“The Nest” is better than ever! This charming beach cottage is just steps from one of Florida’s most beautiful pet-friendly white sand beaches. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind, this cozy getaway offers everything you need for a relaxing coastal escape.

Kevin the host is awesome to correspond with. It was raining some during our trip. He emailed out of the blue and offered to give us gate access to another property he had with a community pool just so we could swim. The location is so convenient to the beach. You can literally walk out of the house onto the street and see the ocean. The full time neighbors around the house are so friendly and willing to answer questions you may have about the area. We normally go to Pensacola Beach but it’s a very busy area. If you’re looking for a slower pace without all the shops and money gimmicks, give Mexico beach a shot. Very laid back. We will be going back in October hopefully.

We currently live in the North Metro Atlanta area where we raise our 3 kids. We love the Gulf coast and travel to the Florida white sand beaches frequently. We fish, golf, travel and enjoy life!


Why they chose this property

We bought this cottage for our vacation home while living in the Atlanta area. We couldn't get enough of this peaceful, friendly place, so we bought this gulf view home. We have a home in metro Atlanta and have decided to share this cottage with others who have fallen in love with the Gulf and the white sand beaches!

What makes this property unique

We love to walk our dog on the beach, watch our kids swim and play in the sand, ride bikes along the coast, campfires on the beach at night and take the boat out to catch some fish. If we don't feel like cooking, we head to Killer Seafood for nationally-recognized Killer Fish Tacos or a bread bowl full of fresh, local seafood and Award-winning Killer Seafood Sauce. Yum! Or, a trip to Provisions in Port Saint Joe- just a short drive up the coast to the east. Incredible food!
