Everything was excellent, the only thing I would say negative about the place is late night noise. This place is located in an intersection and has heave traffic. The scooters rev their engines a lot here making ton of noise most of the night. There is also a bar across the street with loud people. If you are a light sleeper you might want to pick another spot.
Lovely apt. I have stayed here 4-5 times. While the street is lively (noisy) I didn't mind. Only issue is the toilet does not flush well and no toilet paper holder.
This unit was exactly as advertised. Check in was easy. We found a nice bar/restaurant downstairs for delicious lunches. Also Conad the grocery store is very close by for in house snacks and home made dinners. The Colosseum, Roman Forum and Pallentine Hill are all about 10 min walk away. We were very happy here. It is a bit noisy at night because of a couple bars nearby. Just make sure to pack your earplugs and if you forget there is a pharmacy down the street to pick some up. We had a nice time. Unit was very spacious.
Ok let me just start with I am not in great physical shape, so when i say nearly everything is a10-20 min walk away it is, even with the hills. The neighborhood is nice all the restaurants in the immediate area are good (one was on an Instagram video i saw) There was 1 small issue that was fixed by the owner right away. The beds were comfortable. The only reason i gave it a 4 and not a 5 star is the noise from the street and its not just because of the restaurants people walking to the Coliseum (you can see it from the window) and the cars coming down the street. And the garbage pick up every morning the sound of glass being thrown into the truck woke me up everyday. But if you're the type that can sleep thru anything you're golden I recommend ear plugs or taking the bedroom to the left if you're a light sleeper its a little better.
Located half way between Colisseum and Termini, not far from Cavour Metro, surrounded by restaurants and tavernas. Easy walk to Trevi amd Spanish steps.
Huge 2 bed appt.
Wouldnt stay anywhere else
My 4th or 5th stay at this apartment. It is a clean, well kept rental.
The property was very nice, and centrally located for my work in Rome. However, the 3 restaurants right under my windows are very noisey until 1am every night. The traffic on Via Panesperna is much busier than in the past, so it too makes the apartment a noisy place to be.
This is a large, comfortable apartment in central Rome. We love Monti for its accessibility to such a large part of Rome (we love to walk and explore) and for its lively, friendly neighborhood.
The trade-off is that there's a lot of surrounding activity into the later hours. This is something you have to accept for the other positives.
Wonderful location and apartment in the Monti neighborhood! Great restaurants right there, easy grocery around the corner, also gelato! Can see the Colosseum right down the street. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly and loved having a comfortable convenient place to return to each day.
Only comment would be no toilet paper, kitchen towels (or even paper towels) or extra trash bags; these seem like basics to me. Kitchen items only what other guests have left, which thankfully did include olive oil and salt for us. These were inconveniences but we had good communication with the owner and thoroughly enjoyed this apartment in Monti. Thank you!
Apartment is spacious and comfortable for family of 4. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants and is close to Colosseum and other attractions.
We had read reviews about street noise but didn’t think it could be so bad, unfortunately we were wrong. The restaurants downstairs were ok and settled down by midnight. But the constant yelling on the street, trash trucks and delivery trucks went all night-morning long. The windows did not seem to buffer any of the noise, you can hear everything. The smaller bedroom next to bathroom seemed to be louder than the larger room.
Great location, nice property, very poor window sound insulation, hot running water only in bathtub with hectic flow, either it is icecold or you burn yourself. No hot running water at the sink and in the kitchen
We had a wonderful time at Panisperna. Great location, 10-15 minute walk anywhere you want to go. Great food options nearby, La Licata, Trieste, Pasta Chef. As the other reviews said, it was a bit loud but that never bothered us since we were so tired by the end of day. It took us a bit to figure out the washer but the clothes hung dried very quickly, even in February! We were happy we did the airport transfer with our bags. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a lovely time I your well equiped and spacious apartment

Wonderful Apartment, Noisy Street
There’s a very popular restaurant directly next door. People party out front until very late, 1 AM, maybe later. Everything else: could not ask for a better location, or a more spacious and clean apartment.
The apartment itself is in a fantastic location. The Colosseum is literally at the end of the street from the apartment. It's so close that we walked to it a couple of times, just because!
The neighborhood is called Monti and is a great way to experience Rome by being close to the sights yet not be in a tourist trap. Plenty of local eateries, bars and gelaterais within 3-4 minutes of walking. There are a couple of small convenience stores within 1-2 minutes or a large grocery store about 8 minutes away. Very convenient if you want to make your own breakfast before heading out the door for your Rome adventures.
The apartment is situated in a residential building that houses a busy (and fantastic) restaurant below it. So as others have noted, it could get a bit noisy in the evenings. But we were always so tired by the end of the day that we would fall asleep the moment our heads hit the pillow!
The apartment was well furnished with a clean and decent kitchen. The heaters worked great and kept us warm in the cool December nights. The hot water heater seems to be a tankless one so we didn't encounter any issues with hot water during the entire stay. The wifi was fast and stable. Both the bedrooms were very spacious with plenty of space to stretch out for all four of us.
The only issue that we had was that we had to wait for a while to get access to the apartment. We later got to know that the person who was supposed to meet us and do the walk-through was given the wrong address and he was waiting in another location. But he was very apologetic for the delay.
If I were to go back to Rome, I would definitely book another stay here.
We were a family of 3 that stayed 8 nights. We found the apartment comfortable, clean and very centrally located. We walked everywhere- Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well-it was very hot in Rome during our stay. Lots of great restaurants, gelato shops, grocery stores and metro stop all within walking distance.
Our check-in was seamless. Savio was very
responsive to our questions and organized our transfers from the airport and to the cruise terminal.
The only downside was that it was noisy in the evenings..,however, we were so tired that the noise did not bother us after the first night.
We would highly recommend this apartment.
