The living room with table, chairs, sofa, and smart TV; The Kitchen with microwave, and coffee machine; The double bedroom with a bathroom (tub), smart tv, and an exit to the veranda; The double bedroom with a window and smart tv; The bedroom with a French bed and a single bed and a window; A bathroom (shower); Washing machine zone.

Wonderful stay

We had a great week at this lovely villa. Maria was the most helpful and kind host ever. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was amazing and there were so many great areas within the grounds to relax. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely villa with a fantastic pool

Absolutely fantastic villa with large rooms and all the facilities you need. It has a large garden with plenty of space to relax and an amazing swimming pool. The location is great with just a 5 minute walk to the beach and local shop. The owner, Maria, did everything she could to make us feel comfortable, including organising transport to and from the airport and showing us around to orientate us. Having a car would have been helpful, but with a local shop, restaurants and bar it was no where near necessary and we managed fine without one. The small local town is about a 1km walk and the lovely town of Siracusa is only a 20 minute train ride away after a short walk to the station. The nearby beach is great, with white sand and crystal clear waters. It got a little busy at the weekends, but the rest of the week it was fine. We didn't go at peak season so don't know what it would be like during the busiest times. Overall a great place to stay and would happily recommend it.

A beautiful property, excellent location, great landlady!

We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s property, and she is an excellent host, was very helpful, generously resolving some issues which emerged on our first day,, being kind and patient! The location of the house is excellent in walking distance to Fontane Bianche’s beach, and a nice bar/bakery where one can find good bread and other snacks, some bars and restaurants. The house is in good condition, the grounds are of good size, beautiful gardens, although in need of some TLC. It has a beautiful warm swimming pool, which made our stay very enjoyable! After our days out, either to the beach or beaches around, or visiting historical sites we would stay in the swimming pool until going to bed, which was very relaxing! The house is of good size, beds were comfortable, air conditioning in two of the bedrooms were essential in the hot summer days and nights, it would be good if it could have another one in the third bedroom, fortunately we did not use it but had we needed the extra room it would have been hard to sleep in that room at night. The living dining room is very spacious, again would have benefitted from an air conditioning, but I can understand people tend to spend a lot of time outside so it may not be so essential, and o top of that, it consumes a great deal of electricity. The veranda was spacious enough for us to have lunch and dinner outside every day which was great. The kitchen was on the small size, no oven, just a combination microwave, which for me as a good home cook was a bit frustrating but we managed somehow. However I would like to mention, something I had already spoken to Maria about, that she needs to urgently change the sofa in the living room, which was falling apart and producing a great amount of dust and small fragments, coming from the disintegrating plastic cover. It meant I had to continuously clean the area, especially with a crawling grandchild exploring everywhere. Maria responded to my comments in a positive way letting me know that she is replacing the sofa soon. I highly recommend her property, and hope to return in the future.

Das Häuschen von Maria liegt sehr gut in Fontane Bianche. Für abwechslungsreiches Abendessen muss man ein wenig fahren, im Ort Pizzeria und Bäckerei und Bars. Die Außenanlage mit Pool ist ein Traum. Es gibt viele Sitzecken. Manche Möbel sollten mal erneuert werden. Schön ist, dass es 2 Badezimmer gibt. Und die Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet ist. Die Betten sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil die Matratze durchgehend ist und sehr hart bzw federnd. Für Wasserratten ist es ein tolles Domizil, kurzer Weg an den schönen Stand in einer wunderschönen Bucht und danach im Pool nochmal abkühlen. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Vielen Dank Maria

Tänk på att oktober är lågsäsong!

Först vill jag säga att kontakten med värdinnan Maria och hennes man fungerade mycket bra. Vi hade mailkontakt innan, och när vi kom dit mötte de upp oss trots att vi inte kom till helt rätt adress. De saker som dök upp under vår fjortondagars vistelse klarades också av utan problem. Det bestående intrycket påverkas dock rätt mycket av att Fontana Bianchi under vår vistelse (10-24 oktober) var rätt nedstängt. Det fanns en restaurang som serverade middag, alla övriga serverade endast lunch. Detta innebar att vi lagade middag själva i huset. Och detta satte fingret på att köket var väldigt litet och inte särskilt välutrustat. Trots att huset hade sex bäddar saknades viss grundläggande utrustning för sex personer. Glas, tallrikar, bestick, knivar, kastruller och stekpannor var udda och många dessutom slitna. Det fanns endast två vinglas! Detsamma gäller möblemanget. Det fanns fyra solsängar av olika slag. Det fanns sex matstolarna men de var udda. Vi fick intrycket att ägarna plockat undan sina egna saker och ställt ut ett hopplock av inredning men då inte fått ihop tillräckligt för att tillgodose så många gäster som det fanns sängplatser. Varmvattnet räckte inte riktigt till och det blev råkallt i huset eftersom vi hade otur med vädret där det både regnade ymnigt och var ganska kyligt. Allt var naturligtvis inte negativt; mycket var bra. Fin pool och ett kylskåp med frys som var mycket bra. Sammantaget åkte vi inte hem helt nöjda, men vi skyller detta delvis på att vi inte gjort vår egen research när det gäller hög/lågsäsong.

