This Villa has two floors All rooms are beautifully furnished to the highest standards.Downstairs has a open plan fully equipped kitchen- dining -living area opening on to a large terrace which overlooks the citrus garden and has amazing sea views. From here we can walk down to the pool through the garden .Also on this floor is twin or double bedroom according to guest wishes and a bathroom with shower.
Walking up the stairs we get an beautiful view of the pool ,garden and the sea through the large stair window. On the upper floor we have a spacious twin/double room with balcony , a bathroom with spacious shower and a double room with a gorgeous balcony .It is so lovely to sit here and look out on the pool ,the garden ,the olive groves and the clear blue sea.

Highly recommend

We had a fabulous holiday at Forget Me Not villa. The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect holiday, including all important air conditioning as the weather was hot hot hot! The beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equiped. We loved the spacious pool area and enjoyed bbqs at the outdoor kitchen. The proximity to the airport was not an issue for us and we enjoyed the entertainment of the planes.Joanne was an excellent host. The welcome pack was extensive and helped us to relax quickly and she quickly responded to any questions.We definitely hope to return.

Absolutely perfect holiday the villa was Beautiful clean well equipped. The most stunning view near to local shops and restaurants communication from Joanne was perfect even a thoughtful welcome package which got us started. She checked in too ensure we were ok and always answered quickly any questions we had . Yes you see the planes but we actually enjoyed watching them and not too many come in as small airport so I’m with others it became a highlight watching them when they did ,it was so perfect we have already booked next year and a longer stay and we’re fussy so that says it all thanks Joanne see you next year

An amazingly wonderful place to stay

The property is beautifully furnished and equipped. We loved the pool and various seating areas. Lovely communal areas for all occasions. The villa is convenient for the airport , local villages and shopping. Beautifully peaceful but just a short hop to Lassi and Argostoli. We would love to come back and will definitely recommend to our friends. You can see planes taking off from the villa but we didn't mind that , in fact we quite enjoyed it. Thank you to Joanna and her family !

Lovely villa. Fantastic views.

Great property in a great location. We didn't have a car and managed fine, although a car would've been good for a few days. There are enough bars/restaurants within walking distance as is Ammes beach. The proximity of the airport isn't a problem at all. No early or late flights. Joanne was great. Always on hand if required. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Spacious comfy villa with great facilities

Brilliant pool, spacious and well equipped villa. Beds and pillows comfortable. Great welcome pack to get us started for first evening/morning. Indoor dining table ok for 4 people, but would not be big enough for 6. Minor point, but would be really helpful to have had a small chopping board and some containers for storing food in the fridge.

A Quirky Piece of Paradise

What can I say?? Forget Me Not Villas in our humble opinion was a wonderfully perfect ‘home from home’ for our week stay in Kefalonia. A little quirky because you are literally at the end of the airport runway but as other guests point out the planes are really no bother at all … more the attraction as you spot the planes arrivals and departuress… actually quite useful for our small group as we could literally see the arrival of our friend who was joining us… and the commute to airport literally 3 minutes drive, it worked out perfectly. The villa itself (we stayed in No.1) is beautiful, well equipped, spacious, private and when no planes are about, extremely peaceful. Joanne looked after us if we needed any help with anything. There are restaurants/tavernas about a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by car… if you’re planning to walk bring a head torch or something in your suitcase ( just in case one beer becomes a few more and it gets dark…) The location is perfect in terms of getting about the island. Lidl 10 min drive for big shopping, smaller supermarket is by the airport (so couple of mins in car or 10 min walk)… there is a beach by the tavernas, Lassi was a 15 mins drive, where we hired a small speedboat from Lassi Boat Hire (which was definitely an absolutely amazing day out!! So all in all we would definitely recommend Forget Me Not Villas👍 just got back home yesterday and already thinking about booking the next trip out! 😍

Absolutely fantastic Villa

We enjoyed 10 glorious days at this beautiful Villa in August and did not want to leave. The Villa is spacious, kitchen is huge and well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, the BBQ is fantastic set just in front of the Villa surrounded by lemon trees and a dining area. The pool is just perfect, comfortable sun beds and large area to relax with a book under the parasols or trees. Fully air conditioned and sound proofing throughout with very comfortable beds so you definitely get a good nights sleep. You can view the runway but it’s entertaining, no flights at night or in the morning so you’ll not be disturbed or woken up. 3 minutes to Ammes Beach, 4 minutes to Eglina Beach and 5 minutes to Minies Beach or Helios beach, all small coves with perfect white sandy beaches and safe swimming, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Supermarket 2 minutes by car for every day essentials and Lidl 15 minutes away for everything else. Restaurants in Svoronata just 2 minutes drive away. 10 minutes easy drive along to Lassi’s nightlife and onto Argostoli’s pretty town, lots of shopping and restaurants in the large square and along the port.

