From the very beginning you feel warmly welcomed! A delicious basket of treats awaited us in the kitchen! The entire house was spotless, sunny and very cozy! Everything you need for a longer stay was there! It was the perfect starting point for our daily excursions and hikes.We can only warmly recommend the hosts and the house and would book again ourselves!

Outstanding property for a fantastic stay

One of the best self-catering properties that we have ever stayed in! Immaculately clean, fully equipped but no clutter. Very well and tastefully furnished made for an exceptionally comfortable stay. Thank you! Location also was great with many very worthwhile places to visit just a short drive away.

Fantastic find

Absolutely loved Cedar Cottage. A home from home with everything you need. The log fire was so cosy. It is immaculate, perfect for our valentines break. We will definitely be back. Laurencekirk is a lovely place, with lots of great walks.

Perfect base for a visit home

This property is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. It literally looked like I was the first person ever to stay there. The house is far larger than it appears online. Everything you can imagine is provided. Even a pint of milk to make tea and coffee. I will absolutely stay here again when visiting family and friends in the future.

Brilliant Cottage in Laurencekirk

Very large and pretty apartment with everything you need. It's next to the park and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We loved the nature in the area as well, for example the beautiful St. Cyrus beach and Dunnottar Castle. We definitely recommend this lovely cottage. As a family it was perfect for us with a lot of space for everyone!

Ein Cottage zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben und im Cedar Holiday Cottage in Laurencekirk sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, sehr sauberes Ferienhaus (inkl. einem Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und elektr. Trockner). Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und in einer schönen Landschaft. Die Vermieter Alison und Neil sind sehr hilfsbereit und über einen schönen Willkommenskorb haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Vielen Dank - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Short break

The House was exactly as described and absolutely spotless. Everything you could want or need for a stay here was provided including wood for the log burner. The owners have gone out of their way to make guests feel very welcome with both communications and a wonderful welcome basket of goodies on arrival even taking the time to attend at the house to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and providing us with a late checkout on departure day. The property is furnished to an extremely high standard throughout. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a high end yet reasonably priced place to stay whilst exploring this area.

Very Happy

The home is beautiful, very clean, bright and comfortable. The decor and furniture are tasteful. The kitchen is well equipped with most of the necessary items for self catering being provided. We visited Banchory, Montrose, Edzell, Stonehaven, Fettercairn - all a short distance away. I would certainly have no hesitation recommending this property and hope to return sometime. The home is situated on a very quiet street and private parking is avialable.

You open the door and immediatly you fall in love with this cottage. Not Engilsch old fasioned, but brand new modern fresh proparty. Nice welcome gift and all you need is there. We enjoyed our stay up there!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spotless and all the facilities were of a high quality and standard. Lots of thoughtful details including a lovely welcome basket. A great base for exploring walks, beaches and cycle trails. We would definitely stay again.

A perfect escape

Wonderfully clean, fragrant and warm. Thoughtful touches throughout from a couple who know what holiday makers need. This couldn’t be faulted. Don’t be put off by the frontage. It opens out into a modern, light and spacious property that makes the perfect base for exploring a beautiful region.

À home away from home

Very pleasant for the three of us! Laurencekirk has familial ties and it was great fun to drive around the locale as well as walk from grocery stores to tavern to train station etc. Our hosts were responsive and amiable. I wish we’d met!
