Beautifully appointed and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in this fantastic traditional Spanish town which has won awards for being one of the wonders of Spain.

The apartment is spread over 2 floors with a living and dining area, a fully equipped, modern kitchen and a shower room upstairs and a lovely, furnished balcony overlooking the Frigiliana botanical gardens and beautiful Andalusian countryside.

The lower floor has a double bedroom, twin bedroom (both with large, fitted wardrobes) and good sized family bathroom. There is also a furnished terrace accessible from the main bedroom. Both the upstairs balcony and downstairs terrace benefit from morning shade and afternoon sun, with the sun setting directly opposite the apartment.

The accommodation offers air conditioning installed (August 2017) in the main living area and both bedrooms, free high speed wifi and full satellite TV system with access to all sports (BT Sports, Sky Sports etc), movies, kids channels, box sets and UK/European channels.

There is a fantastic, large and well maintained communal pool available within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Note the pool opens from 1st April to 31st October and closes during the winter.

The local, award-winning town of Frigiliana is on your doorstep with 40 or so bars and restaurants, local squares, shops and the local church all within a few minutes walk.

The nearest beach is in the larger town of Nerja, approximately 6 km away, which can be accessed easily by car or a local bus (€1 per person each way). Nerja has a selection of beaches and many bars, restaurants, shops and squares to explore.

A wonderful week in Frigiliana

My daughter Anna and I had been to Frigiliana as day trippers on several occasions with my late husband and loved it. To spend a week staying in the heart of this beautiful Pueblo was amazing. The apartment has everything you could possibly want and is very comfortable and cool. The swimming pool is great, albeit a little walk away and there are some amazing beaches to the west of Nerja, only a 10 minute drive away. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week in what has been a difficult year.

Lovely Frigiliana

Our stay in the beautiful village of Frigiliana could not have been better. We so enjoyed walking the streets of this charming spot. The apartment was in a perfect location: up a few stairs to Calle Real, the Main Street, close to the bus stop and the market square. Dom is a wonderful host responding quickly to any questions. Everything we needed was provided. The only drawback (and it was a big one) is that we had to cut our stay short because of COVID19. So sad to have to leave two weeks early of our month-long visit. Thank you so much, Dom and Rachel, for introducing us to Frigiliana.

Review of apartment 10C Calle Del agua Frigiliana

Excellent property every thing you need and more. Excellent view from both balconies and sunsets are amazing. Apartment is centrally located to all restaurants and they are also great. Dom the owner has an invaluable info folder with local details etc. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Amazing place to stay

Apartment was gorgeous well equipped and a great location short walks to different restaurants with stunning views. Frigilana is a wonderful place we will be back.

Great location

Very clean and well equipped apartment. 5 minutes walk to old town, restaurants etc. Had to park car on the street most days rather than use the nearby car park but not a massive issue. Swimming pool very nice, clean and plenty of sun beds. Would have no hesitation recommending.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of the town

Just got back from a short winter break in this property and we couldn't fault the property in any way. Everything was immaculately clean, with everything you could need for your stay. The terraces are really big and every room was perfectly equipped. It makes such a change to turn up to a property that has everything you need - especially the kitchen - it had everything we needed. The TV set up was great with all the UK channels and much more - great internet connection too. Bathrooms were spotless and the water pressure was really high, making for really good, powerful showers. Towels and bedding were all high quality - lots of love has gone into making this property a home from home. Would certainly recommend - lots of really good restaurants within a short walk away and a great base from which to explore the local area. Great comms from the owners pre our arrival (no need to contact them during our stay as nothing needed sorting) which is always reassuring. Wonderful sunsets too..... Well worth booking this property, thanks to the owners for putting the effort in to make it a home from home.

Lovely Apartment!

Ticked all the boxes. Very clean, very quiet and spacious. Extremely well equipped apartment. The kids loved the huge swimming pool. No problems finding a parking space and so nice to be close to the village centre. Nice bottle of wine on arrival. Thanks for everything Dom, we'll be back soon!

Fantastic apartment in a truly beautiful place.

Very comfortable , everything you need at hand. We loved the flat and Frigiliana. I am slightly disabled so it was a bit of an uphill trek to the flat from where we parked but worth it for the fab veiws.

Clean, fully equipped, beautiful property!

The apartment exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the views and the cleanliness. It was fully equipped with everything that you would need on holiday. If we would have to stay anything at all negative about the property is the fact that Frigiliana is a small town built on a hill. Luckily the apartment was on the first floor, yet you still had to climb 69 steps to get to it.

Wunderbar!

Diese Wohnung ist sehr angenehm, sauber und geräumig, modern eingerichtet, alles da, was man braucht, gut heizbar (wichtig im Winter). Die Vermieter sind, obwohl nicht vor Ort, sehr hilfreich und geben gute Tipps. Die Aussicht auf den botanischen Garten ist wirklich schön. Frigiliana ist sicher das schönste weisse Dorf in Andalusien, liebevoll gepflegt. Tolle Restaurants, vor allem die beiden Sacristan Restaurante und Taberna. Tagsüber gibt es regen Ausflugsverkehr von der Küste, nachts ist es ruhig. Achtung: viele Stufen hinauf und hinunter! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.

My wife, 4 year old daughter and I are from West Yorkshire in the UK and have recently purchased our apartment in Frigiliana (2017).

We first visited the area in 2009 and immediately fell in love with it - so much so that we were married in Nerja in 2010 and since then we have regularly returned to the area.

We always dreamed of owning a property in this part of Andalusia, and once we visited Frigiliana we knew this was the ideal town where we would love to own a place!

We have been lucky enough to make this happen and would now like to offer to share our apartment in this beautiful town.

Frigiliana is beautiful. It retains its Spanish charm and culture. It is a typical Andalusian white-washed town with wonderful restaurants and has won awards for being one of the wonders of Spain!

It offers the best of both worlds - traditional charm and a sense of 'true' Andalusian history and culture but with easy access to the larger town of Nerja with its wonderful beaches and wide selection of additional bars, eateries and shops.

- We have spent time updating the apartment and it has modern fixtures and fittings and is fully equipped
- Air conditioning has been installed throughout (August 2017)

- Free satellite TV (sky sports, BT sports, movies, box sets, kids programmes etc)
