First an last VRBO experience

No internet or TV Ants in kitchen Owner sent one address and VRBO sent another - took one hour to find property No coffee No bath soap Miss matched and poor quality bath towels Other bugs Key box would not open Patio / garden in poor repair Only thing good about the property was that it is close to the beach Electric outlets not secured in wall Shower curtain not installed correctly so water leaks out Wasps on patio

Hello, I'm very sorry that you had a bad time. I wasn't on the island for the 2 days you spent in the studio and I managed to do my best on the phone to help you. The address i send is usually find very easily by everybody, it's the first time a guest needs an hour to find the place and 20mn with my help on the phone to open a key box. I'm sorry the bugs troubled you but this is a tropical island, we are struggling everyday to do our best to prevent bugs and other topical insects. This is a home location, not an hotel, we provide sheets an towels, (one for the beach, one for the shower), they surely are different, and so we don't provide shower soap and shampoo. The internet was working all along, the tv had an issue, but when I arranged someone to come fix it you send me a text asking me not to and the next guest make it work right away. I still wish you the best for the year coming and hope you will try again vrbo somewhere else. best regards Mathieu

One week in Mont Vernon

Everything was fine about our stay. We communicated very easily with the host.This was a first floor apartment with a walk out porch. When the door walls were open, we could hear the ocean and feel the breeze. People did walk by on the way to the pool or the ocean. A metal screen could be lowered next to the door walls electronically for privacy. We hung our clothes outside to dry but nothing was stolen.Everything was adequate for us. We did a little cooking (omelets, salads) and there was the usual cooking stuff (oil, spices, coffee, tea, etc.). There were brooms, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc.This studio was in the Saba section of the complex, about a 5 minute walk from the Pizza Mont Vernon down a path and some stairs. The pizza was pretty good. There is also a convenience store next door. There is a big pool that was clean and pleasant to use. We walked down the beach frequently to the other end where the nude beach is (about 30 minutes). About halfway down is a "village" with many restaurants, a small grocery store, several pastry shops, and other small shops. The only issue is after eating dinner, it is very dark, and walking in the dark on the beach did not seem like a great idea. We did and it was OK, but next time we will take a taxi.There is a SuperU supermarket, similar to those in the US, about 1.3 miles walking from the apartment. I have stayed at 3 apartments in this complex - it is a great spot.

Calme et vue imprenable

Logement idealement situé : tres ageeable de pouvoir aller à la plage a pieds! Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour assister aux feux d'artifices eu nouvel an et faire la fête à Orien Bay.

De bien belles vacances

Appartement très agréable idéalement situé. Nous avions déjà séjourné dans la résidence mais nous avons apprécié encore plus le séjour chez Mathieu en rez de jardin. L'impression d'avoir un immense jardin augmente le plaisir. L'appartement est bien agréable avec le nécessaire pour vivre un séjour reposant au soleil des Antilles. La piscine au top et la plage toute proche. Mathieu est un hôte très disponible si besoin. Nous recommandons.

Love Mt Vernon & Orient Beach

We stayed 8 weeks and were very happy! The unit was very clean and well equipped with all we needed. The host, Mathieu, was always prompt to communicate and quick to respond to any needs. The property is well lit ,safe and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this rental and hope to be back again ourselves to enjoy beautiful St Martin!!

Un super studio !

Un studio très agréable, très bien tenu, dans un cadre idyllique avec une vue paradisiaque. Il est possible de rendre à pied à la plage d'Orient Bay. La résidence est calme, sécurisée, proche des commodités et de l'aéroport. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer notre hôte. Toutefois, il est disponible par Whatsapp, par mail et par téléphone. Nous avons passé un très très bon séjour. Si nous avons la chance de retourner à Sxm, nous n'hésiterons pas à recontacter Mathieu. Adresse à recommander vivement.
