We are Neil and Alison Ingram and live in Laurencekirk, and we wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We live close to the holiday cottage, so are on hand if you require any help or just some advice about the local area.

Wonderful new spacious and well appointed holiday home
The house is set back from the road with ample parking for two cars, and what is stunning is that it is a new build with space and warmth. Everything you might expect in a hotel room is provided... towelling, soap and shampoo (a lot of cottages omit soap and shower gel!), extra blankets, hair dryer, bedside radio and plenty of hangers in the wardrobes. The kitchen has all you need, plus some essentials (condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar). Welcome pack of bread, milk, sachets of hot chocolate, crisps, teacakes was thoughtfully provided. Flowers in the very large living room/kitchen made us feel welcome, as did the owner making sure all was well when we arrived. The house was spotless.
It is one of the loveliest holiday homes we have visited (we've visited dozens over the years), and Laurencekirk is handy for Aberdeen, Dundee and places in between.... either seaside (St Cyrus) or the Angus glens and Deeside.
Thank you for such a glowing review. It makes all the hard work worthwhile, when our guests enjoy their stay. We've tried to include items we like or find helpful when we are staying away from home.
We're lucky to live in such a lovely area, surrounded by beautiful countryside, the Cairn O' Mount is looking quite spectacular just now with all the heather looking so gorgeous.
It was really nice to meet both of you.
Everything was just perfect. Beautiful cottage and immaculate. Happy to recommend and definitely would stay again.
Thank you for such a great review, was lovely to meet you.
We were attending a wedding in the area and this cottage was a lovely relaxing place to come back to.
Thank you for a lovely review, we're really glad you enjoyed your stay.
This property is a great place to travel from. Fife and Aberdeen are within an hour drive. The house is gorgeous. Only suggestion, bring eating utensils. If you plan to eat meals there (my husband loves to cook breakfast), some cooking utensils are provided, but no spoons, knives or forks to eat with; bottle-opener either. The non-stick pan needs to be replaced. Note: There are very firm mattresses. The owners could add a topper or two to make it a little better for side sleepers. Overall, it is a nice place to stay if you are properly prepared.
Thank you for your review and we are glad you liked our cottage.
We are really sorry you didn't manage to find the cutlery drawer, it is directly under the hob. When you pull out the large drawer underneath, there is a smaller drawer at the top which has a label on it saying that,it is the cutlery drawer and just to pull the plastic tab. All the cutlery, bottle opener etc is there. Have added details regarding the cutlery drawer to the manual as we hate to think of anyone trying to manage without cutlery. We hope it didn't spoil your stay too much and you enjoyed your holiday in Scotland.
Everything was perfect for our holiday - just a pity that we couldn’t have stayed longer
Glad that you had a lovely stay and enjoyed your holiday.
Fantastic accommodation, spotlessly clean and modern, great location
Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and granddaughter. Lovely little welcome basket with some goodies and fresh flowers was a lovely touch. Very spacious, accommodation done to a high spec. My only tiny gripe is that I would have preferred a king size bed to the double bed. The owners seem to have thought of everything you might need for your stay. Will definitely try to book here again when visiting the area again
