Lake of the Ozarks Getaway - At Captain Ron's #16A

Master bedroom has a queen bed with TV. Second bedroom has a queen bed. Third bedroom has a full size bed. Fully equipped kitchen with Refrigerator, Stove, and Microwave. The Living room overlooks the beautiful lake with Cable TV and sofa sleeper. We also offer Free Wi-fi at Captain Ron's, but none is available in the unit. All you need to bring is food, beverages, beach towels, and energy for fun. Each rental house and Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill is part of Buccaneer Bay ,located on the quiet side of The Lake of the Ozarks in Sunrise Beach, Hurricane Deck Area on the 34 ½ mile marker. Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill is within walking distance if you would like to enjoy the sandy beach, volleyball, great food and live music to dance the night away.

Good Location nice atmosphere, bad matresses

Older Lake Cabin. Bad mattresses very uncomfortable, Kitchen had no light bulbs in the fixtures, but was clean. Bathroom was clean. Loved the location which was close to a reunion taking place, and was right on the water and close to restaurant and bar.

Property needs

TV remote did not have any batteries. Patio area needed cleaning. Trash was in a cooler on patio. Weeds needed to be cut down. Found dirty needle cap under patio table. Inside house was clean thankfully. Shower in bathroom was probably the nicest thing about this place.

Great place to stay

Enjoyed the cabin, on issues were a few of the kitchen chairs were broken and the bathroom door did not shut all the way. I had a few tools with me so i went ahead and fixed the door so that it shut all the way. Would rent again

Mens golf weekend

Property is nice. Could use some updating. We were there mostly to sleep as we had other friends with homes in the area. Beds need updating as well as furniture. Overall i would stay again. But not what I expected for the Ozarks.

Bachelor Party

This was a great place for a bachelor party. Located 50 feet from the bar/restaurant. Locally close to a few big party spots that are within Uber/taxi range. House was clean and sleeps at least 4 individuals/4couples. House was more up to date than pictures.

Great for a low-key Bachelorette

Hosted a friend's Bachelorette party here and had a great time! The property is a little bit older, but the living room looks recently remodeled. Beware, there is only one small bathroom and there's not much counter space. Great selling point: it is right next to Captain Ron's (literally next door), so you can just walk over to dinner and the food there is great!

Location is nice but if you’re looking for privacy or quite time this isn’t the location. Lots of people moving thru area, neighboring fireworks until midnight nightly, band & DJ until 12-1:00. Suggest better window blinds to close off night lights Enjoyed beach & dock access! Close proximity to boat/wave runner rental was convenient.

Great location

We had a great experience. We rented this house along with the 1 bedroom downstairs that is ADA for my son . Beautiful view , fully equipped kitchen. Boat slips , walking distance to bar and grill . We will definitely be back

The mattress/box springs--whatever they were--squeaked so loudly and so much, I just had to burst out laughing! Could really use an upgrade on that! Otherwise--clean and fine for a lake location.

good weekend getaway

Overall a good place to stay but a bit spendy for what it is when all the service, cleaning and insurance charges are added. But is very handy location when you want to spend your time on the lake and not have to drive anywhere!

Cute place to stay

We stayed with a group of friends for the Short Bus Shuffle on St Patty’s Day. Perfect location for going to captain Ron’s and boarding a bus. An easy walk back home at the end of the night.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean and easily accessible. I liked the door code lock instead of having to keep track of a key. It was right next door to Captain's Rons. We had a covered boat dock close to the house. The house is a duplex. We stayed on the upper level and had plenty of room. Kitchen counter space is extremely limited which made it a bit difficult to prep and cook. The door shelf space in the fridge is not usable either. Overall, we enjoyed the space. We have been staying at Buccaneer Bay for years, our first stay in this house.

Great location, But........

Great location Great access to a dock that will fit my boat. Great access to all that Captain Rons offers ( the band sat night was unbelievable, you should book them every chance you get) BUT>>>>> When I rent a house< I want the house, not just a floor of the house. I also would have liked to have know that there was only one bathroom. Air conditioning needs to be upgraded. very cool weekend and the place was warm inside.

Wonderful weekend getaway.

Very convenient place to stay for the weekend. You have all three meals available next door and a wonderful beach to hang out on and docks to fish from. You're also close to Woods Grocery store if you want to "cook at home". The place is clean as well.
