Bungalow Kefalonia Greece: cute 2 bedroom bungalows by Spartia beach, veranda

Our cozy bungalows Mihaila Seaside Village are located a couple of minutes walk from the pretty beach of Spartia (Klimatsias).

There are 4 bungalows on a lovely, green territory, full of various trees, flowers, shrubs and decorated with flower pots, hand-made things.

Each bungalow is designed for 4-5 persons. One bedroom has 2 single beds, the other has one double bed.

Upon request, we will arrange an extra bed for the 5th guest, placing it in one of the bedrooms or the living room.

The bathroom is equipped with WC, shower and sink.

The living room has several areas: a well-equipped kitchen area with a full-size fridge, stove, sink and dining table; a relaxation area with a coffee table, sofa.

On a cute veranda or patio, our guests can relax, spending time with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There is a grill equipped in the yard – all guests are welcome to use it!
The guests can park their cars in our parking lot, located opposite the bungalows.
The beach of the village of Spartia offers quiet, warm waters, sheltered from the waves. The entrance to the water is smooth, the bottom is sandy, which will surely please families with small children.

We offer FREE transfer from the airport on arrival.

In the lagoon you will also find rocks from which you can dive into the water. The beach will not disappoint those who like to snorkel.

Behind the ledge is another magical beach - wild Termanti with incredibly clear water. To get on it, you need to climb to the tavern of Isalos and, turning left, go along the white fence to an inconspicuous staircase leading down.

The center of Spartia village with a couple of shops, a tavern and a bar is 2 km from the bungalows. The road goes uphill, so we recommend having a car. It will also give you the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauties of Kefalonia!

Goods from the mini market can be ordered by phone, delivery is free.

Best choice ever!

At Katarina you get the carefree package! Starting with a transfer from the airport, a lovingly basic equipment (handmade jam for example), frequent inquiries for any whishes. The whole area and the individual bungalows are really very nice. There is everything you need. One can be privat. And we loved the outside shower. We‘ll truly come again.

A great welcome

The owner could not be more welcoming. There was food waiting for us on arrival and cakes mid week. The cottages have a great location overlooking the beach, close to good resturants. It is a quite place, with only the sound of crickets at night as you watch the mountain turn red in the sunset from the terrace. The beach is small but never too crowded, clean with rocks to jump off. A car is needed for shops, but the location is close to the airport, but with no disturbance from plane noise. Easy to get to all places in the south of the island by car. Highly recommended.

Great Stay.

The Bungalow was in the perfect position for the beach and restaurants. Less than the 4 minutes walk advertised and you’re in the sea. Located just 20 minutes from the airport but all the time we were there we neither saw or heard a single plane. The hostess Katerina was beyond brilliant and incredibly helpful. We couldn’t have had wished for a better stay.

Perfect in every way!

It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with this beautiful place. The pretty bungalow is perfectly situated, a minute’s walk down the hill to the beach. We spent every morning there, enjoying the early hours from 7.30 - 11 ish when it was really quiet before the short, steep walk back up to the bungalow to enjoy the fantastic view from the shade of our front terrace. The outdoor shower was an added bonus for cooling down between trips to the beach. In the afternoons, we had great fun jumping off the rocks and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. What made our trip particularly special was our wonderful host, Katerina, and her daughter Angela, (who had prepared a delicious meal for us to enjoy on our arrival). They welcomed us so warmly and left us to enjoy our holiday feeling completely at home. We needed for nothing, but felt that we could have asked for anything! Their souvenir shop - a wonderful collection of work from local artists, jewellers, ceramicists and more - is not to be missed! Spartia is a small, charming town - a rather steep half-hour walk away, so a car is recommended. But there are two lovely restaurants within very manageable walking distance - and we enjoyed lots of evenings barbecue-ing on the terrace. If you’re not looking for neat rows of sun beds on the beach and want a proper escape to a charming Kefalonian community, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’re already planning our next visit…

great place!

wonderful stay! incredibly welcoming host who went above and beyond in a lot of ways, cooked for us on the day of our arrival and left some foodstuffs for is in the fridge which was really nice after a long day of travel. close to a fantastic, quiet beach, convenient spot on the island, a couple of great tavernas within a short walk.. can't say enough!

