and peaceful
Stone Barn is in a wonderful setting, lovely and peaceful. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thankyou.
Thank you for sending such a lovely review and I hope your stay was restorative ! Come and see us again. It was a pleasure meeting you.
Wonderful property in a perfect location with magnificent views.
High quality accommodation with great attention to detail. Fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The grounds are a real bonus and walking direct from the house is a great pleasure.
Best we have stayed in, and we have had a great number of UK holidays.
I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for your kind comments. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to welcome people for return visits as that way we know we have got it right ! Do come back again. Next year we are going to try and get the wild flower meadow going so even more colour next year. jxx
Amazing house, amazing location, wonderful stay!
This house and farm are simply charming. Don’t be fooled by its high ceilings and open plan - it’s super cosy with under-floor heating, lovely bedding and wood-burning stove. The views from all the bedrooms are stunning and some lovely walks around the farm as well as on the Moor. And it has one of the best showers in all of Britain! We loved our stay. Thank you so much, Jane!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so glad that the combination of wood burning stove and underfloor heating did the trick given the amount of snow ! Do hope to see you again soon. Jane
A beautiful haven in total peace and tranquility in magnificent surroundings with fabulous views.
The barn is fantastic; large, spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The bed linen is delightful, the bedroom curtains are beautiful and the beds are very comfy. There is plenty of hot water, and the barn is very warm. The views are stunning, plenty of sightings of the buzzards which are sometimes very close. The games room with table tennis and darts was great fun! The barn has everything to make your holiday a most relaxing and memorable time. The area is wonderful, with delightful drives and walks on Dartmoor. A total joy.
Highly recommend this property.
Lovely house in beautiful countryside.
Thank you ! Do please come and see us again. You do not need to attend graduations this time ! Xx
Another Wonderful Week in an Amazing Barn
This was our second visit and once again we had a wonderful week, regardless of the weather.
The barn is perfectly styled, extremely comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break.
The views from all aspects of the barn are breathtaking, the stream at the bottom of the field is a real treat. The games barn is great and made a perfect race track for our 3 year old, finally not forgetting the tree house and trampoline which is an added extra for everyone to enjoy.
Goes without saying, we will be back!
