En la planta baja (55m²) de cada villa tendrá una cocina de lujo totalmente equipada con nevera, horno eléctrico y meseta de cerámica, horno microondas, cafetera multi, tostadora, exprimidor, lavavajillas, aire acondicionado y sistema de calefacción independiente para el invierno. En la sala de estar se puede disfrutar viendo la televisión LCD vía satélite. DVD, sistema de audio estéreo, así como la chimenea durante los fríos días de invierno. Usted tendrá momentos especiales de relajación en el dormitorio con su cama king size, los románticos paños de cama y la vela sensual iluminación que refleja en las paredes de piedra. También en el dormitorio hay un televisor y un sistema estéreo. En el baño de sol brillante se puede relajar en la bañera de hidromasaje y teniendo en cuenta sus necesidades personales tenemos a su disposición secador de pelo, un kit de tratamiento personal, toallas, albornoces y zapatillas. Al subir las escaleras de la sala de estar, se llega al ático (13 m²) de la casa con su dormitorio, tenemos dos camas individuales

Lovely villa, perfect location

The villa was well equipped to a high standard. Private and peaceful with lovely pool. So near to the beach, restaurants and bars. The owners warmly welcomed our party of 4. We were given guidance on places to visit and good recommendations for restaurants. We were treated as friends and left as friends.

Old world luxury in Crete

Can't say enough about this accomodation and the wonderfully warm people who put their hearts into making a wonderful holiday for their guests. Special touches like the home baking, wine, fruit and good strong coffee are just part of the charm. The villa is first class in every way. We had a rental car and enjoyed exploring the wonderful beaches and villages along the way. Hiking the Samaria Gorge was a highlight and of course our night with Aegis in the Rock House Bar was something we won't forget! You would be missing out if you didn't stay in this special place. The Seaside area of Platanias is quite vibrant with shops and restaurants all around. It was an incredible start to our dream 20th anniversary holiday!

Rhapsody in Crete!

If you are looking for a beautiful, convenient, fully equipped vacation home for up to 5 people, decorated in an incredibly tasteful way, I strongly recommend the Rock House Rhapsody (or Melody). Located in the heart of Platanias, it is a quiet, serene hiding place with a charming garden and pool only steps away from the nightlife of the town and a pleasant 3 minute stroll to the beach. The owners also own and operate the friendliest bar in town, the Rock House, which plays classic rock music in a cozy atmosphere where patrons relax and sing along to the music. None of the noise from the bar ever reaches the rental homes. Rhapsody was spotless and welcoming when we arrived with a bottle of local wine, homemade cake and some spinach pies as well as some raki. Yioula and her husband made every effort to accommodate our schedule and needs throughout our 10 day stay in July and August 2010. Sitting on the porch in the morning before going to the beach or taking a refreshing dip in our own private pool at day's end were wonderful parts of our daily routine. The showers and tub were clean and effective and the washer/dryer allowed us to pack light, a big plus. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a grill outside along with lounges and an outdoor shower. Yioula even gave us beach towels! My wife and I frequently commented on the inviting decor. The air conditioning system is quiet and effective. You only need a car if you plan to go on excursions far away as the buses and cabs are inexpensive and you can walk anywhere in town. Yioula gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We rode the luxurious coach buses used by the public transport to go to Chania in 20 minutes. My 2 teen kids said it was the best family vacation ever, in large part due to Rhapsody.I had good feeling about Rock House Rhapsody from my first contact with owner Yioula Dimitriadou. She was available by email or phone to answer all my questions about the rental and about the town and region and our potential travel plans. The booking was handled with utter professionalism; in fact, when our trip was ending and it came time to return our security deposit, Yioula returned it to our credit card as I asked since we were going directly back to the US and we could not use the 300 euros. She made a wonderful effort to figure it out with the bank. She is a graceful and intelligent host and manager. We miss our Cretan home away from home!

Dear Yioula, Agis and Aris, Excellent all round! We had a fabulous stay with you in Villa Rhapsody, The villa is stunning, and has been cleverley designed and lovingly furnished, nothing has been left out. We were amazed from our arrival, and it proved the perfect place for our wedding day - the first one I believe at your Villas on the 26.05.10. Its is perfectly situated for amenities to allow you to do as little or as much as you want, we were very lazy and spent a lot of time in the villa its self as everything we wanted for our holiday was right there. There is nothing to fault here, beautiful and well kept private gardens, beautiful villa with everything on hand. Yioula, you were fantastic and always on hand to give and help or advice. Brilliant a lovely family! I would not hesitate to recommend these villas to families or couples alike and if or when we visit Platanias again we would not wish to stay anywhere but here. We did not want to leave and were very sad when our vacation here came to an end. What more can I say? Many words describe these villas, Stunningly beauiful & perfect, thank you for letting us stay in your fantastic villa! Most beautyful place in the heart of Platanias

We have spent 2 weeks in those wonderful Villas with our families (9 persons) and had a wedding there. The enviroment is luxury as well as those villas. There are everything you need and a little bit more. The owners Agis and Yioula are so warmhearted and friendly that the word can´t describe. We spent the wedding in the Garden and we were 50 people together. You are like hidden in paradise or in other hand in the middle of everything; shops, bars, taverns and beach are in few minutes away. Amazing! We will come back

Amazing villa! Better believe it!

A wonderful villa which is in a great position of the island. It compines relaxation, sun sea and fun. The owners have done a great job, they have thought of everything and this villa is the best we have ever been to. And we have been in many around the world as it is my business to travel. It is much better than in the pictures and you feel so welcome from the first minute you arrive. Booking the villa was very easy and Yioula is very helpfull and available. Also arriving to the villa from the airport is very easy and only 20 minutes by taxi. I must mention that the villa is in a green cool garden that is so quiet and tranquil makes you think that this must be a part of paradise. We will be back for sure and for three weeks next time!

A piece of paradise.

We went to villa Rhapsody with my family and it was really incredible. We stay there 18 days. The villa was clean and everything was well-maintained. The owner was really nice with us, always available, friendly with always little things for us or for the kids. In the basement, we had a lot of toys for our girls (3). Everything is close to the villa (beach, bakery, restaurants). If you want to travel around Crete it is a good point to start to go everywhere. Don't miss to go there....we dream to go there again...

Excellent vacation in Villa Rhapsody

We stayed two weeks in Rock Houses Villa Rhapsody in september 2009 (4 adults and a 1,5 year old child). It was EXCELLENT! New villa with all the things we could hope for: beautiful villa, nice kitchen, own pool, own yard, wonderful and helpful owners and ideal location of the villa! Thank you very much for making our vacation something we will remember for a long time! And we will definately recommend Rock Houses to anyone who is going Crete!

Dream holidays !

Villa Rhapsody - Crete

We are a family of four and we had a fantastic holiday in Villa Rhapsody. The villa lived up to the description, a high standard property with everything you need, from bathrobes to slippers! The owner and her family are lovely people they gave attention to detail when designing this Villa. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The villas was clean, bright and welcoming, which made our stay pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing, we only wished we had booked it for 2 weeks instead of one!

We had a excellent time in the villa. It was an oasis in Platanias. The villa was of very high quality, it was equipped with everything we needed.
