The house is located in Mango d'Alba, one of the most beautiful areas of the Langhe, declared a World Heritage Site (UNESCO). Quiet area, surrounded by vineyards and greenery, thanks to 2500 square feet of garden around the villa, perfect for relaxing, for hiking and for visiting the most important cities of Langhe and the surrounding area. Ideal for families, couples or groups. The House is for the exclusive use of guests.
The furnishings are very modern, with rustic details typical of the area, such as brick and stone, the roof is exposed with wooden beams and wood flooring. Led lights that illuminate the walls of exposed stones and bricks. SMART TV TVs are the latest generation with integrated WI-FI.

10 minutes from the city of Alba and Asti. Nearby are the marvelous areas of Barolo and Barbaresco. Only 5 km from the town of Neive.
Possibility to buy wine bottles of the most prestigious Italian and international producers in the Villa Barbero, thanks to the wine shop inside.
The house has large panoramic windows overlooking the Langhe hills. Ideal for trekking and mountain biking

Each year the Truffle Fair with its food and wine specialties is held from 1 October to the end of November in the Unesco Heritage Langhe. This event, boasts thousands of visitors each year, and is famous all over the world and Villa Barbero is located in the center of these wonderful hills.

The villa is within easy reach of the UNESCO Heritage Sites, renowned restaurants and wineries. Owners give guests the opportunity to visit and taste the wines of the most famous farms in the area, upon reservation.
The staff is available 24 hours a day, ready to help guests and possibly accompany them to places of interest if needed.

Beautiful views, beautiful apartment, and the host Stepano, is amazing and gracious.

We had a wonderful stay there. There was coffee and even a bottle of wine. The apartment is beautiful and the views across the hills of vineyards was amazing. Stephano had great restaurant and activity recommendations.

We wanted a stay in the Piedmonte- Italy’s premier wine region. Stephano is an architect by training and it’s obvious in the property. He and his brother converted grandpa’s barn into quiet, modern, comfortable and infused with Italian design apartment. He, and his parents - 3rd generation wine makers who live next door-were delightful. The room was modern with great views of the countryside. Stephano had helpful insights into local towns. Neive and Alba were great. Oh... and we liked the wine!

We loved our stay. It was a perfect location for exploring the Piedmont.

We particularly noted the high quality construction, furnishing and the small touches—fresh flowers, crisp linens, a table cloth for the outdoor table, a bottle of the family wine, coffee and a parting gift. Stefano and his family were great hosts and provided useful tips and help along the way. What travelers should know: the common area is relatively small so the layout works better when the sofa sleeper is not needed. As a result, the apartment works better for three than five. But we managed well with five and the sofa sleeper is comfortable. The family is building out a second apartment and a pool, so great things are coming; but for now there is construction to contend with.

Stefano and Emilio Barbero, brothers and owners of Residence Villa Barbero. The Barbero family owns property generations. The villa, formerly an old barn, is today a completely restored dwelling, with very elegant and modern furnishings. The typical features of the area have been retained, such as stone walls and exposed bricks, exposed wooden beamed ceilings. The villa is immersed in the hills of Langhe, which has become a heritage of humanity (UNESCO). The view is breathtaking, thanks to the 2500 square meters of greenery around the villa you can admire the main towns and hills of the Langhe.
Stefano, after obtaining the Geometra diploma, contributed to the design of the villa, while his brother Emilio, who has always been a wine-loving fan, is now a prestigious wine producer and the opportunity to taste the typical wines of his Zone products from your company, and can also advise those who want to buy wines from other companies, among the most renowned, present in the wine shop from the villa.

Why they chose this property

Thanks to the growing tourism in the area, we have completely renovated this villa, making it very elegant, with its very modern design but with those typical rustic typical of our area. We have the opportunity to visit the most prestigious wineries in the area, to taste our prestigious Barbero Brothers wine. There is also the possibility to relax in the 2500 square meters of garden with views of Langhe and Monviso.

What makes this property unique

What strikes the house is its elegance, the view around it, and of course its typicalness. Elegant brick exposed bricks, stone walls and exposed bricks, exposed wood beams in the bedrooms and wood flooring.
The two wooden bath slabs have been retrieved by the advanced beams used for the roof. Inside the bathroom there is a shower head with rain effect and waterfall effect.
Around the villa there are ample garden areas where you can relax, have a barbecue or take a walk.
