Sunnyside Chalet has everything you need to relax. We have wireless internet. All Linens are provided, the bedspread is washed between each visit. Sleeps 4 comfortably with a king bed in the Master Bedroom and bunk beds set up in the bunk house. Kids love sleeping in the bunk house! We have smart TVs, with YouTube and many other free Internet services. A fully functional kitchen is provided with everything you need. Great back porch to watch the kids, birds, and other activities on the lake. You will spend hours relaxing on the porch with the swing and glider. We have games and books to help entertain your family on those rainy days.
SunnySide Chalet is lakefront on Lake Chatuge. The front lawn is pretty level for a game of volley ball or throwing a football. Lake Chatuge is approximately 7,200 acres of lake and 133 miles of shoreline. SunnySide Chalet is a nice place to relax, watch birds, fish, and play in the lake.

Please Note: Lake Chatuge is lowered in the winter to control flooding. Water in the cove can not be guaranteed.

Another great stay.

The property is just as pictured. We love the view of the lake, and the sounds of birds. The weather was perfect so different than the heat and humidity we left in florida. We cant wait for our next visit. This was our 3rd stay, so its like returning home.

Rest and Relaxation

This was our 2nd stay and we will be back again! We brought our boat and it is so nice to walk to the dock and jump in our boat and enjoy the lake! We sat on the porch most of our time enjoying the view! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves the lake, mountains and peace!Thank you!Patrick and Janet

Wonderful little cottage! We enjoyed having the dock and lake access just steps away! Very clean and cheerfully decorated! Excellent place to spend some time on the water!

Great stay

This was a great place to stay!! The owners where very quick to respond to any needs we had. The house was clean and well stocked. They clearly put a lot of love in this place. Great view and location!

About the host

We live in Dahlonega, GA only one hour away. SunnySide Chalet is our home away from home. We come here when we want to relax and not think about the everyday parts of life. We have two daughters who love to come to the chalet and kayak, paddle board, and go tubing. I am a teacher at Lumpkin High School, and Jamie is a program analysis with Equifax.
We love to walk around to all the shops and try out new restaurants, but most of the time we are quite content sitting on the porch, decks, or boat and being outside. We love our neighbors at the chalet and enjoy talking to the renters of the other chalets.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because the town is quaint and calm. The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds seem to always have something going on. We live closer to Lake Lanier, but Lanier seems really crowded and at times unsafe. Lake Chatuge is always calm, even on the forth of July! I am comfortable with the kids playing in the cove and am not worried about boats going fast in our cove. There are many places to go and site see, a little bit for everyone in the family. It is also nice to be at the chalet alone with just my husband and I.

What makes this property unique

You will fall in love with the porch over looking the lake and mountain views. This is truly the best of both worlds. Calm and away from the town, but close to everything you need.
