The studio is located in the Simpson Bay Yacht Club. A gated residence with 24 hours security, a swimming pool overlooking the lagoon and yacht club, a swimming pool in a tropical garden, an outdoor jacuzzi, 2 tennis courts, located on the lagoon. Within walking distance you will find beaches, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, night-life hotspots. The Simpson Bay Yacht Club is located in the Simpson Bay area. The distance to the airport is approx. 10 minutes by car.

Second stay at Simpson Bay Yacht Club

Lovely condo in the heart of Simpson Bay Area! Close to all amenities, gated community and Kim is an excellent host! Everything I needed for my vacation was within walking distance. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting Sint Maarten!

Very comfortable studio close to everything

Stayed here for a few nights. Lots of restaurants, groceries, movies, casinos, etc. within walking distance. Great beaches easily reached by car, taxi or transport bus. Kim is a wonderful, responsive hostess doing whatever she could to ensure an enjoyable stay!

Home away from home

Everything about our stay was better than we had hoped for. Our property manager,Kim, met us on time, showed us the unit and provided us with all the info we needed about the local area. From cleanliness to security to the beautiful swimming pools and location, we could not have been happier.

We enjoyed ourselves our 4 nights in our studio! Very clean and well maintained. Kim met us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the studio! Quite, Comfortable and Secure community with two large pools, which we had all to ourselves in the afternoon after touring the island. We will definitely book again!

St Maarten Yacht Club Condos

Was suppose to have a studio unit. AC broke before I arrived. Manager upgraded me to a one bedroom unit at no additional charge.Loved convinence of being able to walk to breakfast. Easy rides to many SImpson Bay restaurants. Intend to stay again. Pools were nice.

Exactly as described, and well worth the price. Everything you need and the Owner is right there to help with any issues. Only a few yards to Pizza Italy was a bonus!

Perfect location!!

Kim is a wonderful host with the most! We enjoyed our stay as it was exactly what we were looking for. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Gated community with easy parking to the unit.

Perfect location

For us the location so close to the marina was exactly what we wanted, since we were meeting up wi/ family who live on a boat. The apt. Itself was roomy, adequately furnished and pleasant. The AC, dishwasher and washer/dryer all worked well. However, It was a bit dated and shabby, and there are some minor maintenance issuesā€”like a constantly running toilet and a back door that doesnā€™t lock securely.

24 hour gated community

Easy access to airport, great beaches and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Unit had plenty of space for 2 people. Also, a nice patio/yard. Pool w/hot tub overlooking marina and Sumpson Bay.

Great Location and Amazing Hospitality

We really enjoyed our stay at Kims place at SBYC. The unit is a very large studio that was perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. Having the grill on the patio was a very welcome surprise. Kim was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. The location was perfect for walking to several restaurants and lots of night life. I would recommend Kim and this property to anybody coming to St. Maarten.

Everything was exellent the studio is just perfect šŸŒ“šŸŒ“šŸŒ“šŸŒ“šŸŒ“(5 palms) . I did not a car no problem, easy with a bus. The residence is so beautifil. Everybody is so friendly of course is the frendly IslandšŸŒ“šŸ’›šŸŒ“. Kim the owner is absolutly perfect, available all the time, she is so Nice . I come back in September. Too hurry

Great studio in the perfect location

We spent 3 wonderful weeks at Kim and Gert's Simpson Bay Yacht Club condo. We've been travelling to St Maarten for 30 years and had always wanted to stay at the SBYC. The condo is a roomy studio with a full well equipped kitchen and a nice garden view. It's an easy walk to either of the 2 pools which overlook Simpson Bay Lagoon. One of the pools is good for swimming laps as well. Kim and Gert are very accommodating and hospitable. They live in the Yacht Club and are always available either by knocking on their door or sending a message through VRBO messaging. The location is perfect with great restaurants and beaches in walking distance. There are two great sit down or take out bakery/breakfast places right in the neighborhood. At La Sucriere, one of the bakeries, you can also get yummy sandwiches to take to the beach for $6. Bavaria, across the street is a really good German restaurant that has a Friday night outside barbeque and happy hour that should not be missed. This is a gated community with guards on duty 24/7 so security is not a concern. The guards get to know you and open the gate as you drive or walk up. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in Simpson Bay

While trying a different approach after 25 years of visiting St. Martin, we discovered this little jewel among the Simpson Bay options. The location was perfect for walking to almost all our favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. The Patisserie was a block away and the tennis courts were outside our front door! The condo itself had all the amenities, including a very comfy king-sized bed, a brand new flat screen TV (Kim will understand this), big enough kitchen, washer/dryer and ample bathroom. One of the two pools is right out the patio entrance as well. The living area faces east so it was dark inside as the day went by and we could have used stronger light in the evening. Kim and her husband were wonderful hosts and ready to help out in minutes.

Great little condo

I'd really like to give the condo 4.5 stars as there are only minor touch ups/upgrades that could be done to make it 5 stars. Kim was an incredibly hospitable and responsive owner, prompt and courteous responses to and inquiries I had. I enjoyed my week stay here in the Simpson Bay Yacht Club, seems like the immediate area dodged any significant damage from the hurricane as all the amenities were in operating order and just some minor clean up/touch up work being performed in the neighborhood. Location is ideal for walking to many restaurants/bars in the area so you could just get away with riding a shuttle or taxi if you want to get out of Simpson Bay, no car really needed in my opinion if you stay local. Kitchen was adequately stocked and furniture was quite comfortable. The condo had all the linens one would need for pool, shower, bedding, etc. Internet was quick and reliable for the duration of my stay. For constructive criticism as I mentioned before the place only needs a few things to be near perfect, some kitchen drawers can be finicky about opening and some fresh paint inside would update it's look. Lastly the screen/netting to allow the sliding doors to be left open is kind of ineffective, if there's a slight breeze the netting will blow in allowing bugs to fly into the condo. Would recommend finding a way to secure the bottom to the floor and perhaps use velcro on the sides to keep sealed around the opening. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone needing a conveniently located and well appointed place to vacation around Simpson Bay!