Fabulous stay!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the villa. It was extremely clean and well furnished with all we needed available. The pool and outside area are fantastic and we all enjoyed the fabulous weather at the villa. Joanne was very helpful and easy to contact if required. The area has some great places to eat and was a great base for us to see other parts of the island. Would definitely recommend.

Unique Villa - great Location

This villa has outstanding outdoor space, the best we with have experienced and superb views too. We loved being close to the airport, great for when we picked up/dropped off our family who joined us for part of our stay. We loved the plane spotting from the balconies too, an added attraction rather than a disruption! Joanne was super helpful and attentive and had the quickest response times to any queries, questions we had. The welcome pack was generous too, equipping us with all the basics we needed. The location of the villa is ideal and easy to access by car. We loved the fact that we were in walking distance to Ammes beach which has a selection of Bars and Taverna’s, so we didn’t always need to use the car. A great location for our early morning walks and only a short, easy drive to Argostoli where we were lucky once again to see the Turtles and watch the visiting cruise ships dock. The youngsters in our group also used the bus service to visit the Bars and Restaurants in Lassi, a very reliable service. We would absolutely recommend this villa and we are looking forward to booking again – thank you Joanne for a great holiday!

A dream stay

We stay in Kefalonia almost every year with my family. This was our first stay at Forget Me Not Villa and this property was wonderful. The property owner was very responsive via text or email and was a pleasure to work with. She left us a thoughtful care package of grocery essentials at the beginning of our stay which was very useful and helpful after a long day traveling. The property has a clear view of the ocean and the sunset. It is also situated so that you can see planes landing and taking off from the airport which was fun for the kids. The noise was not an issue at all and I’m pretty sure the house is sound proof because we didn’t hear anything for the 2 weeks we stayed here. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was perfect. With small kids, an added bonus was that the pool wasn’t very deep and they could stand in the shallow end. Location was fairly short drives to beaches and main town. I can’t wait to return!

A perfect stay, with a perfect host

The villa has been superb, beautifully finished. I get the impression the owners have quite the eye for detail. The little touches of comfort are everywhere. Joanne was an exemplary host, with a perfect mix of instant response, forward leaning help and allowing us all the privacy a villa holiday requires. The owners also have a restaurant in Argostoli, which is in the most perfect spot and the food is absolutely fantastic. I read the reviews about the airport proximity and was a little concerned. I needn't have been. It really is quite fun, watching the planes arrive and go. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Forget me not villas to anyone and hope to return as soon as I can.

Wonderful

Really lovely property with all you could need for a wonderful stay. Joanne and her daughter Anna are the perfect hosts and go out of there way to make sure everything is ok. We arrived 24hrs late due to the cyclone that hit the region and there was no electricity or water for a few hours but Joanne made sure we were OK. We had a very relaxing time and will definitely return at some point in the future. Thanks again. G and J.

Forget Me Not definitely

We arrived quite tired from an early UK flight so it was really appreciated that we could check in early. Everything was as described and spotlessly clean. The welcome basket was very thoughtful and tied us over until we could do a shop. The decor was lovely and made for a very comfortable stay. The pool area was great and we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the wonderful sunsets from the terrace over an early evening drink. They were stunning! We had read about how close the villa is situated to the runway. It was interesting to see flights land and take off and on busier days it was a little noisy. But most of the time it didn’t bother us at all as we were out and about visiting different parts of the island or spending the time at Makrios Galios beach which was a short drive from the villa. The location was pretty good and accessible to everything we wanted to do. Unfortunately at the tail end of the holiday we were caught up with the Mediterranean cyclone which was a disappointing end to what was otherwise a very relaxing week. Joanne allowed us to stay an extra night as our flight was cancelled and we were extremely grateful for this. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay in your beautiful villa Joanne!

