Beautiful condo decor to die for but really bad beds and at my age sleep is the priority

  • 3 of 5

Perfect spot to explore Savannah lovely condo all perfect and beautiful until bedtime. Comfort maynot be important to the young party people but this old gal needs sleep and those beds need to be replaced.

Owner's Response: The beds here are very high end new mattress and box spring sets. Unfortunately there is no mattress that suits 100% of all guests and tastes in mattress firmness, etc vary greatly. We have gotten many positive comments and very few negative comments regarding these beds.

Perfect location in the historic downtown area of Savannah!

As soon as we walked inside, we knew we made an great choice! Loved the interior, with all its art and eclectic style. Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Next time we come back to Savannah, we hope this property is available again!

The rental itself was very nice and comfortable. It was great having private parking. We were able to quickly walk to many attractions. You really can't go wrong with this rental. We look forward to staying there again!

Very nice place, great owners

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this property -- unfortunately cut short by Hurricane Irma! Very well situated for tourism, we were there for SCAD orientation and it served as a great location -- right next to SCAD administrative offices, not too far from dorms and other activities. Two very comfortable bedrooms, all the right amenities.

The apartment itself was quaint & lovely; however, the person above was LOUD and parked in our spot.

As stated above, the apartment was very nice, but the person above us parked in our spot twice. I finally asked her to move the second time because I was traveling with my elderly mother and parking is very difficult to find. We found out it was a "house-sitter" ; however, she should have been told that they had renters below and should adhere to the quiet hours that we were expected to adhere to as well ( 9 pm-5 am). They had a dog and it sounded like a horse running back and forth above our heads at 10:45 pm. Additionally, the washing machine smelled horribly and the towels were so putrid smelling we could barely stand to use them. We finally used a beach towel instead. Due to the noise the last night of our stay, we were woken again at 11:00 pm and we just decided to leave then. I will not be back to this place of residence.

Owner's Response: This was definitely a case where we could have helped if only we had been notified of the problems earlier in the stay. This guest did not communicate any issues until 11pm on her last night. The owner forgot to tell the house sitter which parking spot we tell guests to use. The washer door had been shut while wet which is bad for front loaders, the door needs to be left ajar to dry out. Neither complaint is a recurring event.
