Myself, my 2 adult sons and daughter in law stayed 4 nights here. The house has recently been remodeled and updated. It’s spacious and clean. However, the VRBO listing states there is a hot tub and a fireplace. We never found the hot tub and we couldn’t figure out how to get the gas fireplace to light. I asked the owner how to start the fire place and where the hot tub was. I was told that they could not answer those questions at this time! A group of 8 are allowed at this house. And, you can have parties for up to 20 people. There is plenty of couch seating. However, there are no side tables or coffee tables, nowhere to put a plate or drink. There is no place to put a wet towel other than hanging it over a shower rod. Our party was small so it wasn’t a huge issue, but a larger party would have a bunch of wet bath towels, and no place to put them. There are no hooks on the doors in the bedrooms or in the bathroom. There was only one hand towel for the kitchen. We were there for Thanksgiving week, and we were expecting to do quite a bit of cooking. There were no hot pads provided for taking hot things out of the oven. There weren’t any napkins or paper towels. The first night we ate our meal using toilet paper as our napkins. I’ve never stayed at a VRBO that did not provide a coffee pot, but this one doesn’t. Kitchen utensils are sparse, only salt and pepper is provided. The can opener is cheap, doesn’t work well and you get cut trying to use it! Bring your own everything!