A lovely bungalow in a idyllic location

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of Katerina ‘s lovely bungalows. The location was idyllic, close to the beach, with wonderful views from our bungalow, close to tavernas to eat out in the evening and only twenty minutes from the airport. The bungalow was beautifully presented and lots of thought had been put into visitors stay, the kitchen had all the equipment required for your stay. The terrace had plenty of chairs and tables to relax. My only negative comment would be the shower in the bathroom as things got a bit wet, however there was an outdoor shower too to wash down after the beach which was very useful. Katerina made us very welcome throughout our stay, she had left out food for us on our late arrival as well as collecting us off our flight, which was much appreciated. A hire car was a must as there was so much to see around the island, we enjoyed coming back to the peace and beauty of Spartia in the evening as there are more touristic resorts around but we preferred the tranquility of the location. My thanks to the lovely Katerina for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place to stay; I thoroughly recommend it!

Stayed with my husband and two daughters (14 and 12). We were close to the beach: 2 mins walk down the hill, where there were two restaurants. Beautiful, shallow, sandy beach. There was another beach, 8-10 mins walk away: Thermanti, which we also frequented, which was like paradise! Smaller but even clearer sea, again sandy. Altogether, 3 restaurants within walking distance. The villa was lovely: a good size kitchen with lots of outside space and seating areas which were just ours. There were 3 sets of tables and chairs for us to chose from! We didn't hire a car but walked up to the mini market in the village for provisions. Our hosts, Katerina, her husband and her daughter, Angela, were wonderful! They were incredibly generous: cooking us a meal, cakes, and helping us with excursions to the large supermarket and to Argostoli. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! We will definitely be returning.

Lovely cottage with lots of space and close to two beaches and tavernas

The cottage is lovely - although in the same area as 4 other cottages, it is very private with wonderful outdoor area, outdoor shower, and veranda. Katarina is close by and very helpful - lots of lovely touches like food when we arrived, fresh honey and grapes during the week. There is easy parking and a laundry. A great place to stay. Spartia beach is lovely in evenings and the nearby cove (along path 150 m) is secluded and wonderful. Two tavernas nearby (iasolos and Panos) are good and Waterways great for evening drinks. Beaches are sandy and water warm. a great holiday.

Comfortable and characterful property, lovely hosts.

A very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with a delicious meal on our first night which was a great way to settle in. The apartment was spotless and charming with the double doors from the main bedroom overlooking fruit trees. The shaded out door area was private and a lovely place to sit in the evening. Great kit, shower, air conditioning etc.

Very beautiful island and overwhelming hospitality

We never had a wellcome and hospitality like what Katerina offered. Thank you so much! The island has a very beautiful landscape, nice beaches and offers some urban comfort at Argostoli. We had nice sight seeing, trekking in the mountains and paddling in the sea. Overall we think about redoing the stay.

Sweet little house

We were very happy to rent this cottage for 2 weeks. This sweet little house was perfect for us! It is beautifully decorated in country style. Very clean, and the owners were so helpful trying to make our stay comfortable. Local taverns - Panos and Black cat - had great food, we really enjoyed it. Spartia beach is fantastic and is only few steps from the cottage. We intend to return to Kefalonia and we will definitely choose to stay in this cute cottage again!

Wonderful

Wonderful, clean cottage very close to the beach. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place was clean and well kept. Great for family with kids. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended!

Очаровательные домики, уютненькие, чистенькие. Хозяйка с дочерью удивительно гостеприимные люди, милые, заботливые. Мы действительно чувствовали себя, как дома! Пляж очень близко, у берега не глубокий, детям безопасно. Старший сын и муж ныряли со скалы и плавали в масках, из воды было не вытащить :) Очень понравился тур - рыбалка на катере: таких вкусных омаров никогда и нигде ели ))) В общем, мы в восторге от всего! Следующим летом только к Катерине!!!

Ideal for family

We had a blast here! It was clean, cosy,quiet and very comfortable. Ideal place to take the family. The hosts were very accommodating and provided everything that we need and even more.
