DERNIERE MINUTE JUIN !!! NOUVELLE PISCINE À USAGE EXCLUSIF à partir de mai 2019 !!! La villa, idéal pour un séjour de détente, est situé au milieu d'un parc verdoyant et planté d'arbres séculaires étendu de plus de 10 000 mètres carrés. Il est éloigné de la mer à moins de 1 km (petites plages de galets et rochers) ou des plages de Trapani Cornino ou 15 minutes en voiture, et San Vito Lo Capo, 25 minutes. La villa est climatisée, dispose d'un hall d'entrée, grande cuisine avec des meubles anciens d'exception, grande salle à manger pour 9 personnes, 2 grandes salles de séjour, une avec un belvédère véranda, 4 chambres avec lit double, 2 avec salle de bain privé et 2 avec salle de bains et une chambre avec un lit simple et salle de bains privative, ainsi que 2 salles de bains dans le salon.
Les immenses espaces extérieurs vous permettent de vivre l'été des vacances reposantes. Il est équipé d'une piscine (active du 1er mai au 31 octobre), d'un barbecue et d'un four à bois extérieur. La cuisine est entièrement meublée et équipée. La villa fait partie d'un complexe dans lequel se trouve une deuxième villa, totalement séparée et indépendante, avec laquelle l'utilisation du parc est partagée. Et « situé dans une zone stratégique pour un accès facile à la mer, les parcs naturels, comme le Zingaro, Egades et lieux de grand intérêt artistique et historique comme Segesta, Erice, Marsala, Sélinonte, Palerme, Monreale, Trapani, Mothia, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, Castellammare del Golfo ... et plus encore.

Sicilian Retreat

We had such a lovely time. The home was clean, beautiful and well maintained. The communication from Francesca was excellent. She always responded and incredibly quickly and was happy to help in any way she could. Check in and check out were seamless. The pool was very clean and private, with a great view. I highly recommend this beautiful villa for a getaway.

Spectacular and beautiful property

Amazing home on a spectacular property. Everything was clean, beautiful and as advertised. The property had a great swimming pool and balcony to watch the sunset. The rooms were all large and very clean with excellent AC during the summer months. Francesca was an amazing host who was always very quick to respond and was very helpful in answering our questions and providing reccomendations

Family trip to Sicily

This was a delightful place to stay. We were so happy that we selected this listing. Property manager could not have been better…she communicated punctually and clearly at every step…from pre-visit help with reservations as well as tour, beach and restaurant suggestions…and even after check out with finding my missing phone within 10 minutes of departure! The property is charming and very spacious. We had 2 couples, a nanny, another adult and a:20 month old and never felt cramped. The grounds are very private, picturesque and well tended. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well!

Our stay at Villa Fontana was superb in every way: Francesca welcomed us warmly and was extraordinarily responsive throughout our stay, whether to make recommendations or suggestions about the area (restaurants, activities, shopping), or to answer questions about the Villa. All of our interactions with her and staff were fantastic. We were so glad to find that they maintain a small "store" on the premises: wine, olive oil (their own), and other consumables were well-stocked and readily available. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals we prepared on the premises, and found multiple options for grocery shopping just minutes away. Beds were comfortable, and the environs were peaceful and quiet. The pool is lovely and very well maintained, as are the garden and grounds of the property, all of which are extraordinary, with olive trees as far as the eye can see along with extensive plantings and fruit trees – really special! We felt safe and secure in and around the villa throughout our stay. We're still talking among ourselves about our stay and how comfortable it was in every way – we hope we're able to come back with family and friends to this perfect base for exploring Western Sicily. A Wonderful Two Week Vacation

The property is exactly as stated in the description. The house is comfortable and we’ll equipped. It’s obvious that the owners have a great pride in the manor that’s been owned by their family for generations. The greatest asset of the rental are the two sisters who couldn’t have been more accommodating. Francesca is a wonderful hostess who responded quickly to our every inquiry, recommended places to destinations, restaurants, etc. Her sister Christina was also very helpful in making our holiday a success. Thank you ladies for all you did.

Nothing short of amazing

The castle was everything and more than described. The host was amazing in communication, even before the trip, asking if we had any questions or would like her to set up some tours. We set up a personal chef to come cook and teach us how to make pasta one night, it was amazing! They have a room with conveniences to purchase if you forgot something, at very reasonable prices as well as drinks and food. The garden was so large and amazing to walk thru, you can tell the care they take to maintain the property. They will tell you the history of the home, gardens if asked. They had no one after us so they offered to let us check out late if we wanted, we would have but we had an early flight :( The town Valderice, had great bakeries, restaurants as well. I can not say enough, except we will be back!

