Picture perfect stay in the Cotswolds

We absolutely loved our stay at Swallows Rest. The home was immaculate, tastefully restored but still charming, very well equipped and it's located in a quaint little village with friendly locals. Returning here after a day of exploring felt like coming home. We visited during the summer heatwave but the house was breezy, the stone walls and the fans in each room kept it comfortable despite the soaring temperatures outside.

Beautiful cottage, great location

Swallows Rest is a lovely, clean, well equipped and spacious cottage. We loved relaxing in the sun room with French doors out to the lovely garden. Lots of walks on the doorstep and amazing views.

Fantastic

We loved our stay at Swallows Rest Cottage. It's a fantastic place to use as a base for walking and the outside space was amazing to relax in, in the evening. Would very much recommend.

Very well equipped cottage in convenient location, excellent communication from hosts

This sweet cottage was very thoughtfully equipped for a peaceful stay. Everything was super clean, the owners generously left biscuits and even a bottle of sparkling wine. Very easy to find. Lovely garden, and great having the parking at the back of the house.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful location. Cottage was very clean & comfortable in a beautiful setting. Would definitely stay there again. Owners were wonderful. They addressed our questions promptly & we’re very helpful

Quiet retreat for family of 6

Swallows Rest is a nice and quiet 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath accommodation just one mile from Broadway.

Great stay!

Swallows Rest was a lovely house in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Would definitely recommend a stay here as it’s easy to get to places of interest and there are some great walks on the doorstep.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming Swallows Rest property. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. Our property hosts were helpful and responsive in answering questions and providing information about the area. It’s in a great location for day trips throughout the villages of the Cotswold. Our group of four women could not have been happier!

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in the well appointed and equipped cottage. Lovely outside space too for sitting and relaxing. There is plenty to do within a short drive and the village is pretty with some good walks across the fields too. Very enjoyable

“Gorgeous cottage in a fantastic location, great for Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton on the Water and the Cotswolds in general. Nicely furnished and so cosy! Highly recommend and can't wait to stay again!”

Cottage for family of 6

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage, we liked the kitchen / diner. The bedrooms were lovely and enough room for our large family. The sunroom and garden would be lovely in the summer.

Beautiful location

Having never been to the Cotswolds, this cottage was wonderful! It was cozy and the garden beautiful! We enjoyed our walks every evening. The town of Broadway is right down the road and we decided that it was our favorite Cotswold village.

Beautiful & Perfect

The entire house was perfect for our family. Lovely neighborhood and nearby to Broadway. We did many day trips from our cottage. Communication was fabulous; everything was exactly as described. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful cottage

We really enjoyed the comfort and views! Everything was clean and very comfortable. The Internet was very slow, and we would have liked to know which bins needed to go out - week1/week 2 didn’t help , but it was a fantastic location.

Really impressed, the property was immaculate and very well equipped. There was a bottle of bubbly in the fridge, chocolate biscuits and plenty of milk, sugar and coffee as part of the welcome pack.TVs in every bedroom, comfortable beds and plenty of towels and toiletries.Very convenient for visiting this very picturesque area.All in all, I would thoroughly recommend.

Stay at Swallows Rest Cottage

Swallows Rest cottage is a very well presented and equipped cottage in a beautiful location. The views from the Master Bedroom are wonderful and our children enjoyed watching the steam train pass. Laverton itself is a very picturesque village and makes a great base for exploring the local area, including Broadway which is a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this property

Perfect cottage in the Cotswolds

Ideal location to visit the Cotswolds, 2mn drive to Broadway and many restaurants around. But the cottage is perfectly equiped if you want to cook and enjoy this very cosy place. The team is very reactive over communication and help if needed. Highly recommended !

Magical weekend with friends

This is the perfect place for a weekend catching up with friends. There is lots to do in the local area, good eateries and beautiful scenery. Everything we could need was in the property. We had a wonderful time-we’ll undoubtedly return. Thank you.

Cosy stay

Lovely house with treasures and surprises! The house is well equipped, and owners are friendly. However, the location given seems to be wrong and we got into some trouble while looking for the house. Otherwise, really pleasant stay!

Delightful cottage in excellent location

This was the second time my friends and I have stayed in this cottage. It’s spacious and comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. There was a supply of tea, coffee & Prosecco all of which were very welcome. Both of our visits have been in November. We’d like to return again in the spring or summer to make the most of the pleasant outdoor space.

Wonderful Cotswolds Visit!

First time to visit the Cotswolds and could not have picked a better location! The cottage was very comfortable and plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out and relax. The neighborhood was everything we had been told about the Cotswolds. Friendly neighborhood and easy to walk to locations of interest. Well stocked cottage as well. We even grilled out, which coming from Texas was an added plus. Will not forget the three day visit for a long time!
