Beautiful Place

  • 5 of 5

We had five couples going to a wedding in Boone, and rented the house from Thurs-Sunday.

The house is simply lovely with great spaces to chat, watch tv, dine, and sleep. The porch provided great views of the surrounding (and lower) mountains. Morning views with the sun coming up and the fog in the valleys were spectacular.

It's a steep drive up the driveway with plenty of switchbacks, but we had no problem getting up to the house. Would have a problem when snow covered.

We used the hot tub which was very convenient with the electric cover rollback. We also used the grill one evening to cook steaks. The porch fire pit was nice to sit around during the cool evenings.

All the bedrooms and baths were very nice and the whole house is nicely appointed.

In conclusion: we liked it very much and will probably get a group to go back there sometime soon.

Perfect home for a mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

Overall very positive experience. Blue ridge mountain rentals were pleasant to work with. The home was huge and very accommodating. The only draw back was the advertised gas grill was broken
