About Anita Paoli
My husband and I love Park Hill. We love sharing our charming bungalow. Our home is now available for short term rentals. We like to travel, and intend to spend our retirement doing so. While we are away, we've decided to share our home with some lucky people who find our site, stay at our home and enjoy all it has to offer!
Anita Paoli purchased this House in 2007

Our family, including grandparents and very young kids, stayed at the Holly House for a week and were incredibly happy with our experience. The bathrooms and bedrooms were stocked with everything we needed to be totally comfortable and feel at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook/bbq meals, and there were plenty of great restaurants within a walk or short drive. The best part was the beautiful back porch & yard -- perfect for relaxing and playing in the mornings and evenings. The fans and windows provided plenty of ventilation, so we didn't miss the AC. The owners provided a lot of useful information about the property and neighborhood in the house and responded quickly to questions during our stay. Many sights/parks/activities are within a 25-minute drive from this location. The property more than lived up to the description on the website. Thanks so much, Anita!
Wonderful time South Park Hill
We had a great week at South Park Hill. The house is super cute with plenty of space and the covered back patio was perfect for the hot summer nights. We absolutely loved the neighborhood. We went for a walk every day and walked in a different direction. One day we walked to get pizza and wine, another day we walked to ice cream, and yet another day we walked to philly cheesesteak! The house was very comfortable and all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.
Quiet Yet Close to the Action
This is a nice VRBO rental. The house was clean and fairly well appointed. We really liked the area as it was a very quiet and clean neighborhood with lots of character and it was a short Uber ride to all Denver has to offer. There is no a/c in the house, but we found that to be OK at this time of year with good ventilation through very nice (I believe recently replaced) windows and fans throughout the house. Thank you Anita. We had a good time.
We are very happy we stayed here at your charming bungalow. It was just down the street from JWU and was the perfect set up for us on this Anniversary trip! Very well equipped and comfortable, perfect for us. Anita tried hard to accommodate our needs with the listed propane grill after a hard winter, we were appreciative of her efforts. Love this place and would surely stay again!!! Thank you for sharing your great home with us! It truly felt like away from Home)
Denver Park Hill Holly House
This was a very nice home!
We found the bed comfortable, and the kitchen stoked with all the dishes and kitchen equipment we needed.
We loved the windows and light in the dining room kitchen area.
This home is in a quiet neighborhood, close to but NOT in downtown Denver.
We are so pleased you enjoyed our home. We make every possible effort to make sure that our guests are comfortable.
I meant to block off the week you booked, it was an oversight on my part. We were very busy finishing up the new window installation. It took a little longer than anticipated. Instant booking did not allow communication so it was impossible to convey that we had not intended to book.
We apologize again that we did did not have the barbecue working, as you know there was a blizzard just before your arrival and snow on the ground when you checked in. In any case, we usually setup the outdoor area in May. We also thought it unlikely that anyone would be entertaining in the back yard during this time. We were happy that you found it easy to move things inside.
I did not know your preference was a downtown location. Our property description states, near downtown and 3.7 miles from city center. Although we are in the Denver City limits, we are not downtown. Instant Booking makes it difficult to clear up any misunderstandings before booking. And, as you know, it also prevents modifying or correcting errors in the booking process.
I am also a little bit confused. as in your correspondence it was important for you to be near your children who just moved to the Park Hill area. Mr. McQueen stated how delighted he was to be within walking distance to the grandchildren. So I’m not sure if you wanted to be downtown or thought your children had moved closer to down.
We could tell that your grandchildren enjoyed our home too. We are happy that you felt so comfortable in your stay. Although it takes our staff a bit longer to return things to where they belong, we have things out so they can be enjoyed and we appreciate when guests take care of the things in our home. Sometimes with children and pets it takes a while to remove stains from the furniture. But in the end it’s mostly managed.
I’m sorry that our description regarding downtown wasn’t more clear. And regrettably we didn’t live up to your expectations. Hopefully next time you will find something more suitable to your expectations.
Best of luck and warm regards,
Park Hill Holly House
Home sweet home
We stayed here twice now and both times it was great! Easy comfortable, well equipped. Great neighborhood. You can walk to a place for breakfast or pastry, Pizza, and a wine bar, and it is all in a quiet neighborhood.
Curves at the Stapleton Shopping Center 2 miles, Yoga on Kearney Street 5 blocks, and Pilates on Krameria Street accross from Walgreens in the small strip mall. Everything is close and nearby. Interesting and eclectic shopping on Kearny Street, Stapleton Village is 2 miles away on Quebec and 29th and hosts resaurants like Casey Irish Pub, The Berkshires, Udi's and the Blue Fin Sushi. There are also chains like Noodles and Chipoltle, etc. The area has so much to offer!
