Too see the review search "Captain Nemo's Landing" from Trip Advisor. This is an adventure not a cheap hotel. We are close to the main kiteboarding beach in a gated safer area 100 meters from the water. The casitas are single rooms with three to four beds and the tipi's have tow to three beds We have a central bath area with toilets, hot showers, and a central kitchen with two stove tops, fridge and all the items you will ever need to cook and eat. Of course we have wifi, rent mtn bikes, discounts of kiteboarding lessons, and ATV rentals. It is common for the guests to have a bonfire to share the days adventures after a combined dinner effort. There is never a dull moment as you are close to town and the main kiting beach. Very safe as the police station is at the entrance to CNL.

I've hung my sombrero in Los Barriles for the last 16 years. Back then there were only four of us that Kite Boarded, not the beach has hundreds everyday enjoying the sport
Why Jeff chose Los Barriles
So cool to share your adventure stories with the rest of crew when at the end of the day over a bonfire and probably a dinner you all rustled up in the kitchen
What makes this Bungalow unique
Close to the kite schools and very quiet a tranquil. The safest place in Baja as the police station is at the entrance to CNL

Quiet, clean, beautiful. Absolutely awesome!
Access to the water and the pickle ball courts are nearby, and its an easy walk to town with cultural things to see either on the beach or on the road, all the way to town. It is lovely, serene and the nicest thing is that is far enough out of town that you can see every star at night and you feel like you are in an oasis. I can see flying fish, manta rays, from my room balcony. Jeff has been very accommodating to my special medical needs and he is a great communicator. He made sure I was taken care of and that someone was there if I needed help. Everyone has been wonderful. there are so many good things to say I get muddled and can't get the compliments out enough. I am hooked up with Dante's kiteboarding classes and felt catered to. I feel like they have all been a blessing. Its outside of the tourist activity so you feel like you can relax.
Stayed in late Dec 2017
Off-the-beaten-path location with three types of accommodations: teepees, rooms, and a motor home. Large and well stocked communal kitchen; shared shower/restroom area. Worked great for us, as we were out most of the days... Nice way to meet other travelers. Shout out to the GREAT hosting by Julie and Dave. We will be back.
This place is too cool. We had never stayed in a Tipi but now that's off our bucket list. Loved the compound as we were able to cook up some fabulous Mexican dinners in the huge kitchen area while sharing adventure stories over the bonfire with some guest from New Zealand. Really a relaxing and quiet place. The kiteboarding beach is only a five-minute walk away so we did catch some good wind. Will come back for sure.