Forget me not villa 1

We are a family of four who stayed for 10 days in villa 1. The villa is very well located for exploring the island. We went to a different beach every day. The villa is modern and comfortable and cleverly designed so you can get the sun (or shade) at different times of the day. We loved the pool too and the amazing sunsets. Joanne was a brilliant host and the welcome basket was very thoughtful. We would definitely recommend this villa to other families.

Fabulous family holiday.

A lovely well equipped villa, in a beautiful spot we enjoyed having breakfast watching the boats sail by with a lovely sea view from the veranda. It’s quite out of the way down a stoney track but close to bars and restaurants and the beach ( just as we like it ) so a car is highly recommended . We Were celebrating my (60) big birthday and the Prosecco and birthday card were a lovely surprise on arrival thank you Joanne. It was my autistic granddaughters first experience of a holiday abroad and she loved having her own private swimming pool to jump in and out it was ideal . Would highly recommend forget me not villa and hope to return soon.

Never to be forgotten!

Tutto quello che si può desiderare lo trovi. La villa e splendida, dettagli molto curati, arredamento e attrezzature scelte per procurarti soddisfazione e confort. La vista da ogni punto della villa, del giardino e della piscina è magnifica e inoltre, trovandosi in un uliveto, si è sempre avvolti da un profumo di erbe e romantiche e di sole. Da qui si possono raggiungere facilmente tutte le spiagge, Argostoli e tutti i servizi. La macchina è necessaria. La presenza di un bagno e di una camera da letto al piano terra sono stati molto apprezzati dai miei genitori. Joanne è stata veramente cara, ha avuto attenzione e cura per ogni nostra esigenza e con molta discrezione. Kiani Akti, il ristorante sul mare che gestisce la famiglia, è stato come ricordavo molto piacevole. L’unico problema che ho avuto e stato pensare che sarei dovuta andare via...

Where do I start, Forget Me Not Villa No.1 was amazing, the location close to the airport was 5mins by Taxi. The actual Villa itself is stunning, the décor is beautiful and not fussy. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. The landscaped gardens and pool was the icing on the cake. This property is a must stay!! The owner Joanne is lovely, she was very prompt with any queries we had and when we met her on arrival she was very accommodating with getting the house turned around as quickly as possible - we were on an early flight out. We also went to her restaurant in Argostoli and that too was very good and nice to see a different part of the Island. I would suggest hiring a car for this property although the beach and mini mart is a 15-20min walk away. I would thoroughly recommend this property as we (my family) really enjoyed it and we will be back to visit for sure. Thank you for the lovely memories! Julie (4-11 June 2019)

Beautiful villa, home away from home

Our flight was due in late morning. Joanne offered us the option to leave our cases whilst the villa was being cleaned. When we arrived they had just finished and we were able to get in early. Joanne came back early evening to make sure we were ok and check if we needed anything. The villa is well equipped and nicely furnished. The pool is wonderful and we loved sitting out there late evening as the sun set. The loungers have cushions so nice and comfortable. Access is down a chalky road just a few minutes from the Airport. Apart from villa No. 2 there is really only one other neighbour who has a cheerful rooster and several chickens etc. Unusually we had a day with 2 storms and a lot of rain. We could only get a couple of English channels on the TV. It was difficult to know what to do. There are some books but could have done with a game or two. You can see the end of the runway from the veranda. It's interesting watching the planes come and go. Quite busy at the weekend but much less so during the week. There are a few local shops for groceries but we headed to Lidl's which took about 15 mins. Ate in Lassi a couple of times and visited Argostoli. Plan was to chill for a week and that's pretty much what we did. Would definitely recommend Forget me not Villas.

Perfect villa in a beautiful setting

We have just enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Forget Me Not Villas. Kefalonia is such a beautiful island to explore. The villa was fabulous and the pool was a big hit for the girls. It was all spotless and we had linen changes during our stay. Joanne had thought of everything and all the extra personal touches made it a perfect holiday. Kiani Akti is the restaurant owned by Joanne and Andronikos in Argostoli and we highly recommend a visit. We had a lovely dinner sat out looking at the sea which made a perfect evening. For anyone worried about the close proximity to the airport please don’t. It didn’t bother us at all and the girls quite enjoyed seeing the odd plane. Thank you again for a fantastic holiday in such a beautiful setting. Hope to visit you again soon.