Unfortunately this year in Sicily there were a lot of rains in autumn. Due to the pandemic situation, many restaurants have preferred to close in the second half of October not only in Fontane Bianche but throughout Sicily in tourist places. In the kitchen, there is a full set of plates and glasses for 6-8 persons. But You're right, there were no glasses for the wine and I had already bought them. The table in the living room is perfect for 6 people and there are at least 8 chairs inside the house. Outside the house, there is a large table for 8 with chairs. We all have different tastes and I can understand that you didn't like my choice of furniture. Thank you for your review which will surely help me improve my home even better!

Warm welcome & sunny holiday

Starting with a very warm welcome due to all the necessary stuff in the kitchen you need when you arrive and of course Maria, who is very lovely and helpful. Excellent location, beautiful house and very friendly owner!

This was definitely the best vacation that we ever had! The house is really big and beautiful. It has absolutely everything you need. The pool is big, clean and very comfortable. We really loved it! The garden is absolutely fantastic! It was simply a great pleasure to stay in this place! The location is fantastic! Only few minutes walking to the beach (probably 5-6min). The bakery is only 1-2 min away. Has everything on needs. The next big city is Siracuse, which is really fantastic. The landlord is absolutely amazing! Maria is so kind and caring. She took a lot of time to explain us where are restaurants, how to get to the beach, even how to use different devices. Maria even booked tables in restaurants for us! Thank you very much! This was super kind! :) To sum up, it was a fantastic vacation! The house is worth every single Eurocent we paid for it. We simply loved it! We will be happy to stay again any time!

Véritable oasis pour profiter de la côte Sud Est

Une jolie villa à 10 mn à pied de la plage de Fontane Bianche. Nous garions la voiture dans la cour, pratique.Un peu sur les hauteurs au calme. Maria est adorable et laisse à disposition épicerie, produits de base dans les 2 salles de bain et linge de toilette à volonté, lessive bref on se sent comme à la maison. La literie est confortable, la cuisine bien équipée (pas de lave vaisselle). un mobilier basique mais nous vivions à l'extérieur donc pas de problème. Dommage que des problèmes de puissance électrique ne permette pas la clim dans la troisième chambre (2lits simples) où il fait très chaud ... Ce qui nous a surtout ravis c'est la piscine : 5x9m environ, eau parfaite chaude limpide nous y avons passé des heures! attention pas de sécurité enfant . Il n'y avait qu'un transat en prévoir au moins 2 serait nettement plus convivial :-) Un bar épicerie boulangerie à 200m pour les produits de base est pratique. Bref un excellent séjour (voiture recommandée), merci Maria!

First time in Sicily

Very nice well appointed spacious property,Maria was very helpful and met us on arrival. Excellent pool and lots of extra towels to use. The only thing I could fault was there was only one sunbed, although there were plenty of seating both in the shade and in the sun. The outside dining area was great and we used it a few times. Overall if I was to return to Fontane Bianche I would definitely return to this villa and would highly recommend you give it a try. Thanks Maria for the use of your lovely home.

Great villa

Really lovely villa and pool -very private but easy walk to beach. Lots of intetesting sites short drive away. Great communication with Maria via WhatsApp -made things very simple.

Private & extremely relaxing

We had a really relaxing 2 weeks at Maria's villa. The location is superb, a short distance to the beaches, restaurants and local shop. The villa, pool and the outside areas are all super. Lots of places to get sun and shade as the kids play in the pool. We had a car and would eat out every night in different towns. Ortiga, Marzameni, Noto are all lovely to visit. Maria is absolutely lovely and was always available if we needed anything. Thanks Maria !! D&N.

A lovely stay

Maria is a fantastic host and has a lovely villa. The outside space is just perfect with a great pool and sorting area outside set in a beautiful garden . This is a place to really get away from it all and relax . The house is very well equipped and spacious . We had a lovely stay in Fontane Bianche.

Einfach nur perfekt

Tolles Haus und Garten. Alles da was benötigt wird. Sehr ruhig und tolle Lage. Der Strand ist kurz, das Wasser sauber, warm und ca. 50m Stehereich. Für Kinder ein Traum. Die Aussenbeleuchtung hinterm Haus zum Grillen fehlt noch, man nimmt dazu die Nachttischlampe und stellt sie ans Fensterbrett - Voila! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Fantastica Villa con piscina e giardino

Abbiamo trascorso in 6 persone per una settimana in questa fantastica villa! Le stanze sono belle spaziose. La piscina ed il giardino sono da sogno. A pochi metri dalla casa si trova il bellissimo mare di fontane bianche. Grazie anche a la padrona di casa,Maria, che ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio dal primo al‘ultimo istante, in caso avessimo delle domande. Posso solo consigliare a tutti questa villa a fontane bianche.

Bella e nuova casa con piscina e vicino mare

La casa e' nuova, moderna si trova nella zona tranquilla e silenziosa, provvista di tutte le cose necessarie per la vacanza. Lavatrice,ferro da stiro, tv, a/r, parking e altre cose. I bambini sono rimasti troppo entusiasti della piscina illuminata di sera, del giardino con limoni. Invece per noi adulti a 3 minuti a piedi c'era bellissima spiggia con sabbia bianca e mare cristalino di Fontane Bianche. Posto meraviglioso e perfetto per le vacanze!!!