Short Break with Friends

We just had an amazing 5 days at Villa Fontana. The history of the property is one of the things that make it so special. Your mind wanders to the time when it was the the only structure on the hillside. The location is great for exploring the region. Short trips to Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Egadi Islands and Trapani. Cristina and Francesca our hostesses, whose family have owned the villa for generations, were attentive and available. At our request. they arranged a cooking class and a boat trip around the Egadi Islands. And even brought over a bag of ice after we missed the stores. The Villa comes equipped with a storage facility in the basement with a gorgeous selection of wines, beers, and other staples, olive oil etc. You can buy as you wish. That was a real bonus, as there was one less shopping trip to make. The villa was spacious and old kitchen fully equipped for cooking. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Great stay

As a family of 6 people, we spent 4 nights in the house. It was a great experience! The place is very unique, the view is beautiful, the location is easy easy to access thanks to the highway, great to visit Erice, San Vito lo Capo or Zingaro and the hosts were very nice.

Beautiful house with views

A very enjoyable old but renovated house in West Sicily. The views are magnificient although this may not be the best part of Sicily for beaches. The village is not particularly charming but the landscapes are marvelous. On the other hand it’s within reasonable distance to must-see places like Palermo, Monreale, Selinunte or Segesta. The hosts are very helpful for any practical questions about the area and quick to respond for any request. The house and garden are very nice amd well maintained as seen in the pictures. The house would benefit from some extras for parties of 8 or more such as a second fridge or a larger table and an awning at the terrace. Nice BBQ area (maybe a larger table is need too). Highly recommendable in any case.

Es ist wirklich ein Erlebnis. Da Haus ist sehr großzügig und es hat großen historischen Charme. Die Unterkunft ist etwas besonderes. Die Terrasse hat einen wundervollen Ausblick. Dort zu sitzen und gemeinsam zu essen ist ein Genuss. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, um einen tollen Aufenthalt mit Familie zu genießen. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Es ist auch schön, den großzügigen Garten zu entdecken, mit seinen Olivenbäumen und vor allem mit den vielen duftenden Zitrusbäumen. Die Umgebung ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm und hat viel Ausstrahlung und bietet Erholungswert.

Gorgeous holiday in the Sicilian Sun

Our host Francesca has been incredible, nothing was too much for her and I cannot recommend her and her beautiful property enough! Francesca worked really hard to make sure we had a fantastic week, organising our trips and restaurants, she was amazing. The house is beautiful, really spacious with many varied inside and outside areas. It is truly a grand old house, steeped in history. The pool area was fantastic and we also loved the outside terraces and barbecue area.I cannot fault it at all and am delighted to give this review to encourage other people to book this amazing villa. Thank you Francesca.

Charming Villa - ideal for friends and family holidays

We all loved staying at the Dimora Storica — the villa is incredibly charming and is very comfortable for large-ish groups of family and friends that still may like some privacy. The hosts, Francesca and Cristina, were kind and very flexible and understanding regarding checking in and out and they also provided some really helpful tips along the way.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a gorgeous property, and very spacious for our group of 4 couples. The grounds are like something out of a movie! Francesca, the owner, was extremely responsive to any questions before the trip and always available via text while we were there, but never intrusive. She even dropped off some delicious gelato treats while we were there, and has wine available to purchase, which was a bonus for us the night we arrived! You need a car at this location to visit the many nearby towns. We day-tripped to Marsala, Trapani, Palermo, Monreale, San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, and Segesta. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa for a great visit to Sicily!

Accoglienza perfetta!

Antica ed affascinante dimora siciliana, con inclusi elementi di fascino unico (parte di una antica torre di avvistamento), ampi spazi con arredamento d’epoca. Giardino -meglio dire parco- curatissimo e pulito. Piscina con vista mozzafiato. Se ciò non fosse sufficiente, a tutto questo incanto, si aggiunge una accoglienza e disponibilità delle proprietarie che va ben oltre la “cortesia e solerzia”. Sempre discrete ma disponibili anche per le più piccole cose, accolgono gli ospiti nella loro splendida villa come perfette padrone di casa, facendoci sentire benvenuti, desiderati e benvoluti. La “coccola” finale dell’omaggio dell’olio di produzione propria è stata graditissima. Semplicemente perfette! Grazie di cuore, augurandomi di incontrarvi presto!

A beautiful little castle

Our stay with extended family was excellent. Four very nice bedrooms ( we didn’t use the 5th one) a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a terrace with a view makes it a very spacious house. The garden including the swimming pool was very nice as well. A small drive to the beach or other nearby sites. In short a very very good holiday destination.
